2003 Cadillac Escalade. Lots Of Extras. Must See! on 2040-cars

2003 Cadillac Escalade
This is a head turning Escalade with lots of extras. I purchased it in 2005 and have taken great care of it, both inside and out. Here are some highlights: - 6.0 Liter V8 Engine - All Wheel Drive - Tow Package (although I never towed anything with it) - E & G Classics Front Grill and Dual Exhaust - 22" Helo Wheels - Custom Rear Spoiler - Fresh Full Detail - Up to Date Maintenance - 159k Miles I hate to get rid of it, but I recently had a job transfer that requires a longer commute; so it's finally time to move on to something more fuel efficient. I priced it near KBB private party value, but with all the extras this is a great deal. I have a clear title and bill of sale waiting for the lucky new owner. If you want an expensive looking vehicle for a reasonable price, this is it! I live in the gated community (with gate guards) of Oak Tree in Edmond. It's a safe environment to check it out. Feel free to email or call 405-625-3088 to ask questions or schedule a test drive. Local pick up only. No shipping. Thanks for looking, Michael |

2013 Cadillac XTS [w/video]
Wed, 30 Jan 2013The Cadillac Of Stopgaps
As confusing as most alphanumeric car names have gotten in recent years, at least one constant has been that the letter "X" is generally indicative of a crossover. Then why did General Motors use this letter on its new 2013 Cadillac XTS luxury sedan? Well, for that, we'll have to look to the world of mathematics where "X" stands for an unknown variable or a placeholder. Now we're talking. The XTS is just an interim product sitting at the top of Cadillac's four-door food chain until the brand gets a true flagship in place. That sounds like a lot of resources to spend on what will likely be a one-and-done model, but the automaker needed to get something - anything - to replace the DTS.
So here you have the 2013 XTS. A big luxury sedan that was created to bridge the gap between Cadillac's recent past and its pending future. Going into our week with this XTS knowing that it was a stopgap measure proved to be both a blessing and a curse. On one hand, we know (or hope) that this car will act as a baseline for future high-end Cadillac models, but at the same time, we couldn't help but be mindful of past stopgap models, albeit in more entry-level segments, like the Cimarron and Catera.

Cadillac teases production ELR ahead of Detroit Auto Show
Tue, 18 Dec 2012General Motors has just confirmed that the 2014 Cadillac ELR will make its official debut next month at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. We've already seen the ELR testing earlier this year using the same range-extended electric drive system as the Chevrolet Volt, and based on the shadowy image above, we're happy to see that the coupe's styling has stayed pretty true to 2009 Converj Concept.
The two-door ELR will be built alongside the Volt at GM's Detroit-Hamtramck plant starting later next year. Aside from this info, Cadillac has remained tight-lipped on the specific details of the car. But all that will all change on January 15.
Until then, all we have to offer you is the press release posted after the jump.
