If not sure how eBay works don't hesitate to contact me first... I'll be happy to answer any questions! Thank you!

I am listing this 2006 Cadillac DTS with about 65,000 miles for an older gentleman in Sarasota, about 1 hour south of me. He's the original owner and is selling because he and his wife are moving back north.

I drove this Cadillac and it runs like a new vehicle so there's really not much more to say because everything works as it should, well maintained, etc. Owner recently purchased new Firestone tires. It has a very slight ding on the trunk lid so it's too weak to show on photo. Also, this car had a minor front accident, but nothing structural whatsoever so it may come up on the history report.

To sum it up, this is a very clean Cadillac that's ready to go to a new home. Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions. Attention: eBay does no longer offer complementary car history reports with more than 6 listings per year, so I leave it to the buyer to pull one if desired.

Estimated selling price: Somewhere between $10,000 and $14,000... Good luck!

This is a NO RESERVE LISTING, so this is a good opportunity to acquire a very nice Cadillac DTS. Serious eBay members only, PLEASE!! As you can see per my feedback I don't play games so extend me the same courtesy. There's a $1000.00 deposit due within 24 hours, so make sure this is what you want before bidding, and that your financials are in order too! Deposits may be returned if an issue with the item arises that I wasn't aware of, or/and I fail to describe suitablyI gladly accept deposits through Pay Pal, but can not accept full balance because Pay Pal now requires to show electronic tracking when shipping any item in order for the seller/buyer to be protected under their policy. So logically, a vehicle can't be shipped using the required electronic tracking system because it can't be placed inside a box nor an envelope!  Form of payments: Personal checks (once cleared), bank transfer, cashier's checks (once verified), or cash! I will be glad to assist with shipping arrangements and can even refer you to a trusted transportation company that I personally use, but all costs are buyer's responsibility. No Warranties Whatsoever, sold as is. If you are going to need more than 7 days to collect the vehicle let me know in advance so that I can coordinate things with the owner. Know that I always try to be as accommodating as much as I can, but communication is the key! Also, keep in mind that I am listing vehicles for others, and on very rare occasions a seller has changed his mind or sold the vehicle to someone else during the listing process. Again, this is a far between scenario, but it has happened before, so please keep this remote possibility in mind when deciding to bid in this listing. Feel free to contact me with any questions via email or at 727.522.2531

TO MEMBERS: I am not a dealer, I provide a service to individuals in need of listing their particular vehicles unless stated above. Most of the people that I list for; don't know how to use a computer, don't have the time, and/or don't want the aggravation. I do not take possession of the vehicle nor the title, I just list for them. It's important to express that I just don't list anybody, I check all paperwork, examine items, and test them myself including driving them if applicable. If I don't feel comfortable with the item, or individual I will pass on the opportunity! I consider myself mechanically inclined, and have a very good eye for paint finish, bodywork, etc, for I used to work for a restoration shop back in my days while attending college!  Satisfied eBay members is the most important part of any listing transaction that I make. As much as one tries to best describe or list issues about any particular vehicle, it's impossible to account for all possible things that can go wrong with a machinery. It will probably be a good idea to have the vehicle inspected before the end of auction to be 100% sure. Know that I will always try to list as accurate as possible in order to avoid unnecessary issues. Of course it's always challenging to satisfy all members all the time, but I will try to do my best in continuing enjoying my current feedback status with your help! If there's a problem or concerned with your purchase, please allow me the opportunity to address it before leaving a negative feedback! I will do everything in my power to make sure that you are satisfied, within reason of course! So, bid with confidence and contact me with any questions!

Cadillac toned down ATS Coupe design due to customer feedback [w/poll]

Tue, 02 Sep 2014

Automakers always face a difficult decision when it comes to styling their cars. Design them too blandly and nobody will get excited about them. But style them too aggressively and they'll often end up turning off potential buyers.
Cadillac, for its part, is no stranger to aggressive design, but when it came to the new ATS Coupe, it elected to tone things down a bit. Speaking with The Detroit News in a wide-ranging interview, Cadillac design director Bob Boniface revealed that the original design for its compact coupe was edgier - closer to that of the CTS Coupe - with a wedgier profile, a more steeply raked beltline and a more severe grille. But potential customers surveyed in clinics apparently didn't like it. They found it looked heavy, inefficient and not fun to drive. So Boniface and his team literally went back to the drawing board and "took as much visual mass out of the car as [they] could." The resulting coupe, while handsome, looks far more similar to its four-door companion than did Cadillac's CTS.
What do you think, does the new ATS Coupe look just right, or is it too conservative? Voice your opinion in our quick online poll.

Don Draper's 1965 Cadillac Coupe de Ville up for auction

Mon, Aug 3 2015

Few have ever nor ever will embody the sheer confidence and style of Don Draper, the main character on the hit AMC drama Mad Men. But if you can't quite match his style, at least you can drive his car. Now that the series has now concluded its eight-year run, the studio behind it is selling off a whole mess of artifacts from the show through ScreenBid, a specialist Hollywood memorabilia auctioneer. There's a good 1,300 lots up for grabs, from props to costumes. But the lot that's caught our attention is this 1965 Cadillac Coupe de Ville. Don picked this car up in the fifth season and drove it until the penultimate episode. These are the wheels he (spoiler alert!) drove across the country, got repaired in Oklahoma, and ultimately gave to a kid working at the motel before making his way by bus to the Bonneville Salt Flats in the final episode. At the time of writing, bidding had reached $25,000 with four days still to go. Cadillac first used the de Ville as a trim level on the Series 62 before spinning it off into its own model line. 1965 was the first year of the third-generation de Ville, stretching a massive 224 inches (over 18 and a half feet!) long. Powering over 4,600 pounds of personal American luxury was an equally massive 7.0-liter V8 that drove 340 horsepower through a three-speed automatic transmission. The name wasn't retired until 2005 when the final DeVille (as it was styled by then) was replaced by the DTS, which itself was shorthand for DeVille Touring Sedan. Cadillac produced the last DTS in 2011, finally putting to rest a name that had, in one form or another, been used since 1949. Few cars had the kind of presence that the third-gen Coupe de Ville did, though, and Draper knew it. Or at least the show's producers did.

2019 Lincoln Nautilus vs 2018 Cadillac XT5: How they compare on paper

Fri, Jun 29 2018

There will no doubt be endless ads touting the "first-ever" 2019 Lincoln Nautilus, which is accurate, but it's really just a mid-cycle update of an existing midsize luxury SUV attached to a greatly welcomed name change. Frankly, Lincoln could've called it the Diamond Jubilee Bill Blass and it would've been an improvement. Whatever. The MKX is dead. Long live the Nautilus. Now, speaking of SUVs with silly alphanumeric names, the 2018 Cadillac XT5 lines up remarkably well with the 2018 MKX. Besides hailing from American luxury brands, they have virtually identical exterior dimensions and similar standard engines as well. Cross-shopping seems assured. But what does the change to the 2019 Nautilus mean for how it compares to the XT5? Cosmetic changes might tweak exterior dimensions by a tenth of an inch here or there, but the interior should remain the same. The Nautilus gets a new engine, though, so check out our spreadsheet below to see if America's (and Canada's) luxury SUVs still stack up. Conclusions The switch to a turbocharged four-cylinder base engine means the XT5 and MKX/Nautilus are no longer on equal terms under the hood. While the Cadillac now has a considerable power advantage, the Lincoln Nautilus could save you hundreds every year based on its likely fuel economy (the 2.0-liter turbo engine, albeit with a different transmission, is in the mechanically similar Ford Edge). Besides the new engine for 2019, the Nautilus also gains an eight-speed automatic and an automatic stop start system. Both of those elements are already included on the XT5. It was announced that the 2019 Nautilus will start at $41,335, which compares to the base MKX at $39,960 and the 2018 Cadillac XT5 at $41,590. In other words, the Lincoln is still less expensive, but just barely. Standard feature content is also comparable, especially as the Nautilus gains standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which are already standard on the XT5. So really, no matter what they're called, the Cadillac and Lincoln should continue to be neck-and-neck competitors. 2019 Lincoln Nautilus Photos View 20 Photos 2018 Cadillac XT5 Photos View 28 Photos 2018 Lincoln MKX Photos View 57 Photos Related Video: Cadillac Lincoln Car Buying Crossover SUV Luxury Comparison consumer cadillac xt5 lincoln nautilus
