Up for sale is a magnificent example of a 1992 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. 1992 was THE LAST PRODUCTION YEAR of the big bodied Fleetwoods. With only 56,000 original miles, this car has been well cared for and it shows inside and out. Outside the white paint and white vinyl top shine like new, while the beautiful blue leather interior has the same luster as it did when new. The car runs and drives flawlessly, the transmission shifts nice and smooth. Built at the GM Arlington, Texas assembly plant, it was delivered to Forrest Cadillac in Cleburne, Texas, where it was purchased new. It has been a Texas car for it's whole life. While this car has never been completely restored, it is in what I believe to be exceptional shape for it's age. I would personally drive this car to Canada and back (from Texas) without hesitation. The only thing not working on the car to my knowledge is the power radio antenna, it is currently in the down position. I was told it needs a switch. I have been able to pick up most FM stations with it down though. The rear body fillers next to the tail lights are in tact, but each one has a minor crack. (as I tried to show in the pictures). Most of the cars this age those pieces are all busted out. The only dent is a small one on the left rear quarter panel. (You have to be looking hard to find it.) Also, the rear plastic around the license plate and the plastic piece on the rear bumper look like they have been re-painted, probably just due to sun fade. (The car was kept underneath a carport with a cover on it but the rear end stuck out.) This car has a no accident history. Whether you are looking for a Fleetwood to collect or just want a dependable car, this is the car for you. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!

2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe
Thu, 30 Oct 2014Cadillac has become a very, very different company since the dawn of the new millenium. Its turn-of-the-century lineup, consisting of staid offerings like the Seville, DeVille and Eldorado, represented the Old Cadillac. These cars were plagued with Old GM quality issues and catered to a more elderly audience. Since the company's Art and Science design language arrived, though, we've seen Cadillac flesh out its lineup in a big way, introducing notable and (so far) enduring products, like the the CTS, SRX and most recently, the ATS.
With the CTS tackling the 5 Series segment and the SRX duking it out with the Lexus RX and its classmates, the ATS has been left with the tough task of battling the BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class, among others. Critically, at least, it has excelled in this role, but it's still working on finding its feet sales-wise. On paper, broadening the model range by adding a two-door personal luxury coupe could help.
After a week with the ATS Coupe, though, we've found a car that, while retaining the standard model's excellent driving character, doesn't quite offer enough visual excitement to stand up to other cars in its segment.
Watch the 2014 Cadillac CTS get its groove on in the rain
Sun, 31 Mar 2013In case you haven't got enough of the 2014 Cadillac CTS that just debuted at the New York Auto Show, Cadillac has let us have some rolling footage of the car around its test track along with a few words from VP of marketing Don Butler and executive director of design Mark Adams.
You won't learn much more about its 420-horsepower, twin-turbo V6 but you can hear how it growls in the rain, and you can get a better idea of how you'll look in the driver's seat giving it a workout. That's got to be worth something, right? You'll find both videos just below.
Mystery Cadillac coupe concept revealed in patent drawings
Fri, Jul 6 2018We have been reminded once again that when Cadillac designs a coupe, it's usually spectacular. The reminder comes in the form of a patent drawing filing that was previously reported on by Jalopnik. In the filing are shots of the two-door from just about every angle, and there's not a bad one in the bunch. Unfortunately, there isn't really any other information about the car in the patent, so the car remains a mystery in that regard. Still, there's a fair amount to be gleaned from the images. It certainly looks sportier than most recent Cadillac concepts. It has a fastback roof and a short deck lid. The rear bumper has a diffuser design fitted to it. The rear fenders are very wide. It has large auxiliary grilles on each side of the center one, and the way the taillights are designed seem to hint at extractor vents. The overall proportions even look a bit like those of the Camaro, but possibly a little larger. The car also looks like it's probably a concept. The side mirror stalks are far too skinny to actually be production units. The big diffuser and center exhaust, plus those rear extractor vent designs seem a little much for a production model, too. The headlights are also a little on the small side. Being a concept (probably), we're a little worried. We really want to see this thing come to market, but Cadillac has a bad track record of showing beautiful concepts that never make it to production, even when they aren't particularly over-the-top. The Elmiraj and Ciel are two that come to mind. The former was a coupe, too, and was elegant and grounded. We never got a production version of either. We did see some styling inspiration from the Elmiraj on the ATS and CTS, but they never quite captured the concept's beauty. Then again, when Cadillac has managed to bring a recent concept to production, the results haven't great. The Converj concept became the ELR, and while the styling came through fine, it was hampered by an uninspiring powertrain and an excruciating price tag. But hey, Cadillac could always prove us wrong. And we would like them to.
