What a pleasant surprise!
We sold a gentleman, Marty, a Sebring convertible 3 years
ago.
He's a retired felony warrant officer from Hastings
Minnesota.
Last week he returned, saying he gave it to his grandson
who's off to college
and he needs another condo car for his winter home in
Florida.
![]()
The surprise was
that his "baby"...a 1988 Brougham.. is about 13" too
long for his condo's garage.
![]()
We were able to make a trade with him and he drove away in a
Diamond Edition 2001 Cadillac Deville and we got his "baby"!!
![]()
Now
we're offering it to you.
![]()
Certainly not
perfect, but boy does this one drive out nice, BRAND
NEW TIRES,
everything works just as it should and at 70 mph she
really does get 22 mpg's and she's rear wheel drive
too. Nice..

The carriage top
is very nice with no tears, chrome accents are all
in great shape as are the pristine Cadillac factory
Chrome hubcaps, mated to the brand new tires Marty
just had installed before he came down.
![]()
![]()
Marty is 73
years old and a non smoker and he kept it here in
the winter and sometimes in Minnesota in the
summer. Meticulously maintained mechanically and
you can tell.
![]()
![]()
Not sure where
you could find a nicer one, CLOTH, 5 liter V8,
and new tires with all power options functioning
great, and it is with pleasure we offer it to you.
![]()
![]()
Cosmetically it's
very sharp, but @ 25 years old it has to have a few
blems.
![]()
Probably the only item of note is the trunk lid and hood.
Looks like original paint, definitely garaged, but still
starting to show some thinning and fade.
I do not think you would want to paint it, unless you might be using as a
part time show car/daily driver.

****PLEASE
READ BEFORE BIDDING****
-
We ask
that all successful bidders please contact me within 24
hours of auction end to begin process of completing the
sale. Please do not make a bid on my car if you have no
intention of buying it. Time is precious, let's not waste
each other's. We promise to be fair to you, please do the
same for us.
-
All vehicles are
sold "as-is" with no warranty expressed or implied. Buyer
assumes all responsibility once vehicle leaves our
possession. The vehicle will be described accurately, but
remember these are used cars, they will show signs as such.
You are not bidding on brand new cars, so there may be parts
of the vehicle that are not brand new. We are sure this is
obvious to most people, but we just want it to be perfectly
clear. We will do our best to describe all the obvious and
important things so you have a good idea of what you are
buying. With advance notice we will make our vehicles
available for a PRE-BID inspection. This must be completed
prior to bidding.
We are an appointment only dealership. Please just
either email or contact us by phone when making an
appointment to view a vehicle or to pick up one you have
purchased. Thanks so much.
-
All
vehicles 10 or more years old are sold exempt from mileage
guarantees unless specifically mentioned. If we have
documentation to back up the miles on these older cars, we
will.
-
Payment will be made by cashiers check, money order or wire
transfer. A $500 dollar non- refundable deposit (PayPal
preferred) must be received within 3 business days following
close of auction and remainder paid in 7 days.
-
Florida residents must include 6% sales tax. According to
Florida law, if an out-of-state purchaser takes delivery of
a vehicle in the state of Florida we are obligated as a
licensed dealer to collect sales tax at a rate equal to the
purchasers state sales tax. The purchaser will then be given
a receipt proving tax paid to present to their tax
collectors office for sales tax credit. This does not apply
to vehicles shipped out of state, only ones picked up in
Florida.
-
Buyer assumes the cost of shipping and insurance. We already
have contacts to ship the vehicle anywhere in the U.S.A. and
will be glad to arrange this for you, and give you cost
estimate ahead of time. If you are going to fly in, we will
arrange transportation from the Ft. Myers International
Airport.
-
All

you would like documentation, contact us, and we will gladly
get it for you.
-
Remember you are entering into a legally binding contract.
WE WILL GIVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK ON ANY FINAL BIDDER THAT
REFUSES TO HONOR HIS OR HER OBLIGATION!!!
-
Because of our local customers, we must reserve the right to
cancel any auction early. This will be rare because we want
to give everyone a fair chance. So don't be afraid to bid.
-
As with
any preowned vehicle, personal preference is a factor.
Please consider and expect to invest a few hundred dollars
into your new car, catering it to your individual tastes
and requirements. We do try our very best to objectively
describe our offerings and welcome your emails and phone
inquiries. Again, Thank You.
-
Please use Paypal for $500 deposits only. It assists in
controlling our costs and can be accessed by logging in

WARREN, Mich. — Today, General Motors held an “EV Day” event at its Warren, Michigan, campus to present its new “Ultium” battery technology, modular electric vehicle architecture and soon-to-come electric vehicles. Unfortunately, we were forbidden from bringing cameras into the event, so while we canÂ’t show you what we saw, we can tell you more about it. While we saw the previously teased Cadillac EV (which we now know to be called the Lyriq) and the GMC Hummer pickup teased during the Super Bowl, there were a number of other future cars at the event, which GM President Mark Reuss assured us are all real vehicles in the works. The biggest surprise came at the end of the event, though, in the Cadillac Celestiq electric sedan, which Reuss described as a future flagship that would be hand-built “very locally.” It had been hiding under a dark sheet all morning, with the front and rear illuminated Cadillac emblems shining from underneath. When the wraps came off, we saw a long, white, four-seat fastback sedan. The 23-inch wheels were pushed out to the very corners of the car, giving it what appeared to be a very long wheelbase. The model on the stage had no side mirrors or visible door handles. The grille mirrored that of the Lyriq crossover next to it, with integrated lighting in lieu of the usual mesh or slats youÂ’d see in an internal combustion car. The entire roof, all the way until it tapered to the tail of the vehicle, was tinted glass. In back, vertical tail lighting ran down the C-pillar before turning rearward across the top of the trunk. Inside, everything below the beltline of the windows — essentially all but the headrests and top portion of the steering wheel, was hidden from view. Behind the Celestiq, a large digital display showed a rendering of its interior. The dash consists of a pillar-to-pillar curved LED display serving as both instrument panel and infotainment system. Protruding forward between the front seats was another touchscreen that appeared to house some more controls, with open area, probably for storage, below it. The rear seats had the same sort of touchscreen between them. Built into the back of the front seats were a pair of rear-seat entertainment screens, much like we saw in the Lyriq. The door panels blended wood, metal and animated lighting to give character and a sense of opulence. GM interior design manager Tristan Murphy was on hand to tell us a bit more about the Celestiq.

Compact luxury sedans are fast becoming the trend among upscale automakers. Mercedes has the new CLA (and its many platform-mates), BMW has the 1 Series and 2 Series, Audi has the A3 and, though Lexus apparently isn't interested in anything smaller than its CT 200h, Infiniti is getting in on the action with a compact model of its own. It would only follow logically, then, that Cadillac should launch a competitor, and according to the latest reports, that's just what it has in store. Speaking with Car and Driver, Cadillac marketing chief Uwe Ellinghaus confirmed that such a project is in the works. But unlike its rivals, Cadillac aims to go with a rear-wheel-drive layout. This despite research that apparently indicates that a surprising 80 percent of owners think that their BMW 1 Series is front-drive. It's the driving dynamics and styling proportions that motivate Ellinghaus and his colleagues to stick with rear-drive, however. The new model would in all likelihood be based on the same GM Alpha architecture that underpins the ATS and CTS - a platform that has helped Cadillac keep the weight down on both models and which is expected to underpin the next-generation Chevy Camaro, as well. The sub-ATS could be positioned as a four-door 2+2, however, as the ATS grows a little larger in its next iteration in order to make room for its new baby brother.

Lincoln and Cadillac grabbed the spotlight this week at the New York Auto Show in a dramatic fashion that evoked the brands' glory days. America's two luxury carmakers went toe-to-toe with their glittering reveals and plans for ambitious expansion. Both were selling their technology, style and the promise of a better future. Cadillac vs. Lincoln. At the Javits Center, 2015 seemed a lot like 1956. Neither company was interested in drawing comparisons with the other, which is fair, and accurate. They're in vastly different places in terms of sales and the pace of their turnarounds, but they hope to reach the same eventual destination at the pinnacle of the luxury-car world. Lincoln used the element of surprise to great effect with the Continental concept. A production version is still at least a year away, and the company was vague on details. Officially, we don't even know if it is front- or rear-wheel drive, though speculation abounds. Who cares? The seats can be adjusted 30 ways! The Continental also showed off a bold chrome grille that will be the new face of Lincoln. The blue bomber also rolled on blinged-out 21-inch polished aluminum wheels, used a 3.0-liter EcoBoost engine and had huge LED head lights with "laser-assisted" high beams. All of this resulted in almost blinding attention. The concept drew rave reviews, stirred controversy with Bentley designers who argued Lincoln ripped them off, and most importantly, pointed a way forward for the newly determined brand that hopes to compete with Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Cadillac and Lexus. View 32 Photos Meanwhile, Cadillac showed the CT6, a finished product that will top its range and is loaded with the best and latest technologies General Motors has at its disposal. With production starting late this year, Cadillac had more specifics at the ready. Engines? Cadillac has a couple V6s and a turbo four for sure. It's working on a hybrid, and has considered a V-Series variant. It's based on a new rear-wheel-drive, aluminum-intensive chassis called Omega, features an advanced collision-mitigation system with automatic braking and has a cabin that's laden with "leathers, exotic woods and carbon fiber." It will be assembled at GM's Detroit-Hamtramck factory and goes on sale next year. At this point, Cadillac is more than willing to talk about every except for the price. The devil was not in the details for Cadillac, as evidenced by the CT6. But it wasn't for Lincoln either.
