2005 BUICK PARK AVENUE LET ME START BY SAYING THAT WE just purchased this lovely vehicle from a VERY SMALL DEALERSHIP OWNED AND OPERATED BY a mechanic and his wife. THEY TOOK THIS VEHICLE IN ON A TRADE AND ARE LOOKING TO MAKE SOMEONE HAPPY, SO PLEASE ASK ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS PRIOR TO BIDDING. THIS WAS A 2 OWNER VEHICLE ALWAYS PROPERLY MAINTAINED. THE FIRST FEW YEARS OF THIS CARS LIFE IT WAS MAINTAINED BY A BUICK DEALER. AFTER THAT IT WAS MOSTLY MAINTAINED BY OUR FACILITY. THEREFORE I KNOW THE CAR VERY WELL, BEEN MAINTAINING IT FOR YEARS. VERY NICE VEHICLE FOR ANYONE. THE CAR IS A VERY PRETTY SILVER IN COLOR WITH GREY LEATHER INTERIOR, ALSO VERY NICE CONDITION NO RIPS OR TEARS. THE CAR HAS BEEN IN THE MIDWEST ITS WHOLE LIFE SO IT IS STARTING TO SHOW SOME SMALL RUST AREAS ON THE LOWER DOORS. NOT BAD, JUST WANT TO BE CLEAR. OVERALL THE BODY AND INTERIOR ARE VERY NICE. RECENTLY REPLACED PARTS INCLUDE: TIRES, LESS THAN 5000 MILES AGO, INTERSTATE BATTERY, LESS THAN A YEAR AGO, PLUGS AND WIRES ABOUT A MONTH AGO, SERPENTINE BELT, BRAKES AND FUEL PUMP IN THE LAST YEAR. THIS GUY WAS A SALES MAN SO HE NEEDED HIS VEHICLE IN TIP TOP CONDITION, ALWAYS. HE ALWAYS TOLD ME IF IT NEEDS IT, DO IT. THIS BUICK HAS THE 3800 ENGINE IN IT AND IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THESE ENGINES YOU KNOW THEY ARE PRETTY MUCH BULLET PROOF. IF YOU HAVE LESS THAN 10 POSITIVE FEEDBACKS PLEASE CALL PRIOR TO BIDDING. THANKS AND GOOD LUCK TO ALL. THIS CAR IS FOR SALE LOCALLY, MAY END AT ANYTIME. So why are we selling...I just lost my job, so my loss is your gain....will make someone a really nice car A couple of things worth mentioning, no tears or rips in leather, interior carpets look great, non smoking, no pets in car; along with the minor rust, there is one small ding on front passenger quarter panel and a couple of scratches on bumper that is non noticeable in the pictures.

Autotrader picks best cars for 2015's college grads
Sun, May 31 2015Summer is here and the school season is winding to a close. That means millions of students will be graduating college and (hopefully) entering the workforce. For many, that will mean buying a new car suited to the new stage in life into which they will now be embarking. That can be a bewildering choice, especially for someone who's never bought a car before. Fortunately, Autotrader has come up with a short list of recommended cars – new and used – which it recommends to the graduating class of 2015. Among the site's top choices are some compelling crossovers and hatchbacks, including the Buick Encore, Chevy Trax, and Jeep Renegade, as well as the Honda Fit, Nissan Versa Note, Mazda3 and Fiat 500. Can't stretch to buying new, or don't see the point? Autotrader has also identified the Toyota Camry, Ford Fusion and even the Lexus IS as smart buys in the certified pre-owned category. "Any time someone goes through a major life change, such as graduating college, they need to determine if their current ride makes sense for their lifestyle, from both a financial and functional perspective," says Autotrader editor Brian Moody. "For example, while that hand-me-down SUV from your parents was nice when you turned 16, you may want to opt for a safer, more fuel-efficient car as you transition into the working world." Autotrader Names 10 Best Cars for Recent College Graduates ATLANTA, May 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- For many, graduating college is a milestone like no other – it represents a new chapter, a proud accomplishment and, fortunately or unfortunately, financial independence. Luckily for graduates who are in the market for a new car to suit their post-college lifestyle, Autotrader's expert editors say now is a great time to make a purchase, as dealerships are flush with affordable models that are fun, fuel-efficient and thoughtfully designed. Buick has best sales year ever, delivers over 1M cars globally
Wed, 08 Jan 2014If there are any lingering doubts why General Motors held onto Buick while killing Pontiac, Hummer and Saturn, one only has to look at the sales numbers from 2013 for the real answer. Thanks largely to strong sales in China, Buick set a global sales record last year by selling more than one million vehicles.
The lion's share of Buick sales came from China, which sold more than 809,000 units - about four times more Buicks than were sold in North America as a whole. In the US, the Buick Encore accounted for almost half of all US sales with 97,311 units as Buick spent the summer trying to keep up with demand of the subcompact crossover. Likewise, China-only models like the GL8 minivan and Excelle sedan (same as the US-spec Verano) were strong sellers in that market.
For good measure, Buick more than doubled its sales in Mexico with 2,319 units. Scroll down for the full press release.
GM issues stop-sale for 3 SUVs over incorrect MPG rating
Fri, May 13 2016This week, GM sent a memo to Chevy, GMC, and Buick dealers to tell them to stop selling three SUVS. The 2016 Chevy Traverse, the GMC Acadia, and the Buick Enclave all have EPA window stickers that show higher fuel economy ratings than the vehicles actually have. Unlike other recent – and very public – fuel economy ratings problems from VW and Mitsubishi, it doesn't seem like GM did anything wrong with the testing for these vehicles, it just misprinted the labels. New labels are being printed and should arrive at dealerships this weekend and early next week. After that, the SUVs will be able to be sold and delivered again. The official fuel economy rating for the three SUVs are all the same. The correct numbers for the all-wheel drive versions are 17 miles per gallon combined, 15 city, and 22 highway. The stickers say the SUVs get 17/24/19. The front-wheel driver models were also incorrectly labeled, and the total number of affected vehicles is 59,823. In the memo, GM said the problem was caused by an "inadvertent error," Automotive News says. GM is working with the EPA to solve the issue. We have asked GM for a comment on the mistake and will update this post if we hear back. Related Gallery 2013 GMC Acadia View 16 Photos News Source: Automotive News – sub. req.
