2011 CTS V 2 Cadillac. supercharged Hennessey 650 upgrade custom build #93.
Car is awesome, I have maintained it well and it has run on Pennzoil Ultra premium synthetic since I got it. best
you can buy !! This thing is clean as a whistle and I would drive it to Montana and back tomorrow if I had to !
ultra reliable and an Extreme Head turner !!
Car was bought in Tampa from a private seller with about 35k miles on it,. I Took it to Hennessey at 44K miles and
it sits at 64K right now. Babied, garage kept, commuted with in and out of Houston and extremely well maintained /
never drag raced, but sometimes shamelessly abused in traffic,... old man owner, gets a hair over 700 HP at the
fly +/- 570 RWHP. Yes this was a 650 hp upgrade package that was from Hennessey but when they dyno'd it it came
out at 693+/- and the axel back was put on post tune, so according to the Hennessey tuner, she is easy over 700 hp
now.. Some extras other than what's In the pics + the Hennessey upgrade are..:
*Will leave the escort passport mirror power hard wired radar detector in there as a bonus. you're gonna need it...
its on a go pro gimble mount off the mirror.
*3M CF wrap on the hood, emblems and all the side and rear chrome trimming. (easily removable)
*lower front custom 3-piece splitter with CF wrap (have a little extra wrap to go with it if it gets scuffed in the
car wash)
*Corsa axel back touring exhaust. Nice sound, not obnoxious and makes the perfect sound in line with the
supercharger pulley and tune.
*D3 rear trunk tail light wing (CF wrapped) AND front D3 LED strip vertical replacement fog lights with brake
intake coolant housings. (I also have the OEM fog lights and plastic housing inserts that go with it,).
*also have the OEM floor mats and CAI that were replaced at the Hennessey upgrade.
The front fairing shows touched up rock chips as a 60K vehicle would but not excessive, and there is some curb rash
on each the wheels that I keep touched up with a combo of sharpie and my daughters perfect match black nail
polish.

GM To Offer Car That Will Almost Drive Itself
Mon, Sep 8 2014Cars that can talk to each other and almost drive themselves at freeway speeds are just two years away from the showroom, according to General Motors executives. The company announced Sunday that the semi-autonomous system for freeways will be an option on an unidentified new 2017 Cadillac that goes on sale in the summer of 2016. In addition, another 2017 Cadillac, the CTS, will be equipped with radio transmitters and receivers that will let it communicate with other cars, sharing data such as location, speed and whether the driver is applying the brakes. The announcements were made Sunday at the opening of the Intelligent Transportation Society World Congress being held in Detroit this week. They are part of a barrage of similar declarations that are expected from other companies throughout the week as the industry shows off progress toward self-driving and safer cars. The freeway system, dubbed "Super Cruise," uses cameras and radar to keep the car in the center of a lane and also stay a safe distance behind cars in front of it. The system will bring the car to a complete stop if traffic halts without driver action, and it can keep the car going in stop-and-go traffic. Other automakers, such as Mercedes-Benz, now offer similar systems that work at low speeds, but GM says it's the first to announce a system that operates at highway speeds. Others could have freeway systems in two years, though. "If the mood strikes you on the high-speed road from Barstow, California, to Las Vegas, you can take a break from the wheel and pedals and let the car do the work," CEO Mary Barra said in remarks prepared for the conference's keynote address on Sunday. But GM said the car still won't drive itself, and the company is working on a system to monitor drivers to make sure they're still paying attention. Details of that system weren't released. "Sensing technology is not yet to the point where the driver can check out," said John Capp, GM's director of global safety strategy. "This is a level of automation that can be done, that is feasible." The new Cadillac that will get Super Cruise hasn't been officially announced yet. But executives have hinted that GM will build a big rear-drive Caddy to lead its lineup in the coming years. Also Sunday, the Michigan Department of Transportation announced that it will partner with GM, Ford Motor Co.
Cadillac issues stop-sale on recalled CTS, SRX
Mon, 21 Jul 2014General Motors has issued a stop-sale order on the Cadillac CTS and SRX, both of which were recalled late last month. Why the stop-sale after all this time? Well, um, GM apparently doesn't know how to fix them.
The stop-sale covers all used Cadillac CTS sedans, coupes and wagons from model years 2003 to 2013, as well as new 2014 coupes and wagons. The SRX crossover stop-sale, meanwhile, only covers used vehicles from model years 2004 to 2006.
Automotive News reached out to GM spokesperson Alan Adler, who told the news pub that the company's engineers were "looking at one common solution" for the affected vehicles, although "they don't have it yet."
Cadillac considering ultra-luxe, $100k+ Escalade
Tue, Sep 22 2015The Cadillac Escalade has pushed incrementally up-market over the years. From its humble Chevy/GMC truck underpinnings, the latest Escalade starts at $72,970 and tops out at $96,940. But according to the latest reports, Cadillac is weighing an even more upscale version. Though the exact nature of the upgrades that would push the Escalade further up-market remain unknown – and perhaps undecided at this point – the impetus for such a move is crystal clear. European luxury SUVs keep getting more and more expensive, both from established players and new challengers. Bentley just launched the Bentayga, and other luxury marques like Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Maserati, and Lamborghini are all getting into the game. All the while manufacturers like Land Rover and Mercedes-Benz keep rolling out ever more expensive offerings, like the Range Rover Autobiography and anticipating forthcoming Maybach sport-ute. To challenge those European imports with their astronomic price tags, Cadillac could go with an even higher trim level than its existing Platinum spec – or it could go with a more powerful, performance-oriented Escalade V or Vsport. Getting that big a vehicle to hustle would require a lot of power, but then General Motors has never been one to shy away from slotting a bigger engine into its vehicles. One thing's for certain though, and that's that Cadillac isn't quite done with pushing the Escalade higher up the market.
