Looking to turn heads or want to drive a boat? This 1966 Cadillac Coupe Deville 7.0 Liter, V8, 429 is guaranteed to get a lot of attention. This Cadi is loved by all, young and older! We are moving and this is my 5th vehicle so we are trying to downsize, otherwise I would keep it. If you like the wide body look and feeling then this vehicle is a good fit. When riding it feels like a big boat and measures about 22 feet long. Ostrich dashboard adds a nice touch to the black and red interior, the custom script Cadillac floor mats tie it all in real nice. The 22" wire wheels knock offs do rub a little when turning but can easily be fixed by shaving some of the fender or the bumper. When driving straight of course there is no rubbing. I bought the vehicle from someone that drove the car from Minnesota. He stated he had no issues driving it and was garage kept. Since this is our 5th vehicle it doesn't get much usage. Being in Colorado the car was in storage during the winter months and came out of storage in the summer. Typically it only was driven for Sunday cruises or date night. Last year I installed brand new loop old school carpet on the entire floor. The rear deck behind the rear seats does need to be re-done, but this is your chance to add your own touch to this Cadi. The exterior paint is black with cherry red flake which comes to life in the sun. At night the vehicle looks only black you cannot tell there is red in the paint. Since we are relocating I may be able to drop the vehicle off to you if you live somewhere between Colorado and California. I want the new owner to be proud to own this vehicle so please SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY and feel free to email with questions. Clear title in hand waiting for it's new owner!

2020 Cadillac CT4-V First Drive | The Cadillac of compact Cadillacs

Fri, Jun 5 2020

With the launch of the 2020 Cadillac CT4, GM is pushing back into the smallest luxury sedan segment that in recent years has almost exclusively featured entries from Germany. We're pleased to see it return, and importantly, that it definitely came back prepared. The CT4’s key differentiator is its platform. Unlike the bulk of entry-level luxury sedans currently on the market, the Cadillac rides on a rear-wheel-drive platform. All-wheel drive is available throughout the lineup for those who need (or just want) four-season flexibility, but itÂ’s meant to be a convenience feature rather than a performance upgrade — the same is not true of its front-wheel-drive competitors. The CT4 ostensibly replaces the discontinued ATS, but reality is a bit murkier than that. Stop us if youÂ’ve heard this before, but the Cadillac CT4 is not entirely size-appropriate for the class. While the CT4 is aimed at the subcompact luxury sedan segment (and the CT5 at the compact), itÂ’s dimensionally a bit closer to the likes of the Mercedes C-Class than it is the A-Class. This gives Caddy a bit of an advantage, but itÂ’s nothing we havenÂ’t seen from GMÂ’s luxury arm before. Cadillac has chosen instead to target the segment based on price, which is a win for consumers in a way, as you can get a little bit more bang for your buck if theyÂ’re willing to take a chance on the underdog. Cadillac is offering its new small sedan in three states of tune. The base (“Luxury”) model boasts a 2.0-liter engine good for 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The Premium Luxury and CT4-V models get the 2.7-liter — which is still a four-cylinder — that makes 310 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque in its base tune and 325 hp and 380 lb-ft in the CT4-V. All three variants make use of GMÂ’s active fuel management tech which allows them to run on just two cylinders to conserve fuel while cruising. Yes, you read that correctly. The CT4-V boasts just 325 hp, which may seem like a pittance considering the outrageously powerful V models of CadillacÂ’s past, but GMÂ’s luxury arm has decided to re-jigger its performance hierarchy by eliminating “V-Sport” entirely, shifting “V” down to fill that role, and introducing a series of new range-topping performance models dubbed “Blackwing.” In that context, the CT4-V may seem like an also-ran, but consider the company it keeps.

2014 Cadillac ELR is making green sexy in Detroit

Tue, 15 Jan 2013

In terms of styling, inside and out, the ELR hits the ball out of the park.
Cadillac has pulled the wraps off of its newest family member, the long-rumored, Voltec-powered, eye-catching extended range hybrid coupe called the ELR. The car makes use of the same basic architecture as the Chevrolet Volt, but has been thoroughly layered on with design, technology and performance tuning - with the goal of being a properly situated product for the Cadillac brand.

Cadillac snags de Nysschen from Infiniti, names him new president

Fri, 11 Jul 2014

Johan de Nysschen, the (now former) president of Infiniti, has officially jumped ship. The 54-year-old, who also spent time as the chief executive for Audi USA, has taken the position of president at Cadillac, following a two-year stint at the Nissan-owned luxury brand. In his new role, the 54-year-old will be responsible "for all aspects of Cadillac globally," according to a statement from General Motors.
"Johan brings to our company vast experience in the development and proper execution of luxury automotive brands," said GM President Dan Ammann, de Nysschen's new boss. "With over 20 years in this exact space, especially in the development of the Audi brand, his track record proves he is the perfect executive to lead Cadillac for the long term."
"I have for some time now been impressed by how the new General Motors has been transformed into a formidable force in the industry," de Nysschen said in a statement. "The combination of strong corporate leadership and exceptional engineering resources presents the perfect combination to restore Cadillac to its place among global premium brands."
