This Auction for a 1970 Buick GS 350 Convertible, It Currently Does not Run, It would need Spark Plug Wires, Probably the Carb. Rebuilt And Old Fuel removed from Tank. It Drove into My Shop 4 yr's ago under its own power and sounded Fine. It did have a rotten exhaust system under it that was taken off.
This Going to be a project. It had just been painted when I got it, However the paint has some chips here and there. Its Air Conditioned car, however the compressor is not on it or here.It does have the mounting bracket in the trunk.
It will come with a new GS Grill in box($500) New Side Markers and various GS Emblems that are new. I think some 455 emblems as well, I'm going to forward what I have.
It was my intent to clone it into a GS 455 Car or Get some white GSX Stripes and install on this Black paint, The paint job isn't Bad, and it Great. It Looks Good. I have not done anything to the car since owning it other than cut the exhaust off and Borrow the Spark plug wires off of it.
It needs a New Top it is ripped ,It does have a power top that worked fine ,upholstery is probably original, no major tears, just well worn. Plan on replacing to suit yourself
I believe the engine had recently been rebuilt, it didn't smoke, knock or miss. But as Stated its been sitting for 4 yrs, The body is straight. The doors close good its got some surface rust in dash corners near A pillars, none that goes all the way thru. Its a good restorable car.
The trunk Pan has either been previously replaced or really in good shape, I'd lean to has been replaced. But can't say for sure.
As mentioned I was going to clone it into a 455 car, So I wasn't real concerned about its current Drive train. The Bumpers are straight and will need a re-chrome. What you see in pictures is what you will get. the pictures were taken 2 days ago.
If you are looking for a GS 455 Convertible see my other auction.
I will help get it on a transport, I'm not going to get it running ,So when arranging pick up keep that in mind. Think -Winch. I do have a tractor that could push it onto a car trailer. but a winch is going to be best plan, and most transporters are geared up for this, you just need to tell them in advance.
Its a Neat car that would be great for someone to get running and cruise around or restore. Your Choice, my intent was frame off restoration. To many Projects and not enough time.

This 1988 Buick LeSabre Estate Wagon looks like a boxy, wood-sided bargain
Fri, May 8 2020The growing interest in 1980s cars has meant that General Motors' full-size B-body station wagons of the era are now attracting the interest of collectors as well as iconoclasts seeking an SUV alternative. This 1988 Buick LeSabre Estate Wagon for sale right now on eBay Motors, looks to be a tempting example of the genre. It has covered just 72,000 miles and is described as a "rust-free southern car." The A/C is said to be cold, and it's equipped with power windows, a split-bench front seat and a rear-facing third seat. Whereas the Electra was the wagon for the finest estates, the LeSabre presumably was for those that were one rung down, so it has a slightly more downmarket maroon cloth interior where the Electra would have velour. Yet this LeSabre Estate Wagon is still slathered in a full complement of woodgrain siding, and this car sports a factory set of wire wheel covers. We're told the 5.0-liter V8 sound great, while the paint is said to be "a little tired" and one headlight looks like it needs to be replaced. The "Buy It Now" price is $8,500, and the seller is also inviting offers. Plus, 1% of the sales price benefits St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, so there's a feel-good factor. For comparison, this wagon's Oldsmobile twin currently being auctioned on Bring a Trailer already has been bid past $8,900 for four days still to go in the auction. This '83 Custom Cruiser has 74,000 miles and looks maybe a little spiffier, but not a lot more so. The seller of this Oldsmobile includes a video in his listing, and in it he appears to be not wearing pants. Sometimes it's all about presentation. Related Video:
Bob Seger's Detroit Made music video is an homage to the Motor City
Tue, 16 Sep 2014At this point, Bob Seger feels like the living embodiment of old-school rock 'n' roll. The Michigan native has been strumming out classic records like Night Moves for decades, and he just released a new single called Detroit Made. It sounds like a future staple of just about every classic car show within the next few years, and the video is dedicated to the Motor City, past and future.
Detroit Made is all about cruising in the city in a classic Buick Electra 225, perhaps better known as a "deuce and a quarter." It's straight-down-the-middle rock and could just as easily be from a decades-old Seger album as something new.
The video for the new single mixes shots of American classics cruising along Woodward Avenue with a contemporary look at the city. Sure, there are the well-known dilapidated buildings falling into rubble, but the people there aren't just letting the city die. Other parts show the attempts to clean things up and rebuild. Check out the video if you need a few minutes of old school rockin' in your life.
Buick's big boxy crossover design sketch looks surprisingly good
Fri, Sep 1 2023The current Buick lineup is fairly bland, consisting solely of amorphous crossovers in small, medium, and large. Fortunately, the brand is showing signs of life at the General Motors design studio with new products like the Envista, and where designers have envisioned (no pun intended) a large, boxy vehicle that looks like a Kia EV9 competitor. The unnamed premium crossover was penned by designer Geoffrey Richmond and has a well-defined profile with a traditional SUV's squarish greenhouse. It could portend the next-generation Enclave, which shares a similar fishhook headlight design. However, the illustration's front end is a lot more cohesive, with foglamp housings that meet at the outer edges of the headlights. The front end has sort of the Tesla EV duckbill thing going on, but a wide lower intake indicates that there could be an engine under the hood. In any case, this is just an ideation so there may not even be a platform to put this body on yet. That would be a shame, as the Enclave has been out since 2018 and could use a makeover. The V6-powered crossover was supposed to reposition the brand, and we found it quiet and surprisingly comfortable in our review. However, that hasn't been enough to catch on with trendsetters — Enclaves are rarer than Bentleys here in L.A. The "bar of soap" crossover trend is over. Nowadays, for better or worse, buyers want aggressive, rugged looking crossovers even if they're just going on a Target run. A bold design like the one Richmond painted might change the Enclave's fortunes. And maybe they can bring back the portholes. Related video: 2024 Buick Encore GX Nalgene water bottle test
