Hellro, I'm Dickie. I started in the car business the year I graduated from college. ( 1974 ). I started using Ebay motors about ten years ago. Now I buy cars one at a time, thoroughly inspect them and if they meet my standards I'll buy them to sell here and locally. ( I don't buy trade-ins or cars people are getting rid of ). I also don't exaggerate about the condition of my cars. Words like: pristine, "like new" showroom condition etc. I very seldom use. This car is the exception. It was bought new on 6 - 9 - 2000, for over $24,000.00. ( one owner, non smoker ) The original window sticker was placed in a zip lock bag and put with the owner's manual in the glove compartment. The interior shows no wear, even the floor mats. I bought this car in the condition you see in the pictures. The engine compartment is as clean as the interior and the original paint is as glossy as it was when new. This car should be driven to really appreciate it's condition. My wife and I drive every one of our cars, so we are very familiar with every aspect of their condition. Simply put: This car is about the closest you can get to " new " that I have seen in the hundreds of cars I've sold in the last forty years. I truly mean that. Please read the window sticker to see what this car has. Too much to list here. This car needs absolutely nothing. Tires are like new as well as the four wheel disc brakes. It has had impeccable maintenance over the years. If you are near enough to me, you won't be disappointed if you come and take it for a drive. It's that nice. By the way, I only sell cars on this site,so you don't have to search my feedback for someone who bought a car from me. Every feedback from a buyer is for a car. No exceptions. So if you are in the market for a like new, pristine car under $4000.00, I don't think you will find a nicer one anywhere. J.D. Power customer survey of dealers counts Cadillac, Buick as big winners
Mon, 14 Apr 2014Cadillac and Buick have taken the trophies in J.D. Power's latest Customer Service Index Study examining satisfaction with dealer service. Surveying more than 90,000 owners and lessees of 2009-2013 model-year cars, the study found that those with pre-paid maintenance packages were ten percent more likely to buy their next car from the same brand.
Dealer satisfaction scores have improved overall, Cadillac nabbed the luxury segment ahead of Audi and Lexus, taking the crown that Lexus held last year. Buick keeps the mass-market dealer satisfaction win in the family, finishing ahead of Volkswagen and last year's winner GMC. The study also found that service department use of tablets increased customer satisfaction, as did "best practices" like "providing helpful advice." Who knew?

2014 Buick Regal GS
Mon, 09 Sep 2013A few months ago I drove the 2014 Buick LaCrosse and wrote up a First Drive review of it. For all of my quibbles with that sedan (and I had a fair number), I understand that it speaks to the heart of what new Buick loyalists like in a car; it's roomy, has a cushy ride and is as placid as a summer's morning at highway speeds.
Those qualities, while undeniably desirable, don't mean a whole lot to me personally. I prefer sedans that conjure up words like "nimble," "punchy" or even "raucous" on occasion. So, directionally, the high-performance GS version of the 2014 Buick Regal is more my cup of tea than any other car in the company's current range.
In fact, I'd already come to know the Regal GS from its 2012 model year introduction, and grown more than a little fond of the sporting sedan in its original front-wheel-drive, six-speed-manual guise. The fast, sweet-handling car with well-sorted controls may have suffered from a slight identity crisis in terms of pricing (and may still), but it was undeniably fun to drive. So, when I heard that the GS was coming to market for 2014 with optional all-wheel drive (albeit only in combination with a six-speed automatic transmission), I was stoked to have another go and concentrated my driving impressions on the AWD car.
Buick announces Ultium-based EV for the Chinese market
Wed, Nov 23 2022Buick will expand its presence in the EV segment by launching a five-seater crossover on the Chinese market before the end of 2022. The model will use the Ultium technology developed by parent company General Motors, and it will be closely followed by another electric car. Official details about the model remain few and far between; we don't even know what it will be called yet. The company published an image that shows an electric platform topped by the outline of a crossover, and it clarified power will come from a battery pack with cells "tailored for China." The battery-powered Buick will also be available with the Super Cruise technology found in other General Motors models. The outline shares more than a passing resemblance with the heavily-camouflaged test mule that our spies spotted testing earlier in 2022, but it's difficult to tell whether we're looking at the same car. Trademark filings suggest Buick has several electric cars in the pipeline. While the crossover won't be the first electric Buick — the Velite 6 MAV went on sale in China in 2019 — executives have high hopes for it. To that end, the company will open up to 58 Buick EV City showrooms and over 600 Buick NEV Zones across China. It's also working with "mainstream third-party charging operators" to make over 400,000 charging points available throughout China by the end of 2023. Buick will release additional details about its upcoming electric model before the end of 2022, and deliveries are scheduled to start in the first half of 2023 on the Chinese market. As of writing, it's too early to tell whether the EV will join the Envista on its trip across the Pacific or stay in China. Looking ahead, the brand announced plans to release a second electric car built around Ultium technology before the end of 2023.
