Lexington, South Carolina, United States
THIS IS CAN AWESOME CRUISER. I BOUGHT THIS CAR COMPLETELY STOCK AND DID ALL THE CUSTOM WORK. I BOUGHT THIS CAR TO BE AN ORIGNAL 50,000 MILE CADILLAC. I HAVE NO WAY OF GUARANTEEING THIS BUT THE ODO DOES WORK AND EVERYTHING IN CAR WORKED INCLUDING FACTORY RADIO AND ALL ELECTRIC SEATS AND WINDOWS. IT WAS WHITE W/ BLUE INTERIOR AND VERY CLEAN. I PAINTED IT GRIGIO SILVER AND SHAVED ALL THE TRIM AND DOOR HANDLES TO GIVE IT A CLEAN LOOK.IT HAS REMOTE POPPERS FOR ALL 4 DOORS. I CONVERTED THE HEADLIGHTS OVER TO HID OUTPUT AND LED REAR TAILIGHTS & REVERSE LIGHTS. I HAD THE INTERIOR COMPLETELY REDONE W/ SUEDE HEAD LINER AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICS.. IT IS FULLY SERVICED AND READY TO GO. I PUT BRAND NEW 22 INCH WHEELS AND TIRES ON IT AND LOWERED IT 1 1/1 INCH ALL THE WAY AROUND. I ALSO PUT A DIGITAL OUTPUT RADIO IN IT WITH PHONE/IPOD HOOK UP. REBUILT TRANSMISSON AND ADDED THE FOLLOWING BRAND NEW : EDELBROCK 4BARREL/STARTER/DISTRIBUTOR PLUG & WIRES/HEATER CORE/AIR & FUEL FILTERS/ WATER PUMP/ TIMING CHAIN AND GEARS/ A/C FRESHLY CHARGED. I WANTED EVERYTHING ON THIS CAR TO BE DEPENDABLE SO I REPLACED MOST EXTERNAL ENGINE PARTS. CAR DOES NOT SMOKE OR TICK. GUARANTEED TO ENJOY. I TRIED TO INLUDE AS MUCH DETAIL AS POSSIBLE PLEASE EMAIL IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. PROBABLY THE MOST ASKED ? IS WHY AM I SALEING IT.... THIS IS MY HOBBY. I ENJOY FIXING UP RIDES AND MOVING ON TO THE NEXT PROJECT. THANK YOU FOR YOU INTEREST. |

Autoblog Podcast #326:
How GM's grueling 24-hour test gets the kinks out of its performance cars
Tue, 27 Aug 2013One of the biggest challenges automakers face when designing a high-performance car is making sure that it is both fast and reliable. For General Motors, any car that might be taken to the track by its owner - like the Corvette, Camaro Z/28 (shown above) and the Cadillac CTS-V, for example - undergoes a rigorous and strenuous 24-hour test by engineers at the Milford Proving Grounds, as pointed out by Car and Driver.
We've posted on this topic in the past - on a video showing the Camaro ZL1 being brutalized, for instance - but this article gives a more in-depth look at what actually happens behind the scenes... including what that poor ZL1 went through. Though the test isn't for 24 hours straight, the cars are pushed as hard as possible by some of GM's best drivers with only the brakes and tires replaced frequently.
We don't want to ruin the fun for you, but it is an interesting article that tells just some of what GM does to develop its sports cars. Check out the full article over at Car and Driver for the rest of the story.
It's a V8 party! Lexus IS 500, Cadillac Escalade and more | Autoblog Podcast #667
Fri, Feb 26 2021In this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Road Test Editor Zac Palmer. It's all V8s all the time this week, starting with the Land Rover Defender V8 unveiling, Lexus IS 500 F Sport Performance debut and pricing announcement on the Jeep Wrangler 392. Next, they move on to what they've been driving. Spoiler alert: That means more V8 talk. Zac has been driving the Cadillac Escalade with the 6.2-liter V8 and BMW M550i with its 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8. Greg and Zac take a pause from the V8 theme by discussing their shared time in our long-term Acura TLX. From this, they segue into a "Spend My Money" feature about garage lifts to finish the show.
