60 Fleetwood original paint
Bought in LA
Has a very solid body.

  • engine will tun over.
  • Has factory air ride which is very expensive to buy in pieces
  • there is no back bumper or rear grill.
  • The horn works
  • windows work
  • power set works
  • lights work.
  • Body is very very solid and I would not consider this a parts car.
This car was in a barn for 20 years. My guess is the air ride was not working and it was not repaired. We have the car blocked up so it can be transported with ease . The title is now from Virginia, but there is NO doubt the owner had been in the Military and had driven the car EAST. If you look at the front  grill you can see a badge from a California park in 1973. The car was originally a TRI POWER CAR.   You will need to get a carb and manifold for the car when you restore it.  I will have the car on my trailer and can deliver it for a fee so please inquire. This is VERY rare. We used to find 1960 fleetwoods all the time, but never LOADED like this one. The interior is good for patterns but does have an odor. The headliner is discolored but in tact. We have a 1960 Eldo on springs going to list on Ebay soon, Maybe you could pair them together in a 2 car deal.

Cadillac ATS failing to command BMW 3 Series-like pricing as hoped

Mon, 05 Aug 2013

The BMW 3 Series has long been the benchmark for small and sporty luxury vehicles, but the Cadillac ATS has come on strong in its short time on the market as a true rival in this segment. As impressive as Cadillac's new compact sedan is, however, Automotive News is reporting that the car is still lagging behind the 3 Series when it comes to actual transaction pricing.
According to the article, the average transaction price for the ATS is $39,459 while the 3 Series is at a much larger $44,764, but, just as importantly, Cadillac has about $500 more in incentives on the ATS compared to BMW. Transaction prices are much closer to cars like the Mercedes C-Class and Audi A4. Of course, this is all with the ATS trying to take on its small, sport sedan rivals with a single bodystyle and limited powertrain options compared to the numerous options available from the German automakers in this class.
This uneven battle won't last long, though, as recent spy shots have revealed that Cadillac is hard at work on a high-performance ATS-V and an ATS Coupe. No official word as to when either of these models will be unveiled, but with auto show season set to kick off, we're expecting sooner rather than later. The best news for the ATS is that the Automotive News says sales of the ATS are on target and that 74 percent of ATS buyers are new to Cadillac - two important factors for the brand as it tries to break into this tough segment.

Cadillac sales chief Peffer resigns amidst slow sales

Fri, 20 Jun 2014

Cadillac continues to hemorrhage executives, as it's just seen its fourth high-level departure in the past year. Vice President of Global Strategic Development Don Butler (who defected to Ford) and European President and Managing Director Susan Docherty both left the company of their own volition, while Chase Hawkins, Cadillac's vice president of sales and service, was fired following a "violation of policy" in July of 2013. Strangely, it's Hawkins' replacement, Bill Peffer (shown above), who has handed in his papers this time around.
"Bill left to pursue other interests. Kurt McNeil replaces him, effective immediately," spokesman David Caldwell told Autoblog via email.
McNeil last held the VP of sales and service position back in 2012. He's currently the vice president of US sales for all of General Motors. According to The Detroit News, McNeil will take on the post in what is likely an interim capacity.

Texas sues GM, saying it tricked customers into sharing driving data sold to insurers

Wed, Aug 14 2024

Texas filed a lawsuit Tuesday against GM over years of alleged abuse of customers' data and trust. New car owners were presented with a "confusing and highly misleading" process that was implied to be for their safety, but "was no more than a deceptively designed sales flow" that surrendered their data for GM to sell. The suit contends that at no point was selling driving data ever even suggested as a possibility, putting GM in violation of the state's consumer protection laws. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is seeking a jury trial and at least $10,000 per offense (every GM car sold in the state since 2015) and a hefty add-on of $250,000 in cases where the victim was over 65. Texas seems to be flying high after a recent $1.4 billion settlement from Meta over other privacy concerns. This may well be a way to solve any pending budgetary issues in the Lone Star State.
