Up For auction is a beautiful Cadillac Allante convertible WITH A HARD TOP!!! This car is in AMAZING condition. The Engine and trans run like clockwork, and are cleaner than most of my dishes!!!! This car has been Garage kept its entire life, and driven primarily as a Sunday driver in the summer. The interior is FLAWLESS, NOT EVEN A RIP IN THE STITCHING. This car has the SUPER RARE BURGUNDY LEATHER INTERIOR(pics do not do this car justice!!) This Allante also has the Digital Dash in it, which works just as it should(also rare). You WILL NOT FIND A CLEANER ONE OF THESE ANYWHERE. Even the ones I see out here in "collectors condition" dont stack up to this amazing automobile. There are no mechanical issues, and this Cadillac does not burn or leak any fluid. I will do my best to get a video up of it running!(it runs tighter than your moms sewing machine) THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION, SO GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING!!!!!
On Apr-18-13 at 15:07:00 PDT, seller added the following information:
as of 4/18/2013 we have had the car on the lot and to our mechanic to inspect, and we have noticed some VERY MINOR ISSUES!! I WANT TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS COVERED SO THE NEW BUYER/ OWNER WILL BE VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR PURCHASE!!!! The issues were as follows:
1. The hard top convertible seal on the drivers side has been repaired, it does not leak, but should be replaced at some point in time before a leak develops, who ever repaired it did not replace the whole seal, they repaired a piece of it on the driver side.
2. The windows regulators are the original and they have gotten very slow, you also have to push the button down pretty hard to make them go up or down, but they do move.

Seinfeld and Don Rickles stretch out in classic Caddy for latest CiCGC
Thu, 04 Jul 2013It's no surprise that for the newest episode of Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, airing for the first time on the 4th of July, that a couple of American classics are involved. You'll Never Play the Copa unites Seinfeld with legendary curmudgeon Don Rickles, driving around in a stunner of a 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Seville in Gleneagles Green (upholstery wrapped in Grandma-spec plastic, of course).
Mr. Rickles really steals the show in this one - maybe our favorite CiCGC to date - though the Eldorado plays a strong-jawed costarring role, for sure. Stories about Ronald Regan, Frank Sinatra, Billy Graham and, of course, Herkie Styles are more than worth the price of admission. Check it out below.
Playboy reveals its 2013 Cars of the Year
Thu, 20 Dec 2012Vaunted men's magazine Playboy knows that its readers are nearly as interested in cars as they are in the female anatomy... sorry, we thought we could write that with a straight face. Anyway, the buff-book does occasionally fill some of its spreads with sexy metal, to accent all the rest of the sexiness.
To wit, the magazine has unveiled its feature on the 2013 Cars of the Year. Without giving us much in the way of criteria for the awards, nor a clear framing of the categories ("Responsible Ride" is a particularly challenging concept, especially when you consider that the Mazdaspeed3 was the winner), Playboy has nevertheless highlighted what we assume to be it's favorite 12 or 13 (depending on how you count) cars from the 2013 model year.
Headlining the class is the Porsche 911, which Playboy writers single out for having "remarkable electronic voodoo." BMW M5 is named "Slickest Sports Sedan" though the Cadillac ATS then follows on because "we couldn't resist giving the new Caddy a shout-out." The rest of the picks are pretty conventional (save, perhaps, the Honda Fit EV as "Ace Electric"), even if the categories and methodology are fairly wonky. Cruise through or gallery for a taste or check out the full list, here. The site is safe for work, and you can legitimately (this time) say that you were reading it for the articles.
Next-gen Cadillac Escalade spied with grille uncovered for the first time
Thu, Oct 3 2019The next generation of full-size GM SUVs is coming, and the Cadillac Escalade may the most anticipated reveal of them all. Lincoln has blown up the scene with its excellent Navigator, and Cadillac needs something revolutionary in response. Our latest set of spy photos show us what appears to be a camouflaged Escalade, but it’s missing some of the camo covering the grille. None of our previous Escalade spy photos have given us this detailed of a look at the grille before. The grille design looks like a blown-up version of the XT6 right now. ItÂ’s not the exact same pattern as we see on the Sport or Premium Luxury trims of that car, but the design looks like it comes from a similar mind. ThereÂ’s certainly no mistaking it for anything other than a Cadillac, as the Yukon and Tahoe likely wonÂ’t be sporting such gaudy front pieces — the jury is still out on a potential High Country trim, though. This particular tester looks like it was caught on GMÂ’s proving grounds, as the driver unsuccessfully tries to hide his face from the camera. Just like previous spy shots, these feature the same rectangular exhaust outlets and independent rear suspension down below. We still have no idea what the rest of the SUV is going to look like, but as GM is wont to do these days, a big grille is a certainty now. The camouflage conceals just how far it stretches from one side to the other, but weÂ’ll be interested to see how much of the design language is ripped from smaller SUVs like the XT6 and XT5. We have a feeling Cadillac plans on giving us something new and game-changing with the Escalade; we just donÂ’t know if the styling is up to the task yet.
