This is your opportunity to own a very Rare and luxurious Escalade ESV for the price of a regular one!  This is the Escalade ESV Platinum series.  If you are unaware of the differences in a Platinum and the other packages the main differences are as follows:

1) Platinum's include headrest DVD players as well as the overhead monitors.  You can literally watch 3 different DVD's at the same time!

2) Platinum's include HID headlights unique to themselves(very similar to the headlight that are in the 2015 new body style Escalades).

3) Platinum's come standard with MRI(magnetic ride control).

4) Platinum's come standard with power running boards.

5) Platinum's have wheels that only come of Platinum's.

6) Platinum's have a unique leather that is softer and more durable than the other leather.  If you ever sit in a platinum you will understand the difference especially on extreme weather days(hot and cold).

7) Platinum's have a unique woodgrain compared to other Escalades.

8) Platinum's have heated and cooled cup holders.

9) Platinum's have a unique steering wheel and dash package.

10) Platinum's have unique grille and badging.

11) Etc.!

Now on the specifics for this particular vehicle!!  This is a one owner, non smoker, pristine Southern AWD(very difficult to find) and you can tell that it has been loved!!  We put on a brand new set of tires and changed the oil.  It is ready to go.  It even has the balance of the powertrain warranty in tact with the manufacturer until the vehicle has 100,000 miles so you have no worries!!  This is a beautiful example of an Escalade ESV Platinum.  It is in above average condition in everyway.  The only flaws that we could find on the vehicle(which are specifically shown in the last three pictures) were one minor chip on the trailer hitch cover, one minor chip on tailgate handle, and a minor scratch on passenger side door.  This is not to say that there are no other flaws but this is all that we have noticed.  We encourage your on inspection to verify condition.  The only other defect that we could find is the drivers side power mirror glass does not go up an down with the button.  The mirror does fold in and the glass goes side to side just not up and down.  It does go up and down manually and has proven to be no problem at all to me(it is my personal demo).

In my opinion you will find a hard time finding a nicer ESV than this one.  At this price it is like getting all the Platinum options for free!!  Please feel free to have the vehicle inspected by anybody you choose.  You can call me at 404 403 2974 with any questions.  We will help with shipping in any way we can but the vehicle must be paid for prior to leaving our lot.

Please make note that the mileage will vary slightly as I will continue to drive this one until it sells!

Johan responds to critics again about Cadillac's NY move

Wed, 15 Oct 2014

Cadillac's new President Johan de Nysschen has faced a fair amount of criticism since assuming his position at the head of the American luxury manufacturer. From the company's move to New York City to a controversial new naming scheme, the first few months of his tenure have not been smooth sailing. Now, the embattled exec is firing back against his critics, notably Automotive News Editor-in-Chief Keith Crain, in a new column running in AN.
De Nysschen countered Crain's claim that the move to the Big Apple, "can only mean that someone wants to live in New York."
"The relocation decision is entirely unrelated to the personal living preferences of any Cadillac executive. No corporation would tolerate such indulgence by its leadership," de Nysschen wrote. "It is about structurally entrenching a challenge to the status quo by reinforcing the psychological and physical separation in business philosophy between the mainstream brands and GM's luxury brand."

Mark Reuss: GM can't afford product 'misses,' has 'thought about' CT6 V-Series

Thu, Apr 9 2015

Mark Reuss is a busy man. He oversees General Motors' global product portfolio, an all-encompassing task for a company that sold more than 9.9 million cars and trucks last year. When GM launches a well-received product, like the road-going rocket ship that is the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 – he gets credit. When the company stumbles with the slow-selling Chevy Malibu or grapples with fallout from the decade-old Saturn Ion and its flawed ignition switch, he gets blamed. GM owners, the press and sometimes the federal government, demand answers. Bob Lutz famously held the job before Reuss. So did Mary Barra, who's now GM's chief executive. There's a New GM, but the lineage is connected to a long history. When he's not thinking product, Reuss, an executive vice president, also runs the purchasing and supply chain for the company, which is still one of the largest industrial empires in the world. We caught up with Reuss on the floor of the New York Auto Show, where GM had just rolled out two crucial new products: the 2016 Cadillac CT6 and the 2016 Chevrolet Malibu. Speaking with a small group of reporters, Reuss delved into a variety of subjects, including the new Malibu, Cadillac's future (he thinks the ATS-V is going to "flame the M3 and M4"), and other topics. On fixing the Malibu: "We can't miss. We can't have those kinds of misses [like the previous generation] on our cars and crossovers and trucks. We can't do that. If we do that, we give a reason for someone to go buy something else. It's that simple. "On a car like the Malibu we have a chance to really fix all of that, which we have, and then lead. Then you've got a real opportunity there. So that's what we've really been focused on here – to fix those things." He later added: "We need that car here to transform Chevrolet desperately because it's the heart of the market. And when you think of Chevrolet, people will come back and think about what we did with the [new] Malibu and the Cruze... It's hugely important to us." On Cadillac: "If we go out and try and out-German the Germans, it's probably not going to work. We've got an opportunity here generationally where there's a lot of people younger than me that have parents that drove BMWs and Mercedes, and I think there's an opportunity there for those people to drive something different than what their parents did, and I think that's always been an opportunity in the auto industry if you look at the history of it.
