FOR SALE IS A 1966 CADILLAC 2 DOOR COUPE DE VILLE! PERHAPS THE BEST DEAL ON EBAY WHEN FIGURED BY POUNDS OF CAR PER DOLLAR!

MAKE NO MISTAKE THIS IS A BIIIIGGG VEHICLE!

18 FEET LONG AND A LITTLE OVER 6 FEET WIDE TO BE EXACT!

This car has original paint and the original interior.

All the glass is there and is believed to be original as well. The front windshield has a small crack on the PASSENGER side on the OUTSIDE of the glass. So it does not interfere with driving vision. There is no fogging on the glass..which is rare with a vehicle this old.

All the lights are good. This car was made with a very cool feature in which the turn signal indicators are on the front fenders. They work fine as well as the headlights and tail lights.

The radio has power but just comes through as static. The power seat does not work but clicks.

The odometer reads 16000 miles...but we believe this to be inaccurate and 116k to be the actual miles.

The interior is pretty roomy as you can imagine.

You could easily road trip across the country and never need a hotel for a bed to sleep in! But seriously..this car is VERY roomy. You can play paper football in it. Headliner and door panels are good, carpet appears to be original.

This car runs and drives smooth...will start right up and purrs like a kitten once it is started. I was startled by how quiet it is.

This car shifts well and has 340 horses to coast it along. It has all new brakes and brake lines to stop the momentum.

The caddy is fairly solid all around save a few surface rust spots (It has lived in Ohio after all) The most egregious rust is on the drivers side rear quarter panel. This panel is also a little loose. Floors and trunk are solid.

This is on the rare side as it is a 2 door and would look FANTASTIC with 20 inch wheels and a candy paint job..OR restored to original condition. But as is it will drive you where you need to go and will make you look good while doing it.

All in all this is a car that will grow on you the more you see it and ride in it. Reliable and roomy and will get you where you need to go.

I am selling this car FOR a dealership called Coachworks Upon auctions end buyer has 24 hours to make deposit of $500.00 via paypal, credit or debit card or cash in person. I will contact you immediately by email and through Ebay and leave a number for you to call if you have any questions.

After deposit is received buyer will have 7 days to pay the remainder of the balance via the aforementioned ways.  I apologize but we can no longer accept wire transfers or personal checks. 2022 Chevy Suburban, Tahoe, GMC Yukon, Cadillac Escalade up another $1,600

Tue, May 31 2022

The 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, the 2022 GMC Yukon and the 2022 Cadillac Escalade have all gone up by $1,600. The GM profit and loss department added $1,500 to the MSRP for each of the full-sized SUVs and $100 to their destination charges, that destination fee now $1,795 for each vehicle. It's not an inconsequential bump; however, considering where the trucks were priced at launch, and everything that's happened since, the latest retail prices don't seem that bad. Take the Suburban — in February 2020, Chevrolet practically carried over pricing for the truck with a revamped interior and independent rear suspension, starting it at $50,295 after destination. After this latest increase, the 2022 Tahoe LS in two-wheel drive costs $55,590, after destination.  The delta between the 2021 Suburban at launch in March 2020 and the current model is a little grander compared to the Tahoe, like the SUV itself. Back then, it started at $52,295, the same price as the outgoing model. After this third price increase in the past year, the 2022 Suburban LS in 2WD starts at $61,290 after destination. GM Authority says the 2023 Tahoe and Suburban are reportedly headed down production lines in the middle of July. The biggest addition to both models will be the availability of Super Cruise, which is already available on the sister SUV, the Cadillac Escalade. The hands-free driving assistance feature can only be optioned on the Premier and High Country trims. It costs $2,500 to put Super Cruise on the Escalade. GM hasn't divulged the feature's price yet for the Chevy twins; that's likely to come when the automaker announces 2023 Tahoe and Suburban MSRPs, so beware of more potential price increases. After that, there's a heavy refresh planned for the 2024 model year, including a new instrument panel design that looks like it replaces the current gauge cluster with a large, freestanding screen.  The Yukon's entry-level price goes up to $57,590 for the SLE trim turning the rear axle.   The Cadillac Escalade's second MSRP bump takes it to $81,235 for the Luxury 600 trim in 2WD, and $84,235 for the extended ESV model in the same trim. The price creep hasn't stopped Escalades from pulling off dealer lots almost as soon as they're delivered, sales for the first quarter of the year totaling 10,505 units, trouncing domestic and foreign competition. Why does this Cadillac fob seem to be for a mid-engine roadster?

Thu, Nov 8 2018

Is GM bringing back its Caddied-up Corvette sibling, the Cadillac XLR — only this time based on the mid-engine Corvette? That's the question posed by photos of a wedge-shaped Cadillac key fob someone provided to The Drive. The buttons show a trunk — and also a frunk. So, mid-engine, unless the fob goes with an EV that has its motors and other electrical bits scattered to the wheels and elsewhere. Also, there's a button to operate a droptop. And the car profile on the fob is Corvette-like. All of which makes for some pretty great speculation. Except that Cadillac's way back from the failures of its sedan-centric lineup was thought to be through SUVs such as the new XT4 compact crossover, the XT5 and the somewhere-in-testing three-row XT6. Plus, the XLR, which was produced between 2003 and 2009, hit its sales peak in 2005 of just 3,730 cars, or about one-tenth the sales volume of the Corvette. So it's hard to imagine there's a vast untapped market out there for the luxury roadster — plus the XLR's demographic of well-to-do grandpas is dying off, or at least thinks it is. So a resurrected XLR would seem to be an unlikely savior. A lot's happening with GM's luxury brand — the debut of the XT4 at long last, a new boss, a thinning of the sedan herd but expansion of the V's, a backtrack to Detroit after its New York sojourn, the cash-cow Escalade under direct assault from the fine new Lincoln Navigator, and the impressive performance of its Super Cruise technology. But an XLR? So what is this fob's story? The Drive speculates it's a universal test fob and the buttons don't necessarily mean a thing, or that somebody stuck a Caddy emblem on it just to yank our chains. Who's to say. What would you like it to mean? Related Video:

2016 Cadillac ATS-V First Drive [w/video]

Sun, Apr 26 2015

If you get hot and bothered for hot-rodded sedans and coupes, you probably know that Germans have long dominated that cutthroat scene. For years, the Audi RS/BMW M/Mercedes-AMG triumvirate has ruled the microcosm of grunty, mid-level luxury cars. But a funny thing happened when Cadillac's first V car hit the market in 2004. Since the CTS-V crashed the high horsepower party, German tuning houses started thinking less about the "Daddy's Caddy" stereotypes and more about the next imminent threat – in this case, the inevitable high-horsepower spinoff of the smaller, nimbler Cadillac ATS. The standard ATS' defense against the German triad hasn't been triumphant so far (GM's Michigan plant was idled for three weeks in 2014 due to excess inventory), but the souped-up 2016 Cadillac ATS-V presents a fresh bid to put the Teutonic competition on alert. The ATS-V's flared bodywork and quad exhaust pipes offer bits of visual shock and awe, but significant hardware upgrades back up the go-fast looks. Front and center is a twin-turbocharged, 3.6-liter V6 with reworked internals including a charge-air cooler, titanium connecting rods, and titanium-aluminide turbines. The new engine produces 464 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque, up a staggering 262 hp and 173 lb-ft compared to a base, four-cylinder ATS. Those output figures eclipse the BMW M3/M4 (425 hp, 406 lb-ft) and Audi RS5 (450 hp, 317 lb-ft), but lag slightly behind the V8-powered Mercedes-AMG C63 (476 hp, 479 lb-ft), and more so the C63 S (503 hp, 516 lb-ft). The chassis benefits from several structural braces, most notably a shear panel intended to boost front-end stiffness. Extra poundage from the add-ons are minimized through lighter-weight materials – in the case of the shear panel, stamped aluminum. Cadillac says though it intended to make the ATS the quickest car in its segment (stated 0-60 mph times between 3.8 and 3.9 second virtually match the BMW M4 and Mercedes-AMG C63 S' 3.9 figure), the development team says they also focused on subjective qualities like turn-in quickness and steering response. As such, toe links have been replaced with ball joints, mounts have been retuned, and reworked magnetic damping offer greater responsiveness. Six suspension bushings have been stiffened and ten have been completely redesigned, and the Performance Traction Management system that tames beasts like the Corvette Z06 and Camaro ZL1 also helps lay down power in the ATS-V.
