Hello,

Up for sale is my Sunday driver Muscle Car that turns a lot of heads and get's a lot of compliments while on the road. It's a solid automobile and runs very strong and very fast. She has about 650hp and if ran down the 1/4 mile, I'd say she'd probably run in the low 10's. That's an educated guess because I never had the chance take it to the drag strip. The car is running great and you could probably drive it to the drag-strip right now if you wanted. There's been around a total of $30k-$40k worth of work done to her over time which you can see for yourself and it's tuned just right.

Reason why I'm selling her is because I recently had lower back surgery and now I cannot bear sitting in the bucket seats for more than a minute or two before I get sharp pains! I strategically purchased this car so I could cruise to "Houston's Coffee & Cars" gatherings and take pride in having one of the fastest street legal cars there...

Here's a quick rundown of what she's got:

-1972 Buick 350 short block is all stock and a deep true y-block
-Original steel heads
-Mild cam and big crank
-Ported Heads
-Poston 114 cam/roller rockers
-Aluminum X-Factor intake (one of only three ever produced)
-Holley 650 w/full annular swap, aftermarket metering blocks, and new baseplate w/four corner idle (massively modified for blow through)
-All new top end gaskets
-Aluminum radiator with two speed fan
-Tri-Y turbo headers
-HEI distributor w/vacuum advance/boost retard
-MSD CD ignition box w/rev limiter
-Taylor 8mm wires
-High amp chrome one wire alternator
-Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump and Mallory referenced bypass regulator
-TA Performance high volume oil pump
-Two 50mm hybrid turbo's running through a 2 in, 1 out style intercooler and tuned conservatively at 8 psi
-Twin 35mm wastegates and dual blow off valves
-Full mandrel bent 3" exhaust
-Stainless perforated tube race mufflers
-TH350 transmission w/alto reds, kolene steels, stage 2 shift kit, extra frictions, and stand alone cool w/10" fan
-3800 rpm 9" nitrous converter
-B&M dual lockout Pro-Stick shifter w/custom aluminum .44 magnum revolver cylinder handle that holds live rounds (minus their primers)
-Stock driveshaft w/heavy duty universals
-Buick 10 bolt rearend with Richmond 4.56 ring and pinion, and Zytanium locker
-Back half suspension is made from 1/8" wall, 2x3" rectangular steel w/Camaro/Nova monoleafs

-Grant woodgrain/polished aluminum steering wheel
-Aluminum dashboard full of Autometer Sport Comp gauges
-Innovative wideband AFR system (electronic tuning)
-All new 1970 Buick GS fiberglass bumpers, hood, fenders, and truck lid from VFN
-New custom fabricated aluminum core support
-Battery in the trunk
-RCI 16 gallon fuel cell in the trunk
-Original drum brakes (pads are not original of course)

To go with the car, I have a brand new Stage 2 hood scoop with "Stage 2" stickers, Stage 1 fender badges, and all the Buick GS badges required to make this car resemble one of the last two Stage 2's left in this world: "The Jones and Benisek" (last picture/red car) and "Reynolds" 1970 Buick Skylark Stage 2's. I also have a water proof car cover and DOT approved helmet which I'll throw in for the winning bidder. The car is not a show car by all means as she is still in black primer, has scratches, and the windshield is cracked. But again, she turns heads like no other car I've had before and you will enjoy the attention too as you drive it down Main Street.

Please feel free to shoot me an email through eBay with any question you may have and Good Luck bidding! Car is sold as is with no warranty implied or expressed.

Some more photos of the car can be found on photobucket by looking up my library. My user name is blondknight.

To best answer some common questions I am receiving, I did not build the car. I bought it the way it sits from the owner of an auto performance and custom fabrication shop because I new it was built right. All parts and work done performed are of the highest quality.

1) Do you have the dyno data to substantiate the HP rating?
No, I don't have it.

2) If you built this car for the street, why 4.56 gears and no overdrive? And, why have the tailpipes exit under the car?
I bought it this way.

3) Are the wastegates adjustable?
No, they're not adjustable so some work will needed to be done to increase boost.

4) Does the title have any restrictions as to use?
Title is clear, car is registered in Texas, and it is street legal. Barely.

5) Are all lighting systems and gauges fully operational?
Yes and yes. The blinkers and high beams do not work.

Thanks and good luck bidding.

On Feb-10-13 at 17:07:30 PST, seller added the following information:

It has aftermarket Autometer gauges so I do not know the actual mileage. It reads about 29,000 and because the car is pretty solid, I just estimated it to be 129,000 FYI.

Buick Envision Plus is a seven-seater tweener developed for China

Tue, Apr 20 2021

Buick has filled the gap separating the Envision and the Enclave with a new crossover named Envision Plus. Launched at the Shanghai auto show, the three-row people-mover is scheduled to go on sale in China later in 2021. The plus-sized Envision stretches 190.7 inches long, 74.1 inches wide, and 66.7 inches tall, figures that make it around eight inches longer and two inches taller than the regular Envision. It's also a full 14 inches shorter, four inches narrower, and three inches lower than the Enclave, which is the biggest crossover in the Buick range. Designers didn't settle for stretching the Envision's wheelbase. They gave the Plus a more upright front end characterized by a taller grille, a flatter and longer roofline, and a redesigned rear end accented by a strip of bright trim that connects the lights. Only photos of the upscale Avenir trim (shown above) have been published so far. Images of the cabin are not available yet. We expect the Plus offers an interior close to the standard Envision's — from the driver's point of view, at least. The biggest difference is that the longer Envision lives up to its name by letting motorists take more gear or kids along for the ride thanks to a more spacious trunk and third-row seats. Power for the Envision Plus comes from a turbocharged, 2.0-liter EcoTec four-cylinder engine fitted with 48-volt mild-hybrid technology. Bolted to a nine-speed automatic transmission, the turbo-four is the same basic engine found in the American-spec Envision, where it develops 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, but figures for the Plus weren't released. Front- and all-wheel-drive models will presumably be available. Buick will release pricing information closer to the model's on-sale date. As of writing, the Envision Plus has only been announced for China, where it will be built, but unverified reports claim it will arrive in American showrooms before the end of 2021. We've reached out to the company, and we'll update this story if we learn more. 2021 Buick Verano Pro GS View 5 Photos What else did Buick show in Shanghai? Buick no longer sells sedans in America, but it remains present in that segment on the Chinese market. In addition to the Envision Plus, it unveiled a model named Verano Pro developed specifically for China, built locally, and aimed at relatively young buyers. At launch, motorists will be asked to choose between the regular sedan and a sportier-looking variant that wears the storied GS emblem.

Chevy Traverse, Hyundai Santa Fe revealed; Buick Envista, BMW M4 CSL driven | Autoblog Podcast #790

Fri, Jul 21 2023

In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Senior Editor John Beltz Snyder. After some banter, including the discussion of an excellent tomato sauce recipe, they get into car reviews. Greg has been driving the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53, while John has been testing the BMW M4 CSL and Buick's new Envista crossover. There's lots of interesting news this week. Chevy revealed the 2024 Traverse with new looks, a new engine and on off-road(ish) trim. Hyundai gave us a glimpse at the wild styling of the next Santa Fe. Dodge might bring back the Stealth nameplate as an SUV, and that has implications for the Durango as well. Ford, after repeatedly raising prices, has turned around and significantly discounted the F-150 Lightning across all trims. The first Tesla Cybertruck has rolled off the line as a pre-production prototype. Finally, we reach in to the mailbag and help a listener decide what to do with cars for himself and his kids in this week's Spend My Money segment. Buick Envista Luggage Test: How much cargo space?

Mon, Oct 2 2023

First, I am well aware that there is an inflatable hearse on my lawn, which is also haunted. Just go ahead and get used to that background for a few weeks.  Second, the 2024 Buick Envista is a great car! Easily the most surprising thing I've driven this year, and although I'll go into everything else in a full review coming soon, the cargo area contributes to that general sense of pleasant surprise. The specs say it has 20.7 cubic-feet of space, which would be consistent with the subcompact SUV segment it competes with on price (even if it's more comparable to a compact in terms of length). Let's see how that amount translates into actual stuff. At first look, I was not expecting good things. Yes, its ample length is pretty indicative of a compact SUV, but the height is nowhere close. With the rigid cargo cover in place, it basically looks like a trunk -- but more on that cover in a moment.  Unlike most subcompact and compact SUVs, the Envista does not offer a dual level cargo floor that adds extra cargo space while still making a fold-flat back seat possible. In other words, Buick is clearly leaving some cubic-feet on the table here. This cover would be of the gigantic, rigid, nowhere-to-keep-it-in-the-car, hatchback variety. I am not a fan, especially for the Envista. You're about to see why. Bring on the bags. As with every Luggage Test, I use two midsize roller suitcases that would need to be checked in at the airport (26 inches long, 16 wide, 11 deep), two roll-aboard suitcases that just barely fit in the overhead (24L x 15W x 10D), and one smaller roll-aboard that fits easily (23L x 15W x 10D). I also include my wife's fancy overnight bag just to spruce things up a bit (21L x 12W x 12D). That would be the three biggest bags, but that's all you're fitting. I tried to dislodge the cover and let it rest on top, but nope, liftgate wouldn't close. At least the middle bit of the cargo cover has that raised middle bit that perfectly wrapped around my big blue bag. Without that, this result would've been even worse.  So, if you were picking up someone from the airport, they had more bags than this and you forgot to remove the cargo cover, you'd be in trouble. If, however, you remember to chuck the cargo cover ... Holy cow, all the bags fit!  I was genuinely surprised by this result. The Tetris formation is a little weird, but it wasn't hard to fit everything in here.
