For Sale is an incredibly well cared for 2005 Buick LeSabre Celebrity Edition. This LeSabre was elderly owned for most of its life in Florida by our neighbor's parents. We purchased it when they could no longer drive and my wife has had it for the last few years. It has always been garaged by both owners to protect the car when not in use and washed/waxed frequently. It has 143,000 miles on GM's legendary 3800 V6 and included are many receipts for maintenance with the car. It had Mobil 1 for oil changes at 3,000 mile intervals and burns no oil in between oil changes. It recently passed inspection and everything on it runs perfectly. Also included is the original window sticker, all manuals, and 2 sets of keys with 2 keyless fobs. The beautiful "Pearl White Metallic" paint has incredible depth and shine. The exterior has a couple small door dings, a small dent on the RF fender and a bumper flaw that I think are very normal for a car of this year....easily repairable if someone wanted to make the car "perfect". Overall, the car looks incredibly impressive and gets compliments at the gas station and local retail stores. The interior has also been well cared for. The tan leather seats were well cared for and are in perfect condition -- no rips, tears or scuffs. Extra mats were always used over the factory mats to keep things protected. This LeSabre has a ton of terrific features including: Most recently, this Buick has been treated to a set of high quality Nokian all-season winter-rated tires, new battery and new rear air shocks. Other normal maintenance has been performed over the years and many receipts are available. This gorgeous LeSabre starts, runs, and drives like you'd expect from a Buick...extremely comfortable, powerful and luxurious ride. The ride is incredible, yet the car handles quite well too. Around town, expect mileage in the mid 20's, but 29-32MPG on the highway is very normal. (My wife just got 32 MPG on a 500 mile trip to/from Buffalo NY last weekend). This car starts, shifts and runs perfect - no odd noises or burning or leaking oil. Kelly Blue Book Retail (with this mileage) is $6916 KBB Average Private Seller (with this mileage) is $5131 in Good Condition. My Buy-it-Now price is $4750. Vehicle is also for sale locally and may be removed prior to auction close if no Buy-It-Now. We are purchasing my elderly parent's car for my wife, so this one must go. Very low starting bid and no reserve......it's gotta go! Please call Eric at (607) 351-5999 with any questions or email/ebay questions in advance of bidding. You bid is your commitment to purchase the vehicle! It really must sell and I don't have time to relist it for non-paying bidders. Payment must be received in full within 7 days of bid closing ($500 deposit on PayPal within 48 hours). I'm willing to deliver it within 150 mile radius of Ithaca, NY if Buy-it-Now and paid for within 7 days. Otherwise, you must arrange for your own transport of the vehicle.

2022 Buick Enclave revealed with a handsome new look
Thu, Jan 21 2021Here is the 2022 Buick Enclave! That's all now. Move along. At least, that’s according to Buick, which offered no information beyond these two photos. We know itÂ’s for the 2022 model year, and we know it will go on sale “later this year.” The visual changes are obvious enough on their own. It amounts to what weÂ’d expect a mid-cycle refresh would look like. Buick gave it a totally new front and rear. WeÂ’re most taken by the new look up front, though. That grille gives it the presence it was lacking before, and the horizontal slashes meeting in the middle at the Buick logo are a nice touch. New LED headlights are slimmed way down and tuck in neatly under the hood. Even the lower bumper adds some pizazz with swooping lines and a handsome, verging on sporty, finish. Nothing much changes in the middle, but sharp LED taillights steal the show in back. TheyÂ’re still connected by a central trim piece, but itÂ’s been darkened and massaged to a cleaner look. Buick also looks like it has gone for a concealed exhaust design — it had a visible dual exhaust pipe exit before. The last obvious change is a new set of dark-painted wheels. There are certainly a number of tech updates to be found on the interior, but Buick isnÂ’t talking about (or showing) those yet. WeÂ’ll have to wait for a later date to know every last detail of the refreshed Enclave. For now, the styling changes are a nice change of pace and make it look far more appealing. Related video:

Mon, 29 Oct 2012GM's Flagship Lambda Is (Still) A Smooth Operator
Consumers shopping for a domestic full-size crossover have heard all about GM's triplets. The Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave are a very appealing and talented group of siblings. Entering their fifth year of production, albeit middle-age in the automotive industry, each is attractive, well-rounded and very capable on the paved dance floor. While all share nearly identical base DNA and the same basic running gear, subtle physical differences and unique personalities emerge between the trio when one digs a bit deeper.
The most polished of the threesome, without question, is the Enclave from Buick. Fresh off a mid-cycle update (as are its siblings), the flagship of the platform boasts a facelift, innovative new features and an upgraded demeanor for the new model year.
The 10 car brands cheapest to maintain over 10 years
Mon, Apr 22 2024Buying a car can be fun and bring a lot of freedom, but things can go sideways when it comes time for repairs. Some car brands are better than others, however, and Consumer Reports recently ranked the least- and most-expensive brands for owners to repair. There are few surprises on this list, but the cheapest new car and the runner-up might come as a shock. Tesla and Buick were the cheapest new car brands to maintain and repair over 10 years, followed by Toyota, Lincoln, and Ford. 10 car brands cheapest to maintain over the next 10 years: Tesla: $4,035 Buick: $4,900 Toyota: $4,900 Lincoln: $5,040 Ford: $5,400 Chevrolet: $5,550 Hyundai: $5,640 Nissan: $5,700 Mazda: $5,800 Honda: $5,850 Consumer Reports noted that maintenance costs for some brands can look deceiving, as many offer free maintenance for a period after the purchase. New-car warranties also play a role, with the powertrain coverage spanning four or five years and 50,000 or 60,000 miles, depending on the company. It's also worth noting that Tesla only sells EVs, which don't require engine air filters, oil changes, and some other routine maintenance, lowering their average costs. Related: Cheapest electric cars Cheapest SUVs The most expensive brands to maintain might not come as a surprise, but the costs associated with owning them might. Land Rover was the worst, at $19,250 over 10 years, while Porsche came in second at $14,090. Mercedes-Benz’s average costs were $10,525 and AudiÂ’s $9,890. While this suggests that these brands need more frequent repairs over the 10-year period, it also points to higher labor and parts costs for the European automakers. If you own one of the more expensive brands to maintain and youÂ’re worrying as you read this, there are a few things you can do to prolong your vehicleÂ’s life and minimize unnecessary maintenance costs. The first is to follow the automakerÂ’s suggested maintenance periods, changing your oil, rotating tires, and doing all the “boring” stuff before it becomes a problem. ItÂ’s also a good idea to take care with the way you drive, avoiding potholes, accelerating gently, and trying not to abuse your brakes. Finally, donÂ’t modify your vehicle. Car companies spend billions on research and development, and most know better about how a vehicle is meant to operate than you do in your garage with third-party parts.
