I have a 1970 Buick GS Stage one body shell and frame for sale. I have owned the car since 1989, used to drive it every day until I tore it apart with the intention of restoration. Unfortunately, the dog house, interior and BB transmission didn't make it through a shop fire. The original Stage 1 engine is long gone and the posi rearend is in my 1967 GS so there's not much left. The doors (w/ power windows) and trunk lid aren't too bad - could be saved, the frame has surface rust but is in pretty decent shape, all glass is decent with the exception of the front windshield and passenger side door (cracked and broken), rear bumper would be a good trade in core - straight but chrome is really faded. Has disc braked on the front. The quarter panels are mostly bondo that is falling out, floor boards and trunk are rusted through. Someone in the early '80's decided to put in a sun roof for some reason. Body tag number #ST 70 44637 FL1 086149; VIN # 446370H162605. Pick up only, buyer responsible for pick up and all shipping - I can help load it. Pay pal or cashiers check only. $500 due within 24hrs of the end of the auction with the balance due within 7 days. I've tried to put down everything you'll need to know but feel free to ask for more details if you need them. This is being relisted. Only Serious Bids Please.

GM says over 40% of new China launches in next five years will be EVs
Wed, Aug 19 2020SHANGHAI — General Motors is planning an electric car offensive in China with more than 40% of its new launches in the country over the next five years set to be electric vehicles (EVs), the U.S. carmaker said on Wednesday. GM's electric vehicles, many of which will be all-electric battery cars, will be manufactured in China with almost all parts coming from local suppliers, the company said in a statement released at its Tech Day event in Shanghai. Reuters reported earlier on Wednesday that GM was planning to overhaul its Chinese line-up to stem a slide of sales after more than two decades of growth in a country that contributes nearly a fifth of its profit. GM's new China boss Julian Blissett told Reuters that new technologies, such as EVs and cars with near hands-free driving for highways, would play a key role in GM's China initiatives, which are part of a push to get annual sales in the country back to the 4 million peak it hit in 2017. GM did not say in its statement how many new or significantly redesigned models it was planning to launch in China over the next five years. "China will play a crucial role in making our vision a reality," GM CEO Mary Barra said in the statement, referring to its initiative to create what it describes as a future of "zero crashes, zero emissions and zero congestion" through electrification and smart-driving technologies. GM has said it plans to invest more than $20 billion in electric and automated vehicles globally by 2025. It was not clear how much of that investment will be spent in China. GM recalls 51k Enclave, Traverse, Acadia crossovers over fuel gauge inaccuracy
Mon, 05 May 2014With all eyes fixed on General Motors in the wake of the ignition recall debacle, the auto giant has been carefully calling in a wide array of vehicles to fix anything and everything that could prove problematic. Just the other day it issued two separate recalls - one concerning the Cadillac SRX and another its heavy-duty pickups - and now it is issuing another.
This time the vehicles in question are the Buick Enclave, Chevy Traverse and GMC Acadia, three fullsize crossovers based on GM's Lambda platform. In an estimated 51,640 units manufactured between March 26 and August 15, 2013, the engine control module has been found to incorrectly display the level of fuel in the tank.
As a result, owners are being notified to bring their vehicles in to their local dealers to have the ECU reflashed to fix the problem. View the full details in the announcement below from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
