Up for sale is a beautiful 2008 Buick Lacrosse CXL with only 70708 documented miles finished in the beautiful red jewel tint coat metallic with the ebony leather interior all complimented with the chrome wheels.

This 2008 Buick Lacrosse CXL was originally a GM company vehicle and loaded with most of the wonderful Buick options.  Some of the options include AM-FM, CD, XM radio, back up warning assist, both power seats, factory remote start along with all the standard Buick accessories.  Should be noted all standard equipment and options work perfectly.

The body is very straight with no dents, dings and no rust and has always been garage kept. There has been two incidents as far as very minor accidents.  The drivers outside mirror has been replaced and the front bumper cover was scuffed on the right front corner in a parking lot.  The bumper cover was removed and painted properly and the drivers mirror was painted and installed.  It should be noted that the paint work matches perfectly.

The interior is immaculate and looks brand new with no signs of wear.  Also, this is a non-smoker automobile.  The trunk is also immaculate.

The drive train consists of the ever durable 3800 V-6 engine with the 4 speed automatic transmission.  The engine and transmission perform perfectly with no issues.  All maintenance has been done on a regular basis and always using GM parts. All servicing is current and also has 4 new BF Goodrich Advantage tires with computer balance.

Overall, this is an extremely clean and very nice 2008 Buick Lacrosse CXL that has been very well maintained both mechanically and in appearance.

NHTSA may greatly expand GM airbag recall

Wed, 05 Jun 2013

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is pondering whether to dramatically upscale a pair of airbag recalls on General Motors vehicles. The two existing campaigns, one launched in the fall of 2012 and the other in January of this year covered just 6,845 vehicles, but the government agency is considering whether to boost the recall to around 400,000 units.
The existing recalls involve the the closely related 2012 Buick Verano (shown) and Chevrolet Cruze sedans, along with Sonic and Camaro models. The root of the problem is a shorting bar in the inflator module of the steering-wheel-mounted airbag that may contact the primary state airbag terminal, a condition that could prevent deployment in an accident. Dealer technicians have been replacing the steering wheel airbag coils to fix the issue.
According to a post on NHTSA's website, the root cause, said to be a production issue, may not have been completely isolated - particularly for the second recall, which was for the Camaro. According to Automotive News, GM says it is cooperating with the government investigation, but won't say whether or not it knows the true origin of the problem.

GM recalls 51k Enclave, Traverse, Acadia crossovers over fuel gauge inaccuracy

Mon, 05 May 2014

With all eyes fixed on General Motors in the wake of the ignition recall debacle, the auto giant has been carefully calling in a wide array of vehicles to fix anything and everything that could prove problematic. Just the other day it issued two separate recalls - one concerning the Cadillac SRX and another its heavy-duty pickups - and now it is issuing another.
This time the vehicles in question are the Buick Enclave, Chevy Traverse and GMC Acadia, three fullsize crossovers based on GM's Lambda platform. In an estimated 51,640 units manufactured between March 26 and August 15, 2013, the engine control module has been found to incorrectly display the level of fuel in the tank.
As a result, owners are being notified to bring their vehicles in to their local dealers to have the ECU reflashed to fix the problem. View the full details in the announcement below from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

2014 Chevy Malibu, Buick LaCrosse recalled over brake mix-up

Thu, 08 May 2014

The recall madness over at General Motors isn't letting up anytime soon, as evidenced by this latest call-back of 8,208 Chevrolet Malibu and Buick LaCrosse sedans. For those keeping track, this is the fifth recall that GM has announced in the past two weeks, not to mention the massive ignition-switch issue from earlier this year.
GM issued a statement saying these sedans are being recalled due to "possible reduced braking performance," according to Automotive News. The problem? Rear brake rotors may have accidentally been installed in the front brake assembly. And since both cars use more robust braking systems up front than out back, braking power could be reduced, increasing the risk of a crash.
Automotive News reports that, of the over 8,000 cars being recalled, about 1,700 are currently in the hands of customers, while the others are still in dealer inventory. GM is unaware of any crashes or injuries related to this problem. All of the affected vehicles are from the 2014 model year.
