Hard to find 2005 Cadillac STS V8 (320 hp) AWD (125,000 miles) with Navigation, Adaptive Cruise, Heads-up Display, Keyless Entry with push button start, Bluetooth, Satellite Radio, Remote start, and 300-watt 15 Speaker Bose Surround Sound system with MP3 capability. ONLY ONE LIKE THIS SELLING IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY (just search 2005 STS with V8, AWD, Adaptive Cruise, and nothing will come up!) For those not familiar with Cadillac Heads-up-display, this is a really cool feature and one of the main reason I bought this particular car; it actually projects a hologram type of image out in front of the driver just above the front edge of the car, thus allowing you to see important info without having to look down or refocus your eyes. It shows speed, climate control, navigation information, radio information, and RPM and gear info when in manual shift mode. This car is loaded with every option except engine block heater. Just some of the more expensive options are: 18" wheels, Magnetic Ride Control, Intellibeam (auto high beam), Magnasteer, DVD Entertainment System, Xenon High Intensity headlights, memory seats, heated/ventilated front seats, heated back seats, heated steering wheel, power sunroof, rain sense wipers, auto headlight cleaner, rear spoiler, tire pressure monitoring system, new tires, recently tuned up (see below), drives great; will easily go another 100,000 miles (tune ups on this engine are scheduled every 100,000 miles!) Everything works great. Body is in great condition except for small passenger door dent (hard to see in pictures) and cracked passenger door window. Pricing this car below kbb "good" value primarily because of dent and cracked passenger door window. Clean carfax. PLUS - Over $2,500 worth of maintenance done at 100,000 mile tune up!: 1) New Ignition Coils 2) New Spark Plugs 3) New Oxygen Sensors 4) New Coolant Temp. Sensor 5) Coolant Flush 6) Replaced Motor Mount 7) And of course had oil change 8) Transmission Flush Car being sold AS IS. |

Cadillac confirms CT8/CT9 flagship, ELR successor
Fri, 10 Oct 2014Cadillac has certainly been a hot topic as of late, what with Johan de Nysschen now running the joint, moving its headquarters to New York, and overhauling the company's naming structure (only to later publicly defend all of these drastic decisions). Now, looking ahead, de Nysschen is already revealing some details about what's in store for the future, including a raft of new products that include a large, long-wheelbase Mercedes-Benz S-Class rival positioned above the recently announced CT6, along with a successor to the slow-selling ELR coupe.
In an interview with Reuters, de Nysschen says his company has "just signed off on" a new flagship tipped to be called CT8 or CT9. It will compete with the long-wheelbase versions of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and BMW 7 Series, and should come to market by the end of this decade.
Among other news, the South African executive said a followup to the ELR plug-in hybrid is in development, though it may not be a two-door coupe like the current car. That's not necessarily a bad thing, since the ELR has garnered nothing but slow sales and poor reviews since its launch.
Cadillac Lyriq EV debut delayed by Covid-19 virus
Tue, Mar 10 2020The, coronavirus, otherwise dubbed Covid-19, has claimed another large gathering. General Motors canceled the public debut of its coming Cadillac Lyriq crossover, planned for April 2 in Los Angeles, due to fears over the continued spread of the virus. With more than 14 confirmed cases of residents with Covid-19, Los Angeles declared a state of emergency last week. Michael Albano, a communications director at GM, said in an e-mail to The Verge that "Our top priority is the safety of our media guests and employees." At the time of writing there's no word on a potential new date for the reveal for the highly anticipated crossover that GM just announced last week at a private event in Warren, Michigan. However, the automaker provided Autoblog with a statement that read, in part, "Please know we are working to reschedule the reveal as soon as possible." What we know about the Lyriq is just as compelling as what we don't know. There XT5-sized people hauler will be out to dazzle in every way, with a ton of weight on its shoulders — many will be judging GM's and Cadillac's past and claimed preparedness for the future based on this one offering. The Lyriq will be the first GM EV to sit on a new EV architecture the engineers call BEV3 and the marketers call Ultium, with battery capacities up to 200 kWh and a potential range of 400 miles. Speaking of which, GM just applied to trademark the term Tecra with the US Patent and Trademark Office, so we could be in for more information on innovative battery systems in the not-too-distant future. The automaker could forgo a public debut for the time being and opt to livestream the event. Or, who knows, it's possible the Detroit Auto Show just garnered itself a whopping debut for the show's debut event in June; the first rendering of the Lyriq aired at last year's Detroit show. 2017 Cadillac CT6 Plug-in Hybrid is the most efficient and torquey CT6 of all
Tue, Nov 15 2016Cadillac is returning to the hybrid game after discontinuing the ill-fated ELR, this time with an existing car and a new drivetrain. The company has taken its CT6 flagship and given it a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, a pair of motors, and a big battery pack. The result of this combination is a CT6 that manages a rating of 65 MPGe, can go 30 miles on a full electric charge or 400 miles combined with the engine. The powertrain produces 335 horsepower and 432 lb-ft of torque. That's the same amount of power as the 3.6-liter V6 CT6, and more torque than that engine or the twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6. Cadillac claims the CT6 plug-in is capable of hitting 60 miles per hour in 5.2 seconds and reaching a top speed of 150 mph. The green and grunty CT6 plug-in will be available this coming spring, and it will have a premium price of $76,090. Cadillac says that its equipment list is comparable to the CT6 Premium Luxury trim level, which starts at $64,590 with the 3.6-liter V6, and $68,590 with the twin-turbo V6. However, in addition to the hybrid powertrain, Cadillac throws in a number of features that are options on the conventional gasoline models. To get the hybrid's rear seat infotainment system and enhanced night vision, a buyer would have to add $5,800 in option packages. That still leaves the twin-turbo model $1,700 shy of the hybrid, but that's not a terrible trade for the option of fuel-free driving for at least some of the time.
