Getting very Rare to find.  1996 Cadillac Fleetwood Six Passenger Limousine, always garaged and always private use.   The 1996 Fleetwood was the last year for the full frame rear wheel drive vehicles with the powerful V-8 LT-1 Engine.  Very collectible.  They were very saught after by limousine companies to stretch them.  This vehicle started life as a standard sedan and was stretched 48 inches by S& S Coach one of the oldest coach builders in the U.S.  It is finished in silver metalic with a black canvas 3/4 padded roof and privacy trim with opera lights.

Mechanically- The LT-1 V-8 Engine is one of the most powerful and most reliable engines built by GM. It is the engine that was also in the Corvettes in 1996.  These engines will go 300K miles.   This car has just over 54K miles and the engine and matched transmission is perfect and everything mechanically works perfectly. The Engine compartment is clean and  detailed, all fluids changed and belts new, transmission shifts perfectly, muffler is perfect, dual climate control systems work perfectly.  Trunk has original jack, perfect spare on factory correct full size rim.

Exterior Costmetics- Silver Metalic Mist paint has no scratches or dings or dents, chrome shines very well.  There is no rust anywhere on this vehicle top or bottom, panels etc. , it was always garage kept and washed after use.   Not one mark anywhere on the vehicle.  Like new paint and black canvas top.

Interior - the interior is finished in medium blue leather and is in very good condition.  Driver's compartment is factory perfect with added rear AC controls.  Rear compartment has two bench seats facing eachother that fit six large people.   Rear seat has armrest and rear AC louvers are on rear deck.  The stretched portion of the car has two hidden doors with no handles on the outside and door pulls in the jams.  Very neat feature.   This car is an awesome vehicle to drive and a real head turner.  Room for a total of nine people.   There is no partition in this car but it is an easy add.

Priced very realistically for awesome condition and how rare the configuration is.  This car is as close to pristine as an 18 year old car can get.   More reliable and stately than anything made today   Please email thru ebay and ask any questions prior to bidding.  We will send more pictures and answer any questions.  Vehicle is in Florida

2018 Cadillac CTS-V gets frosty with 115 Glacier Metallic Edition models

Sun, Aug 27 2017

To celebrate the company's 115th anniversary, Cadillac has introduced a special edition of the CTS-V called the Glacier Metallic Edition. Apparently, Cadillac really likes creating special edition models focused on ice and cold. The name comes from the exclusive Glacier Metallic paint, which to us looks like a shade of white, but according to Cadillac, it's actually gray. In addition to the special color, the car also includes the normally optional Carbon Fiber Package and Luxury Package, along with red Brembo brake calipers. It also fits silver and gray forged wheels instead of the black ones the Carbon Fiber Package typically comes with. All the other features, including driving instruction in Las Vegas, are the same as a normal CTS-V. This special edition Cadillac isn't cheap, though. It runs $103,885. Optioning out a regular CTS-V in the same way as the Glacier Metallic model would save you roughly $6,000, and you wouldn't be missing any features. What you would miss out on would be the exclusivity. Cadillac is only building 115 CTS-Vs in this special color. So if you want to stand out -- at least as much as you can with such a subtle color -- the CTS-V Glacier Metallic Edition is the Caddy to buy. Related Video:

Best sport sedans for 2022 and 2023

Thu, Nov 11 2021

SUVs dominate the car industry at every size and price level, but some people still prefer the looks, and more importantly, the performance and comfort, of the traditional sedan. With a lower ride height, lighter weight and generally smaller size, they often are much more fun to drive, and can even be more comfortable. Sport sedans of course lean harder on the performance side of things, and are among the best options for sheer speed and fun, thanks to those inherent characteristics. We've rounded up the ones in the segment that do the sporty dance better than any others in 2024 to give you a handy guide when you're shopping for one of your own. You'll find a wide array of cars here including gas, electric and hybrid powertrains. They'll have manual and automatic transmissions and drive the front, rear or all four wheels. Technically a few hatchbacks have slipped in, but they're close enough in look and feel that we wanted to include them. And excluding them means you might miss out on some of the best-driving options available. You wouldn't want that, would you? Alfa Romeo Giulia Why it stands out: Punchy four-cylinder; astounding power from Quadrifoglio; light and nimble character; awesome shift paddlesCould be better: Clunky infotainment; sub-par switchgear Read our Alfa Romeo Giulia review We start this list with one of the most predictable inclusions: the Alfa Romeo Giulia. Yes, it's a stereotype that the Italian sport sedan is fun to drive, but the fact is, well, it is. The Giulia comes standard with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder making 280 horsepower, making it one of the most powerful four-cylinders in the segment. It's paired with a snappy and smooth eight-speed transmission and either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive.  The engine is lively and torquey, if a little short of revs, and the chassis feels super-light. The steering is eager and the car jumps into corners. We also highly recommend getting a version with the enormous and superb aluminum paddle shifters that make clicking through gears much more entertaining. And on the topic of the interior, it's attractive, but the various switches and knobs feels a little cheap, and the infotainment system is clunky. Of course there's also the incredible Giulia Quadrifoglio at the high end. It gets a Ferrari-derived twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 making 505 hp, and it's rear-wheel drive only.

Cadillac considering ultra-luxe, $100k+ Escalade

Tue, Sep 22 2015

The Cadillac Escalade has pushed incrementally up-market over the years. From its humble Chevy/GMC truck underpinnings, the latest Escalade starts at $72,970 and tops out at $96,940. But according to the latest reports, Cadillac is weighing an even more upscale version. Though the exact nature of the upgrades that would push the Escalade further up-market remain unknown – and perhaps undecided at this point – the impetus for such a move is crystal clear. European luxury SUVs keep getting more and more expensive, both from established players and new challengers. Bentley just launched the Bentayga, and other luxury marques like Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Maserati, and Lamborghini are all getting into the game. All the while manufacturers like Land Rover and Mercedes-Benz keep rolling out ever more expensive offerings, like the Range Rover Autobiography and anticipating forthcoming Maybach sport-ute. To challenge those European imports with their astronomic price tags, Cadillac could go with an even higher trim level than its existing Platinum spec – or it could go with a more powerful, performance-oriented Escalade V or Vsport. Getting that big a vehicle to hustle would require a lot of power, but then General Motors has never been one to shy away from slotting a bigger engine into its vehicles. One thing's for certain though, and that's that Cadillac isn't quite done with pushing the Escalade higher up the market.
