AMAZING CONDITION IN AND OUT!

I AM THE 2ND OWNER OF THIS BLACK ON BLACK BEAUTY. THIS CAR HAS BEEN BABIED, GARAGED AND PERFECTLY MAINTAINED ITS ENTIRE LIFE.
I BOUGHT THIS CAR FROM AN 83YR OLD WOMAN IN CENTRAL FLORIDA AND THE CAR HAD ONLY BEEN DRIVEN ABOUT 1K MILES IN THE PAST 5YRS.
IT SAT IN HER GARAGE.
PRIOR TO THAT, SHE DROVE IT TO HER SUMMER HOME IN PA WHERE SHE ORIGINALLY PURCHASED THE CAR. THE 75K MILES ARE TRULY HWY,
LADY DRIVEN.

WHEN THE CAR ARRIVED TO ME VIA TRANSPORT, I TOOK IT RIGHT TO THE LOCAL CADILLAC DEALER WHERE THEY WERE VERY IMPRESSED...
I ASKED THEM TO GO OVER IT COMPLETELY AND CHANGE ALL THE FLUIDS AND BATTERY BECAUSE IT HAD SAT. THEY DID SO.
I ALSO ASKED THEM TO CHECK THE TIRES EVEN THOUGH THEY LOOKED NEW. THE TIRE WERE DRY ROT FROM SITTING IN GARAGE.
I REPLACED THEM WITH 4 NEW VOGUE TYRES. I HAVE PUT  A LITTLE OVER 1K MILES ON THEM.
WHILE THEY WHERE MOUNTING TIRES, I ALSO HAD THEM REPLACE THE BRAKE PADS WITH NEW CERAMIC BRAKE PADS AS TO KNOCK DOWN THE
BRAKE DUST THROWN ON THE WHITE WALL OF THE NEW VOGUE TYRES AND ALSO HELPS TO KEEP THE FACTORY CHROME WHEEL CLEAN(BY 90%)

I DID A FULL MAJOR TUNE UP AND HAD THE INJECTORS CLEANED. GETS EXCELLENT GAS MILEAGE.

THIS BLACK BEAUTY HAS A STUNNING GOLD PACKAGE, GOLD EDITION THAT IS HIGHLIGHTED WITH A GOLD BILLET GRILLE, WHICH IS NEARLY PERFECT!

THE BOSE SOUND SYSTEM WITH CASSETTE AND CD PLAYER IN DASH, PLAYS OUT LIKE SITTING IN A CONCERT. THERE IS ALSO A 12 CD CHANGER IN THE TRUNK(WHICH I HAVE NEVER USED)

THE MILEAGE AND THE INTERIOR JUST DON'T COINCIDE AS THE INTERIOR IS IN SUCH A BEAUTIFUL CONDITION, EVEN THE DEALERSHIP SAID IT SHOWS BETTER THAN A CAR WITH 1/2 ITS MILES...

THE EXTERIOR PAINT IS ORIGINAL AND SHOWS VERY WELL AND IS RUST FREE!
AMAZING FOR A 1999. THERE ARE SOME MINOR DENTS AND DINGS AND LIGHT CHIPS IN PAINT OR THE CLEAR COAT UPON CLOSER EXAMINATION, BUT TO BE EXPECTED NOT ONLY FOR ITS AGE, BUT FOR HAVING MAINLY HWY MILES.

EVERY TIME I TAKE THIS CAR OUT, PEOPLE STOP ME ASK QUESTIONS AND ALWAYS OFFER TO BUY IT! THIS BLACK ON BLACK BEAUTY DOES NOT DISAPPOINT.

I HAVE NOT SEEN A BLACK ON BLACK IN THIS CONDITION AS NEW, ANYWHERE.

THE SOFT, LUXURIOUS RIDE, POWER AND TORQUE OF THE 300HP 32 VALVE NORTHSTAR  THAT THIS ELDORADO OFFERS ALONG WITH ITS GM RELIABILITY AND CADILLAC CLASS, ALONG WITH ALL THE MANY CUSTOM FEATURES MAKE THIS BLACK ON BLACK CADILLAC ELDORADO A RARE FIND.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A REALLY AMAZING CAR, DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS ONE!

I AM SELLING THE CAR AS I AM LOSING MY STORAGE SPACE AND DO NOT WANT THE CAR SITTING OUTSIDE. I AM NOT A DEALER, SO THE CAR IS SOLD AS-IS WHERE-IS AND THE BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR TRANSPORT FROM HOLLYWOOD, FL 33021
YOU COULD ALSO PICK UP THIS CAR AND DRIVE IT ANYWHERE!

2016 Cadillac ATS-V brandishes 450 horses and 6-speed manual

Tue, 11 Nov 2014

Details about the hotly anticipated 2016 Cadillac ATS-V are tumbling out, and they look to be everything we could ask for in a high-performance Caddy coupe.
According to Road & Track, the ATS-V will use a version of the twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 from the CTS Vsport, but the wick will be turned up to 450 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. In glorious news for driving enthusiasts everywhere, that potent mill will be available with either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic.
According to R&T, the engine has a heap of high-performance tech to let it make the extra ponies, including titanium connecting rods, two water-to-air intercoolers, titanium turbines for the turbos and an additional radiator dedicated to cooling the gearbox and electronically locking differential. Keeping it all planted are a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, and a suspension with 50 percent more roll stiffness.

GM admits Cadillac ELR no real competition for Tesla Model S

Fri, Aug 15 2014

Last year, then-CEO of General Motors, Dan Akerson, made it clear that the company lookouts at the Ren Cen had California automaker Tesla in their sights. "If you want to compete head-to-head with Tesla, and we ultimately will, you want to do it with a Cadillac," he said. So, given the fact that the Cadillac ELR has a plug and sells for roughly the same price at the Tesla Model S ($75,000 vs $69,900, before incentives) and that Cadillac doesn't have any other electric vehicle on the horizon, you'd be forgiven if you thought that the way that Akerson wanted to challenge Tesla's EV success was with the ELR. Well, you'd apparently be wrong. "The ELR is a different car, it's a different price point. It's way-different technology." - GM's Mark Reuss Speaking yesterday in Detroit, GM's head of global product development, Mark Reuss, admitted that the ELR is not the Tesla competitor that Akerson promised. "People like to say the ELR is [competition for the Model S], but it's really not. It's a different car, it's a different price point. It's way-different technology." So, if we follow that logic to conclusion with Akerson's quote from last year, then the only way that Cadillac can eventually compete with Tesla is with a pure electric car, and that seems an outside chance, at best, for the foreseeable future. Through the end of July, Cadillac has sold 578 ELRs since it went on sale earlier this year. Tesla doesn't break out monthly US sales, but has sold 15,114 Model S EVs around the world in the first six months of 2014. For his part, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has already said that GM is headed down the wrong path with plug-in hybrids like the ELR or the Chevy Volt. Speaking about the Volt last year, Musk said, Chevy "sort of created something that's a bit of amphibian," which resulted in a car that's, "Okay but not great."

Cadillac's de Nysschen won't budge on raised pricing

Thu, 18 Sep 2014

According to new Cadillac boss Johan de Nysschen, it will take between 10 and 15 years to elevate GM's top brand, which was once hailed as "The Standard Of The World," back to prominence in the minds of American customers. And to hear the executive talk of it, the brand is going to have to be willing to see sales falter in the near-term before they recover:
"Either you have to bring your volume aspirations into alignment with reality and accept that you will sell fewer cars... Or you have to drop the price and continue to transact at the prices where you were historically... I think the logical conclusion is that it's better to build off a very solid base in terms of [product] credibility, charge a fair price for the car and realize you have to wait until the volume comes."
In other words, sales will fall before they rise, and the brand has to be okay with that. Notice, too, that de Nysschen speaks of "a fair price" for Cadillac cars and utility vehicles. In this case, "fair" means more than many of the brand's traditional buyers are accustomed to, and roughly in line with the brands and machines Cadillac believes it is competing against. For instance, the newly enlarged 2014 CTS carries a suggested retail price that is over $6,000 higher than it was in 2013, and some trim levels boast an even higher price premium over the models they replace.
