1957 Cadillac Fleetwood. The exterior is in great condition. Has a couple of small scrches that need to be touched up and a couple of nicks. The interior is almost perfect. It needs the insturment panel touched up and some electrical work done. the upholotry is like brand new, not a fdlaww anywhere. The door panels are perfect excpet the right rear whre a window was not totally closed during a rain. I do not know the mileage, it reads 22000 and does work. The one giveay that it is not correct is the amount of play in the steering wheel. the pedels and seats do not show any where. The car rus great, Thinking to take it to Hot August Nights in Reno, NV. this year I am a Packard and Lincoln collector first. This is due to my ties with packard Motor and with the Lincoln Division when I was in the automobile business in Detroit. I am also in need of making room for a Packard I want to buy in a week. This is a true orginal Cadillac, new generator and woltage regulator and engine and transmission run perfectly. Has the poer pull down on the deck lid and a 6 way power seat and power windows. The color is called Tahoe Blue, The interior is perfect and I must believe orginal, learther trim and cloth inserts and not a thread showing wear. I am willing to sell due to this almost perfect Packard being offered to me at a great price. I am not able to add aby automobiles to my collection until I sell either this Cadillac or a beautiful Mercedes 280 C I also want to sell. I have many more pictures and can be available to show he cars anytime.

GM winding down Chevrolet brand in Europe
Thu, 05 Dec 2013If you've taken even a cursory look at GM's European strategy and wondered how it can target the market there with both Chevrolet and Opel/Vauxhall, you're not alone. In fact General Motors itself has found it difficult to justify the two-pronged approach. That's why it's essentially pulling Chevy from the European marketplace.
Instead of trying to ply European buyers with what are mostly former Daewoo products rebadged as Chevys, GM will now let Opel (or Vauxhall in the UK) represent its mass-market aspirations. Chevrolet will keep its presence in Russia and other former Soviet markets, and will continue selling certain niche products in Eastern and Western Europe. The Corvette, for example, has long been sold in Europe through Cadillac dealerships, which for its part is currently "finalizing plans for expanding in the European market".
While the shift in strategy is expected to help GM get a stronger foothold in the European market in the long run, in the short term the restructuring will cost it dearly: between $700 million and $1 billion, according to its own estimates, split between the last quarter of this year and the first half of the next. Cadillac bids farewell to CTS-V Coupe with special edition
Mon, 12 May 2014With the introduction of the latest Cadillac CTS, we knew it would only be a matter of time before a new CTS-V would come along. Now General Motors has revealed that the next CTS-V will arrive sometime next year, but before it does, the company is sending off the outgoing coupe with a special edition.
For 2015, the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe will come in a limited edition of 500 units decked out with a dark grille treatment, satin-finish wheels, red brake calipers and an upgraded cabin. The interior is decked out Recaro seats trimmed in black with red stitching, Midnight Sapele wood trim, metal pedals and a microsuede-trimmed steering wheel and shifter.
Buyers will be able to opt for white, gray or optional black exterior paint, an available sunroof and a six-speed transmission in either manual or automatic configuration. Of course, the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 comes standard with 556 horsepower, as does Magnetic Ride Control and brakes by Brembo. Pricing will be announced closer to launch, but in the mean time, you can read all there is to know by checking out the official release below.
