Yes, this auction is for 12 cars + an accumulation of used and NOS parts. Selling my baby Buick collection. 11 1963 Special/Skylark automobiles in varying condition plus an accumulation of used and NOS parts and a 1961 Oldsmobile F85 four door. Three cars are in southern Nevada, two are in Little Rock AR, six are in Nocona TX and one is in Boise ID. It's starting to look like I will never be able to afford to gather them together and enjoy them so here they go. Will consider trading them towards a 1+ acre lot in Pahrump, NV with electric on an edge on an improved road. Will assist moving them for no charge as long as fuel is paid by buyer.
The cars are listed by location:
Nevada
'63 Skylark convertible-- Kansas car with minor rust. Rare Glacier Blue color code and factory a/c. Power windows, top and seat. White vinyl interior. Numbers matching engine/transmission. Runs and drives, used recently as daily driver. Arkansas title in my name.
'63 Skylark convertible-- rot-free California car with minor surface rust. Bronze metallic color code. No engine/transmission. Hit on left rear quarter, mangled quarter panel. Good donor for Arkansas convertible (see below) Mostly disassembled. Rolls. Obtained with bill of sale. Parts car only.
'63 Special Deluxe station wagon-- rot-free California car straight doors and quarters, good donor for other wagon (see below). No engine/transmission. Power rear window. Rolls. Obtained with bill of sale. Parts car only.
Arkansas
'63 Special Convertible-- rot totaled chassis but complete with numbers matching 198 c.i. V6 and what I expect to be the original transmission as the car shows 63,000+-. Power top. Black with white top code and red bench seat interior. Arkansas title in my name.
'63 Skylark hardtop coupe-- stripped, rusted floorboards but fair donor for other hardtops. Nice rear clip. Will need to be dragged onto trailer. Have title document, was unable to transfer to me due to estate complications.
Texas
'63 Special convertible-- Kansas car with some rust but complete, some straight panels. V6/3 speed on column. Silver metallic with blue bench seat interior. No title but checked out with Kansas-- never stolen.
'63 Special Deluxe station wagon-- original 3 on the tree car with no engine/transmission. Pretty straight with no rot. White/red. Rare radio delete panel. No title.
'63 Special station wagon-- Flint car with much rust. white/marlin blue. Numbers matching V6 and I'm running what I believe to be the original dualpath transmission in my driver. Factory luggage rack. Arkansas title in my name.
'63 Skylark hardtop-- rot-free, pretty straight with minor damage on tail. Perfect doors. No engine but I have what could be the original transmission. No title.
'61 Oldsmobile F85 four door sedan-- complete base model 3 speed column shift. Low miles, 60,000 something if I recall correctly. Tried to get it running once, suspect timing chain. Floorboards rotted, few straight panels but no heavy damage. Open Oklahoma title.
Boise
'63 Skylark hardtop-- Flint car which must have made its way west early on - rust-free. Complete numbers matching. Hit hard on driver's side, needs left quarter from Little Rock hardtop. Excellent front end, hood is nearly flawless. Excellent pot metal.
Parts include transmissions, engine blocks/heads, NOS pot metal and stainless steel trim, rare non-shifter steering column, a/c compressors, a four speed transmission, three four on floor factory shifters. There's enough here for a couple of 100% show cars if that's what you'd like to do.
No I won't sell parts, all must go. Serious inquiry will get a list of parts.

2020 Buick LaCrosse images leaked on Chinese website
Fri, Nov 16 2018Buick is planning a refreshed version of its LaCrosse full-size sedan for the Chinese market, judging by these photos discovered by the site Auto Verdict on a Chinese government site used to certify upcoming new models. We can only see exterior cosmetic changes, but they bring the LaCrosse more in line with the styling of the new Regal and Enclave models, leading to speculation that it won't be long until the changes show up in the U.S. The front three-quarters photo shows off a redesigned front fascia, with slimmed-down headlights that are now tied to the grille instead of set apart by body-color surround, thanks to some new chrome treatment. There's also a chrome wing on the grille, similar to what's seen on the 2019 Enclave and new Regal. The lower front fascia is also different, with new L-shaped fog lamps. On the rear, there's a new chrome wing connecting and intersecting the taillights and surrounding the badge. There's no word about any interior changes, but they'd likely be minor in keeping with the exterior updates. Buick most recently debuted a 2019 LaCrosse Sport Touring version, while a mild hybrid model arrived for 2018. China, of course, has become Buick's largest market, but the picture is less rosy stateside amid dimming prospects for sedans, as consumers flock to crossovers and SUVs. In the third quarter, U.S. sales of the LaCrosse fell 31.1 percent from the prior-year period. Between January and the end of September, GM had sold 13,409, which was a decline of 14.2 percent. Its full-year 2017 sales totaled 20,161, which was down almost 27 percent from 2016. For perspective, Buick sold more than twice that number — 42,035 — as recently as 2015. The current generation launched in 2017. Related Video: Featured Gallery 2020 Buick LaCrosse China Image Credit: Buick Design/Style Buick Luxury Sedan
China's Buick Envista crossover is coming to the United States
Wed, Nov 23 2022Confirming an earlier rumor, Buick has announced that the Envista crossover it unveiled in China earlier in 2022 will travel across the Pacific and land in American showrooms. The fastback-like soft-roader's main mission will be to lure younger buyers into the firm's showrooms. "[The Buick Envista is] already in production in China, off the design of the Buick Wildcat. Getting ready for the United States here as well; just a beautiful addition to the Buick line-up," said General Motors president Mark Reuss during a conference call in November 2022. His announcement asks more questions than it answers. We don't know when the Envista will make its American debut, whether it will be imported from China or built elsewhere, or precisely where it will slot in the Buick range. Enthusiast website GM Authority speculates that we could see the model in time for the 2024 model year and that the lineup will include an upmarket trim level with the Avenir designation. Technical details will be released closer to the Envista's on-sale date. For context, the version sold in China carries a base price of RMB 150,000, which represents about $21,000 at the current conversion rate, and ships with a turbocharged, 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 181 horsepower and bolted to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). It's available with a pair of 10.25-inch displays (one for the instrument cluster and one for the infotainment system), a surround-sound system, and a sporty-looking appearance package named GS (that should raise some eyebrows from the long-time Buick fans out there). Convincing young motorists to put the Buick brand near the top of their shopping list will be just one of the Envista's tasks. On a secondary level, it also previews the design language that will permeate the rest of the range (including a series of EVs) in the coming years. Mark Reuss: GM can't afford product 'misses,' has 'thought about' CT6 V-Series
Thu, Apr 9 2015Mark Reuss is a busy man. He oversees General Motors' global product portfolio, an all-encompassing task for a company that sold more than 9.9 million cars and trucks last year. When GM launches a well-received product, like the road-going rocket ship that is the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 – he gets credit. When the company stumbles with the slow-selling Chevy Malibu or grapples with fallout from the decade-old Saturn Ion and its flawed ignition switch, he gets blamed. GM owners, the press and sometimes the federal government, demand answers. Bob Lutz famously held the job before Reuss. So did Mary Barra, who's now GM's chief executive. There's a New GM, but the lineage is connected to a long history. When he's not thinking product, Reuss, an executive vice president, also runs the purchasing and supply chain for the company, which is still one of the largest industrial empires in the world. We caught up with Reuss on the floor of the New York Auto Show, where GM had just rolled out two crucial new products: the 2016 Cadillac CT6 and the 2016 Chevrolet Malibu. Speaking with a small group of reporters, Reuss delved into a variety of subjects, including the new Malibu, Cadillac's future (he thinks the ATS-V is going to "flame the M3 and M4"), and other topics. On fixing the Malibu: "We can't miss. We can't have those kinds of misses [like the previous generation] on our cars and crossovers and trucks. We can't do that. If we do that, we give a reason for someone to go buy something else. It's that simple. "On a car like the Malibu we have a chance to really fix all of that, which we have, and then lead. Then you've got a real opportunity there. So that's what we've really been focused on here – to fix those things." He later added: "We need that car here to transform Chevrolet desperately because it's the heart of the market. And when you think of Chevrolet, people will come back and think about what we did with the [new] Malibu and the Cruze... It's hugely important to us." On Cadillac: "If we go out and try and out-German the Germans, it's probably not going to work. We've got an opportunity here generationally where there's a lot of people younger than me that have parents that drove BMWs and Mercedes, and I think there's an opportunity there for those people to drive something different than what their parents did, and I think that's always been an opportunity in the auto industry if you look at the history of it.
