1996 Eldorado Etc- Brand New Transmission- Runs Great- Ice Cold A/c- Sunroof on 2040-cars
Palm City, Florida, United States
Offered here is my good friends' 1996 Cadillac Eldorado ETC. This touring coupe comes with the 300 HP Northstar motor. Much faster and stronger than the regular base Eldorado coupe. It has less than normal miles at 6874 miles per year for an 18 year old vehicle. Kelly Blue Book has the value of this car listed at $3685 in fair condition, $4110 in good condition(which is the value placed on it), $4235 in Very Good condition and $4485 in Excellent condition... I have owned the car for approx. 4 years, and have Never had a breakdown. The previous owner, which was an elderly woman in NY, did not keep the Leather interior so it has afew cracks and shows clean wear. The drivers' seat shows the most wear, but I placed seat covers on both front heated seats, which both work well. It is being sold at No Reserve. Please ask any/all questions that will be answered as soon as possible. Being an ex-fleet manager at a rental car company in NY, I was able to keep this car running very well, as I had access to a great mechanic and plenty of parts. I also bought extra parts that are included in the spare tire well. All power items work well. Muffler might need to be replaced, so will a wheel sensor, as Brake and Traction control lights are on. The brakes are not comprimised as the car stops well with replaced front & rear drilled, slotted rotors and New ceramic pads on all 4 corners. I also replaced the Transmission with a brand new unit from Lee Myles in January, then drove down to Florida without any issues whatsoever. Those 1500 or less miles are the Only miles on this Transmission. I have receipts for all work done. Title is clean and signed, Ready for the New Owner. Moonroof opens with ease and also vents with No Problem At All. Leather Steering wheel and Shifter Handle in Great condition, as I found here on e-bay and replaced both items. I replaced the factory radio with a Kenwood KVT-717, Removable flip-face DVD radio, Navigation ready with remote control and also comes with the original manual. I had a Crimestopper remote alarm system with remote lock & unlock entry features installed as soon as I bought the car. The original Cadillac key and 2 remotes are included, along with all original paperwork. The Original factory Owners' manual is still in the glovebox. The airbag suspension was replaced with Brand New front struts and rear shocks about a year ago. Motor runs well, but has a very small oil leak on Oil pan, just a drop or 2 noticed. My mechanic told me it is an easy repair, just needing the oil pan gasket replaced. Many New Parts installed, this car is a steal at this price. I'm sure that I am missing some info on this fine vehicle, so please ask questions and they will be answered as soon as possible. Offered at No Reserve. Many Thanks for looking, watching and/or bidding. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Editors' Picks February 2022 | GMC Yukon, CT4-V Blackwing and Lexus NX 450h+
Fri, Mar 11 2022The shortest month of the year spawned a few Editors' Picks choices, and they come from a variety of categories amongst the car world. One comes with a particular caveat, the Lexus NX. Specifically, the new NX that gets our nod is the 450h plug-in hybrid model. We can heartily recommend an NX in this guise for its superb electrified powertrain, but the other versions fail to stir us in the same way. Beyond this, it's some of the latest from GM cleaning up, and they sure are some good ones. In case you missed our previous Editors' Picks posts, here’s a quick refresher on whatÂ’s going on here. We rate all the new cars we drive with a 1-10 score. Cars that are exemplary in their respective segments get EditorsÂ’ Pick status. Those are the ones weÂ’d recommend to our friends, family and anybody whoÂ’s curious and asks the question. The list that youÂ’ll find below consists of every car we rated in January that earned an EditorsÂ’ Pick. 2022 GMC Yukon Quick take: The Yukon is a big, comfortable and versatile SUV that has a little something for everybody, so long as you can stomach the fuel economy. It's an excellent middle ground between the Tahoe and Escalade. Score: 8.0 What it competes with: Ford Expedition, Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer, Lincoln Navigator, Chevrolet Tahoe, Cadillac Escalade Pros: Tons of space, comfy ride, great trim variety, powerful engine options Cons: V8 Fuel economy, infotainment can be laggy, unexciting base interiors From the editors Road Test Editor, Zac Palmer — "GM's full-size SUVs are fantastic this time around, especially if you opt for the magnetic shocks and air suspension. The availability of a diesel engine that vastly improves fuel economy is huge, and the Denali trim is more special than ever with its unique interior design. I personally prefer the Yukon's styling over the Tahoe's, too." In-depth analysis: 2022 GMC Yukon Review | AT4 and Denali make the strongest case  2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Quick take: Cadillac is at the top of the mountain with its performance sedans, and the CT4-V Blackwing is no exception. One drive in this magnificent creation will have any enthusiast convinced that it's a top-tier sport sedan.
Your guide to vehicle subscription services
Mon, Oct 1 2018They might be extremely limited in scope because of location availability, but vehicle subscription services are a growing trend that most luxury manufacturers are jumping on. Plans are expensive, but you're paying for much more than just the car typically. We highlighted four of the larger plans with a few more listed at the end. Care by Volvo Volvo launched its subscription service last year with its brand-new XC40. It was the only vehicle available for a time, but subscribers can now get an S60 sedan as well. Subscriptions are for two years, with the monthly price including insurance, a concierge service, wear-and-tear item replacements and all maintenance. You'll be able to drive 15,000 miles per year with whichever Volvo you choose, and although there are no options to extend that mileage, you can swap cars after a year. Pricing for the XC40 is $650 per month in base trim, while an S60 can be as expensive as $850 for the R-Design. Volvo's plan is to offer more cars soon through the service, but it's relatively limited compared to others right now. Porsche Passport Porsche has two levels in its subscription service: Launch and Accelerate. Launch will cost $2,000 per month and give you access to the Cayman, Boxster, Macan and Cayenne. All of those but the Cayenne can be had in "S" trim as well. Accelerate is where the fun really starts. For $3,000 per month you can choose from a fleet of 911s, including the S, 4S, Cabriolet and Cabriolet S. If those aren't enough, you can also get the Panamera 4S, Macan GTS and Cayenne S. There are no mileage limits and you can change vehicles as often as you'd like. Also included in the price is insurance, repairs, detailing and any maintenance. It might be extremely expensive and limited to Atlanta only, but this subscription service is second-to-none for what you get. Audi Select Audi just launched its subscription car service, and it's offered in one version for a flat fee of $1,395 per month. For that you'll have access to five different cars including the A4, S5 Coupe, A5 Cabriolet, Q5, and Q7. Not a bad range of vehicles, but it would've been neat to see the recently updated A7 in there too. Maybe in time. Like the others, insurance and maintenance are wrapped up in the price. Audi is allowing for unlimited miles and two car swaps per month here. In addition to that, you'll get two days of free rentals through Audi's Silvercar rental agency should you go on a trip.
Cadillac XTS to become Opel flagship sedan?
Tue, 24 Jul 2012According to Auto-News.de, Opel is considering using Cadillac's all-new big sedan, the XTS, as the base for its new flagship car, which would likely carry the name Omega.
WorldCarFans.com speculates that Opel could use GM's 3.6-liter direct-injection V6 that generates 304 horsepower or, possibly, a 2.8-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine that creates 321 horsepower to power the vehicle. The European automaker could even use a 195-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine in this application - fine, since many of Europe's largest sedans are powered by smaller, more efficient engines.
Regardless of power, the Omega could arrive at dealerships by the end of 2013.
