My wife and I are selling our 2009 CTS-V with under 38,000 miles, a manual transmission, Recaro racing seats, Corsa exhaust, and tech package (touchscreen nav, aux hook up, etc.). We are only selling to buy something different and do not need to sell. The car is paid off with a clean NY title. I love the V but my wife wants something more "exotic". The car has under 38K miles on it but it does get driven maybe twice a week so let me know if you want an exact mileage. It is kept indoors and not brought out when there is salt on the road. The interior is a 9.5 and exterior is a 9 out of 10. There are four brand new tires with less than 1000 miles and no curb rash on the rims, I do also have a transferable rim and tire warranty with over 2.5 years left on it that I will sell for an additional $250, plus the company has a $50 processing fee. Two key FOBs come with it but one of the actual keys is broken in one, it does not affect the key-less entry and start. You will also get the stock exhaust and any other items I have for the car such as the owners manual. There are NO mechanical issues at all and never have been. Mobil one and premium gas have always been used. What you see is what you get, I am not hiding anything. I will not arrange shipping, you can have anyone you want pick the car up after payment has cleared. Once the auction ends and the car sells I will not drive it, it ill stay in the garage under the car cover for up to two weeks, then after that it will sit at the bottom of my driveway until it is picked up. This is an EXTREMELY nice car but if you want a showroom car then you should probably go pay the showroom price. GM announces 6 recalls covering nearly 720k cars
Wed, 23 Jul 2014General Motors has announced yet another sprawling recall campaign, with six separate elements covering 717,950 vehicles on US roads. At this point in 2014, it's starting to seem like there are more days with a GM recall than without. Perhaps most troubling about this latest volley, though, is that every vehicle is from the past few years, indicating that GM's quality woes may not be limited to pre-bankruptcy vehicles.
The largest element of this latest campaign covers 414,333 units, and includes the 2011 to 2012 Chevrolet Camaro, 2010 to 2012 Chevy Equinox, GMC Terrain and Cadillac SRX and the 2011 to 2012 Buick Regal and LaCrosse. Only vehicles with powered, height-adjustable seats are covered. In these particular cars and crossovers, the bolt that secures the height adjuster actuator may loosen of its own accord and in some cases fall out completely. If this happens, the seats will be able to move both up and down. GM claims the vehicles are safe to drive, provided drivers don't vertically adjust their seats. This particular issue has caused one crash and three injuries.

Cadillac highlights craftsmanship in latest Escalade teaser videos
Wed, 25 Sep 2013Cadillac, in case you haven't heard, is unveiling the new Escalade on October 7, completing the redesign of General Motors' large SUV range. The event is proceeding with the regular degree of "teasers" and "leaked images" that is typical of the automotive world, nowadays.
As the new Escalade's reveal date grows closer, Cadillac is trumping up interest for the new SUV, debuting five short teaser videos on its YouTube channel. While not showing much about the Escalade itself, the spots reveal plenty about its materials. Real wood and hand-stitched leather are highlighted, while we get another glimpse of the Escalade's vertically oriented headlights. Take a look below for all five spots.
Cadillac snags de Nysschen from Infiniti, names him new president
Fri, 11 Jul 2014Johan de Nysschen, the (now former) president of Infiniti, has officially jumped ship. The 54-year-old, who also spent time as the chief executive for Audi USA, has taken the position of president at Cadillac, following a two-year stint at the Nissan-owned luxury brand. In his new role, the 54-year-old will be responsible "for all aspects of Cadillac globally," according to a statement from General Motors.
"Johan brings to our company vast experience in the development and proper execution of luxury automotive brands," said GM President Dan Ammann, de Nysschen's new boss. "With over 20 years in this exact space, especially in the development of the Audi brand, his track record proves he is the perfect executive to lead Cadillac for the long term."
"I have for some time now been impressed by how the new General Motors has been transformed into a formidable force in the industry," de Nysschen said in a statement. "The combination of strong corporate leadership and exceptional engineering resources presents the perfect combination to restore Cadillac to its place among global premium brands."
