Up for bid is a 1971 Buick Skylark GS tribute project. I got this car project but decided to build something else. As you can see this car has a lot to offer. It has the factory 71 GS ram air hood with 400 ram air aircleaner. It also has the GSX trunk lid spoiler. However, i believe this is a reproduction. Bumpers are decent but not perfect. Trunk floor overall pretty solid as well as quarters. However, quarters have some bondo but not sure how much. Floor boards are rust free. no holes that i can see. Front fenders are rough. passenger side has rust through outside panel and inner brace. Driver side cut out but inner brace surface rust only. Can be made into a good fender. Car has no motor or transmission. I didn't get with car. Car has 14x7 Buick rallys with center caps. Interior is decent with normal wear and tare for a car of this age. Buckett seats are not stock and i'm not sure what they came out of. I do not have the keys to this car but entire car is unlocked including trunk. Car was originally lime mist with dark green interior. Car has b and m megashifter installed and goes with car. Side glass and back glass all good. Windshield has small rock chip but not split out. Can be filled easily. Doors are rust free and windows roll up and down easily. Core support not perfect but can be fixed. Has fairly new dual exhaust. Front grill 90% perfect. This grill is a skylark custom grill. It has two top mounts broke but with hood and headlight rings you cant see. I've described the best as i could. my 100% feedback score is important to me, so feel free to come and view or ask for specific pics and question through ebay. Some questions maybe hard for me to answer as i bought the car as you see it. I know more about these cars than the average person as i've been into Buick skylarks and gs's for more than 30 years. The reserve price is set quite low for what this car has to offer. Clear illinois title. All sells are final. Car has no warranty. $500.00 non-refundable deposit through paypal within 24 hours of auction end. Full payment due by seven days of auction end. Payment can be made through certified check, or cash. Title and car will not be released until all funds have cleared your bank and mine. Buyer is responsible for any and all shipping charges. Car is advertised locally and i reserve the right to end auction and anytime with no notice.

2014 Buick Regal gets the party rolling in NY
Wed, 27 Mar 2013Although the first day of the 2013 New York Auto Show kicks off bright and early this morning, Buick got a jump on the competition by unveiling the 2014 Buick Regal lineup last night. While the Regal received many upgrades for the 2014 model year, most of our attention was focused on the sedan's drivetrain.
When the new Regal hits dealers this fall, buyers opting for the new Regal Turbo will be welcomed by an additional 39 horsepower and 35 pound-feet of torque from the 2.0-liter turbo engine; the 2014 Regal GS now features the same output of 259 hp and 295 lb-ft, meaning that it has actually lost 11 hp over the 2013 model year. Buick says the reason for the GS' power loss comes from the fact that the newly available all-wheel-drive system forced the car to use a smaller diameter exhaust system, but representatives on hand assured us that the reduction of horsepower won't affect the car's performance and could even help improve fuel economy. And who knows? Maybe downgrading the power of the Regal GS also helps create a little breathing room for a future Grand National or GNX model...
Although the power under the hood is now the same, it is still impossible to confuse the two cars from the outside. Minor updates give both a fresher look, but the Regal GS has an unmistakeable aggression to it. The GS' interior also helps it stand apart from lower Regal trim levels with an eight-inch configurable gauge cluster similar to what is offered in the 2014 LaCrosse. The cabin of the Regal wasn't given an extensive makeover like the LaCrosse received, but the upgraded IntelliLink infotainment system and the cleaner center stack and steering wheel controls are appreciated changes.
2018 Buick Enclave First Drive Review | Fortress of quietude
Fri, Oct 6 2017ATLANTA, Ga. — The 2018 Enclave is part of Buick's effort to reinvigorate its brand, positioning itself as a maker of "attainable luxury" vehicles. That means a total redesign, a number of safety and technology upgrades, and the introduction of the Avenir sub-brand (think of that last one as sort of the Denali of Buick). It also means more space and more luxury. With this in mind, we traveled to Atlanta to get to know the new Enclave, both in the city and on a long drive through the Blue Ridge Mountains into North Carolina. Our first impressions of the new Enclave came not from the driver's seat, but from a captain's chair in the second row (which is the traditional seating arrangement for a true captain, of course). We were riding from the Atlanta airport to a studio to learn more about the vehicle. That very first impression was, "Wow, this interior is really nice." The leather upon which we sat was soft, smooth to the touch, and interesting in its shapeliness. Looking around the cabin, we saw a lot of gentle curves and thoughtful accents that made the inside of the Enclave feel downright premium. It was a fresh and airy sense of taste though, and definitely not the seasoned wood-and-whiskey stodginess one might expect from the Buick name. Our second impression: "Boy, it's quiet in here." Heading toward downtown Atlanta on the freeway, we were unable to pick up wind noise, and only just a smidge of road noise as the Enclave trundled over the occasional rough patch of pavement. This is, of course, completely intentional on the part of Buick. The windshield and front windows use acoustic glass. The doors are triple sealed for a tighter, quieter fit when closed. Buick has insulated the Enclave with more sound deadening and included active noise cancellation. "Our goal is to make it as social as possible," said Dean Perelli, chief engineer for the Enclave. And social it is. It is easy to carry on conversation across the Enclave's three roomy rows. When we got out of the Enclave, we had a chance to take it in from the outside. It features attractive, wing-like lighting front and rear. The front signature lighting uses technology called "Evonik Acrylite," (a mouthful, even for the engineers) which is a polycarbonate material arranged in a dazzling, faceted and delicate array. The paint finishes we saw were attractive, with depth.
Buick teases the next-gen LaCrosse
Sat, Oct 31 2015Buick continues to play coy about the next-generation LaCrosse, but the latest teaser hints at a swoopy profile for the upcoming sedan. While mostly just a silhouette, the teaser does provide a glimpse of the flowing roof and upward crease around the rear fenders – especially handsome touches. The rest of the LaCrosse remains a mystery. The only other part that we've seen is the Avenir-inspired grille, which features a more angular surround and chrome wings jutting from emblem in the center. Styling aside, the brand claims that the sedan is now more engaging behind the wheel thanks to a stronger, lighter chassis and five-link rear suspension. Powertrain rumors are rather vague but suggest the 3.6-liter V6 will be available when the model arrives at dealers in 2016. One thing we know for certain about the LaCrosse is that it debuts at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November. That only leaves a few more weeks for Buick to keep this mystery going. Related Video:
