CADILLAC LOVERS LOOK NO FURTHER--- HERE IS A GEM!!! Title in Hand! 1976 CADILLAC COUPE DEVILLE - 1 OWNER- 42K ACTUAL-
Up for auction is this very nice TOTALLY ORIGINAL 1976 CADILLAC COUPE DEVILLE w/ 42,250 Actual/Original MILES - One owner car (same family, went to trust after original owner died, but again been with the same family since new with proof)
The MOTOR: this car is equipped with the 8.2L V8 500CI Rear Wheel Drive that has ONLY 42,250 ORIGINAL MILES (not even broke inn yet) - and this car runs and drives like new, power is all there and the transmission shifts smooth! Everything about this car is totally ORIGINAL, nothing aftermarket or added later- the car starts up everytime and you can drive anywhere anytime! The ELECTRICAL is ALL GOOD ALSO- lights and signals work just fine as well as gages on dash!
The POWER OPTIONS: Power windows, power locks, power driver seat, tilt wheel, AC, glove box trunk release, powered trunk when closing, all of these Powered Options WORK and the powered trunk you never find working yet it does! AM-FM Cassette and radio (radio does work)
The INTERIOR: the white leather seats are rip, stain and tear free! The red/ crushed red colored carpet is almost new looking (no flaws), the Original Red Colored Floor mats are still in the car and house the Cadillac Symbol (see pics) they too are also like new condition! The Headliner is like new as well; its unreal how nice it is actually, no rips, tears, or stains in the headliner; it is nicely intact and shows no signs of age or sagging! the doors both have one medium sized slit/crack (see pic) but not bad at all- The Window seals are tight and have no leaking or issues to address. The dash board is amazing, looking like it did in 1976 when bought new! The glove box works and operates properly housing a trunk release button and the ORIGINAL PAPERWORK from when bought new. This car has been smoke free since day one (obvious) - the steering wheel looks mint still and literally has no signs of age or over use! Its hard to believe because of its original condition and age how NICE the interior actually is! But to see it is to believe it because its so very obvious- NO INTERIOR disappointments here at all!!
The EXTERIOR: Hard to complain about this cars exterior at all, very very few issues but im gonna share them with you all- This car is a head turner and stands very tall!!! Proud to be seen in it and everyone always compliments us as we cruise around Southern Indianapolis --- This Caddy has ALWAYS BEEN GARAGE KEPT and again its OBVIOUS-the car is straight as an arrow with no body damage at all to mention, NO RUST AT ALL however there are like 3 small surface spots (quarter size literally., see pics) the 3 spots I am referring to are on the drivers side right below the small back seat window, these spots are honestly small and not even noticed at all unless standing 3 foot away or closer; again see pics to be clear- these spots are very surface and easily fixed! Also on the drivers door half way down right above the chrome trim piece there is a few small scratches not to bad at all actually (see pics) The cars Antenna works like new and goes up and down at choice via a button inside (another power feature) the chrome base piece around the bottom of antenna is missing (been gone for years now)- Finally, the rear clip! The rear clips on these cars are notorious for this- kinda discolored because GM didn't use the same body material (rubber made and dry out) the reason GM did this was for safety purposes its rubber because its known as an impact area - its not real bad by any means but it is clear to see and the rear clip has some cracks in it (the rear clip is not part of the body, instead its a totally separate piece itself) (see pics)--- the rear light fixture is missing the left side chrome wrap, the right is there to see what im referring to. (see pics) the Original Hood Emblem is nicely intact and stands Cadillac Tall!!! Also the underbody and frame are nice; rust free and again always garage kept (this car was rustproofed when bought new, hint the level of exterior quality) the exhaust is solid and also rust free and showing no signs of issues at all- Nice exterior overall for sure!
Overall on a scale of 1 to 10 I personally rate this car a SOLID NINE (9) needs very little help to be showroom worthy! Hard to find a Cadillac today that is A- totally ORIGINAL B- been cared for by the same family its entire life (obviously well cared for, its shows to see) C- has Original Miles 42k D- needs ZERO interior work etc etc - I could keep going on and on about the level of quality here!

2020 Cadillac CT5-V, CT4-V to be revealed next week
Thu, May 23 2019Even though the ATS-V and CTS-V are on the way out, the future is looking bright for Cadillac's high-performance sub-brand. Why is that? Well we're going to see not one, but two all-new V models on May 30. The company revealed its plans to show the 2020 Cadillac CT5-V and the CT4-V in an announcement about 15 years of the V brand. Not much is known about either car, but both should be wickedly quick based on their predecessors. We're particularly curious as to what engines will be used. With the CT5-V, a return of a supercharged pushrod V8 seems possible considering the CT5 is based on the Alpha platform that also underpins the Camaro. But Cadillac may want to push its more unique powertrains such as the twin-turbo, double-overhead-cam 4.2-liter V8 in the CT6-V. In the CT6-V, it makes 550 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque. Cadillac's former CEO said that other cars getting the engine will have it 500 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque. We think the company could get away with the full power in the CT5-V, though, since each car's mission and character is different. There's also a slim chance we could see a return of the manual transmission for the midsize sports sedan, based on what a Cadillac engineer said. As for the CT4-V, there are more questions, simply because we haven't even seen the regular version yet except in spy shots. Since the CT5 is built off the Alpha platform, it seems reasonable to think the CT4 will do the same, especially since the ATS also used the platform. And to leave space between the CT5-V and itself, using a hot version of the twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 seems like the most likely choice. The hot V6 in the ATS-V made 464 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque, so we would expect the same. Hopefully Cadillac will offer a manual with it again. One final note from the Cadillac V announcement also got our attention. It said that these two cars are "just the beginning." That seems a pretty obvious sign there are other V models in the works. Since the CT4 and CT5 will round out the company's car line, the logical next choice would probably be crossovers. It will be interesting to see what an XT4-V or XT5-V will be like, especially since they use front-drive platforms. But in the meantime, we'll look forward to Cadillac's hot sedans.

2018 Cadillac CT6 Drivers' Notes | Super Cruiser
Fri, Dec 1 2017The 2018 Cadillac CT6 showcases General Motors' impressive Super Cruise feature. It's the next milestone on the way to an autonomous future, though GM is being conservative about promoting Super Cruise's considerable prowess. It helps the driver, GM says. Does it work? Our editors have been testing one this week as the calendar turns and the temperatures drop in Michigan. Also, the CT6 is a really nice car. Here's what we think. Senior Editor, Green, John Beltz Snyder: Super Cruise, man. On Wednesday night, I rode home in a 2018 Cadillac CT6 with Super Cruise. I say "rode," but I was sitting in the driver's seat. I spent more time with my hands off the steering wheel than on it. It was super relaxing. Once I got on the highway, I set the cruise control, waited for the steering wheel icon to show up on the instrument cluster, and hit the button on the steering wheel that looked like a steering wheel (pretty meta, to be honest). The top section of the wheel illuminated in a green arc, and I felt the weight of the steering lift as the car began driving itself. I put my feet flat on the floor, rested my hands on my knees, and just watched the road while listening to a podcast ("The Dollop," if you were wondering). To be honest, I had trouble concentrating on the audio, as my thoughts were captivated by the way the car managed the road and traffic around me. Sure, I had to change lanes on my own and take over steering on interchanges and surface streets, but when the AI took the reins, it had my complete confidence. Perhaps just as surprising, the CT6 was also a blast to drive manually. It felt super smooth, with plenty of power and poise. I enjoyed bending it through 50-mph curves almost as much as I enjoyed being driven. Almost. Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore: Super Cruise just works. I was blown away how easy it was to use and how well it just did what it was supposed to do. Merging into the teeth of rush hour traffic in metro Detroit, I braced for the worst. I figured I'd be stuck in bumper-to-bumper gridlock and Super Cruise would never get deployed. Frankly, I was cynical Super Cruise would work. But then I was able to hit the 70-mph speed limit and figured, well, let's just see about this thing. Like John, I did the two-steps to set up SC, and boom, it worked. It trailed the cars in front of me at a proper distance. It braked naturally to a stop and then resumed speed. It slowed down when a Jeep Grand Cherokee cut me off.
