This is my retirement community "barn find" and I wish I had the time to finish this project. This car has sat for quite a while before I got it and it did not run when I purchased it. I had the car delivered to my house and the only thing that was preventing it from running was a crack in a fuel line. I replaced the fuel pump (because it was already half way done) and the fuel line and it fired right up. According the previous owner this car spent a few years in Florida and then spent 40+ years here in Arizona. There is no rust on this car (except one hole in front bumper where the battery dripped acid and ate through, see last pic.) and is as solid as the day it rolled off the showroom floor which makes it a great foundation for a project. Now for the things that need attention; The A/C doesn't work, Power seat doesn't move (can hear motor running but it doesn't move), Power door locks don't work ( after some research I found out they run on vacuum lines which I'm sure are dry and cracked), The door weather Stripping is dry and cracking, and it needs a tune up. Don't get the wrong idea this is really great car and I pick up the kids from school and get groceries in it (the trunk is friggin' huge). This car just needs someone to take the time to fix the little things that go with time. Cadillac's new ad campaign to tell you how to get lucky

Cadillac is set to launch a new ad campaign this fall, as it attempts to maintain the momentum established by new models like the ATS. The campaign comes from an agency called Rogue, and according to AdAge, will lean on American values. It's called, "Work Hard. Be Lucky."
The campaign is fairly self-explanatory, just from the tagline. It's meant to make a Cadillac seem more attainable to the average, aspirational buyer. It does kind of pander to that American idea that everyone's hard work gets rewarded, but as ad campaigns go, that's not a bad thing.
Somehow, it doesn't roll off the tongue quite like "The Standard of the World." As AdAge points out, Cadillac's advertising over the years has lacked a real coherent theme, although we'll admit to enjoying the most recent campaigns, particularly the around-the-world jaunts with the ATS. It's unclear if the "Work Hard. Be Lucky." theme will evolve into an actual tagline for the brand, with Caddy spokesman Dave Caldwell telling the advertising mag, "It could very easily end up being a line of copy along with other lines; we don't really know yet. It's an open question as to how dramatically it will be featured."
