1968 Buick Electra 225 on 2040-cars

This is a nice, super-solid car, originally from Nashville, TN. There is no rust or dents in the sheet metal. One repaint is faded. Bumpers are super shiny, one has a small dent (that's what bumpers are for). Original cloth is good with some water stains, but no rips or tears. Headliner good. The car is registered and insured, it runs and drives fine. Tires are good. Took a nail in one, so the spare is on the car, not an exact match. I did about 1500 in front end repairs a few years ago, including the drag link and anything else that was needed. About 4 years ago I had the driveshaft redone inculing all Ujoints and Carrier Bearing. The air conditioning prob needs a recharge and update. The brake booster behaves well in warm months , but in cold months it hisses a little, the pedal goes weak, but then seals up and still stops the car. I recommend replacing the Brake booster. Radio not working, antenna is busted off. I think this is a drive it anywhere car.

OnStar RemoteLink mobile app coming standard on all new GM vehicles
Thu, 06 Jun 2013As an evolution and improvement of its OnStar technology, General Motors has announced that it will be expanding the RemoteLink Mobile App on most 2014 model year Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles. The new, aptly named RemoteLink Key Fob Services will allow users to remotely operate all of the same systems as the car's key fob, including locking and unlocking the doors and remote starting (on vehicles equipped with a factory remote starter) using a smartphone.
These Key Fob Services will be free for five years - starting from the vehicle's delivery date - but the full suite of RemoteLink features will continue to be offered only with a subscription (trial or paid). These premium features include contacting a live adviser, getting turn-by-turn directions and remotely monitoring the vehicle's diagnostic systems.
