2010 - Bmw 1-series on 2040-cars
Atlanta, Texas, United States

REDUCED 500 BELOW KBB VALUE FOR CONDITION. Up for sale is a 2010 BMW 128i coupe with just over 42,000 miles (~8500/year). I ordered this after Thanksgiving 2009 and hand-picked every option (41K NEW) then waited two months for the build and delivery. It's the best car I've ever had and it drives beautifully. I'm only selling to raise money for family medical bills. Aside from a few small dings on the rear bumper and a stone chip on the hood it's in excellent shape inside and out. Leather is beautiful and clean - driver seat has some wear and staining consistent with age. There are no mechanical issues and everything works as it should. That said the car is being sold AS-IS without a warranty, although extended warranties are available by searching online. New Bridgestone run-flat tires were installed 11/28/14. New Front brakes 9/7/13; New Rear brakes 7/8/14. All maintenance has been performed at the dealer and I have all documentation. Check out the pics and let me know if you are interested in going for a test drive (bring license and proof of insurance). Features and Options: -3.0 LITER, 230 HP INLINE 6 CYLINDER ENGINE -AUTOMATIC 6-SPEED STEPTRONIC TRANSMISSION WITH SPORT MODE -DYNAMIC STABILITY CONTROL & TRACTION CONTROL -ANTILOCK BRAKES WITH DYNAMIC BRAKE CONTROL, BRAKE FADE COMPENSATION -AUTOMATIC CLIMATE CONTROL WITH HOT WEATHER PROGRAMMABLE VENTILATION SYSTEM AND CABIN FILTER -RAIN SENSING WIPERS -POWER FOLDING, AUTO-DIMMING, HEATED EXTERIOR MIRRORS -DRIVER/PASSENGER FRONT, SIDE AND HEAD CURTAIN AIRBAGS -NAVIGATION AND I-DRIVE SYSTEM WITH 10" WIDESCREEN, DVD PLAYBACK, IPOD CONTROL, 30GB INTEGRATED HARD DRIVE MEDIA PLAYER -AUTOMATIC ADAPTIVE BI-XENON HEADLIGHTS (THEY TURN TO FOLLOW THE ROAD) -COLD WEATHER PKG: HEATED FRONT SEATS, HEATED MULTIFUNCTION STEERING WHEEL, SKI BAG PASS THROUGH, HEATED HEADLIGHT WASHERS -PREMIUM PKG: HOMELINK AUTO-DIMMING INTERIOR MIRROR, WALNUT TRIM ON DASH AND DOORS, GLASS MOONROOF, POWER SEATS WITH LUMBAR, BLUETOOTH -ALARM WITH SELECTABLE AUDIO AND VISUAL CONFIRMATION -PARK DISTANCE CONTROL (REAR) WITH SONAR MONITOR ON I-DRIVE SCREEN -ONBOARD CHECK CONTROL AND MAINTENANCE MONITOR (OIL, BRAKES, TIRES, BULBS...) -TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR; RUN FLAT TIRES (NEW) -CARPET AND ALL-WEATHER MATS, TRUNK MAT -OWNERS MANUAL, 2 KEYS, SERVICE RECORDS The color is Deep Sea Blue metallic with a two-tone Savanna Beige and Black Boston leather interior. Please, only serious inquiries and no low-ball offers. *The BMW Maintenance Program covers all factory recommended maintenance as determined by the Condition Based Service (CBS) system. Additional specific items that need replacement due to normal wear and tear, and that are not covered by the original New Vehicle Limited Warranty - such as brake pads, brake rotors, and wiper blade inserts - are included, provided wear and tear exceeds BMW wear limits.

Fastest and most powerful SUVs in America for 2022
Wed, Nov 10 2021Here in the United States, we enjoy power almost as much as we like our SUVs. Thankfully, we’ve got plenty of both. Traditionally, the most powerful SUVs source their massive horsepower and torque from some form of a V8. While thatÂ’s still generally the case, electrification comes into play more and more, whether itÂ’s mild-hybrid tech, a plug-in hybrid powertrain or, as is the case with the two vehicles topping this list, fully electric vehicles. As we enter the 2022 model year, letÂ’s look at the most powerful SUVs available. Before we dive in, letÂ’s address the elephant that is waiting just outside the door. Due to supply shortages, Mercedes-Benz is shelving most V8 models for the 2022 model year. Some 2021 models can still be found in dealer inventories, but we wonÂ’t include them. With that in mind, letÂ’s dive into the list. 2022 Audi RS Q8 — 591 hp / 190 mph Read our review of the Audi RS Q8 The only Audi on this list is a hot little number, which we characterized as “an uncompromising option in a field of compromised options.” Powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 (which seems to be a popular format in this list), its 591 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque get it scootinÂ’ to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds, and on to a top speed of 190 mph. It even has the bragging rights of holding the Nurburgring lap record for an SUV.  2022 Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge — 592 hp / 155 mph (limited) Read our review of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan This is one SUV where being a passenger might be more exciting than sitting in the driverÂ’s seat, thanks to over-the-top luxury — what do you expect from a car that costs over $350,000? The driver doesnÂ’t go unrewarded, though, with a turbocharged 6.75-liter V12 at their disposal. Thanks to the Black BadgeÂ’s software upgrade, it makes 592 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque to help get to its electronically limited top speed of 155 mph that much quicker.  2022 BMW Alpina XB7 — 612 hp / 180 mph Read our review of the BMW Alpina XB7 Alpina takes already impressive BMW vehicles and turns them into even more powerful, more luxurious machines. The Alpina XB7 improves upon the BMW X7 with a biturbocharged 4.4-liter V8 offering up 612 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. ThatÂ’s good for a 4.0-second 0-60 sprint and a 180-mph top speed. Alpina also adds its own transmission and drivetrain tuning, upgraded suspension, exhaust and a whole slew of unique appearance touches.
BMW Concept 4 Series Coupe proves that 3-2=4
Mon, 14 Jan 2013BMW may be calling this 4 Series Coupe a concept, but take a long, hard look - this will be the car that replaces the 3 Series Coupe in the automaker's lineup. Don't let that number change trip you up. This car will have all the basic elements of what makes a 3 Series coupe so popular, and while this isn't technically the production model (there are still come conceptual elements and we don't have powertrain details), it's pretty much what we can look forward to seeing out on the road very soon. And honestly, the naming strategy isn't that weird (though it's still plenty odd) - BMW will be using even numbers for all its coupes and convertibles moving forward. 1 Series, meet 2 Series. And when a 3 Series loses two doors, it becomes a 4 Series.
Dimensionally, the new 4 Series coupe is 1.7-inches wider, half an inch shorter in overall height, and rides on a 2.0-inch longer wheelbase. It's a really pretty thing, with bold, aggressive body sculpting up front, and a rear deck that's sort of like a downsized version of the larger 6 Series two-door. It's all very handsome, but we'll reserve final judgment until we see the production version with its likely smaller wheels and possibly toned-down visuals.
We don't yet have powertrain details, but we fully expect the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and 3.0-liter turbo-six to carry over in 328i 428i and 435i guise. Though remember, other 3.0-liter models in BMW's range use 40i designation, so we could possibly be looking at a 440i Coupe, instead. We won't know until the production car officially bows later this year.
MotorWeek fondly remembers the 2000 BMW M5
Fri, May 15 2015The Retro Review series from MotorWeek tends to reminisce about vehicles at are at least 20 years old and often from even further back. However, the show's latest recollection shines the spotlight on a fondly remembered sports sedan that's also a modern classic: the 2000 BMW M5. Years before BMW committed to downsized engines with turbocharging and shortly prior to the introduction of iDrive, the E39 M5 showed the Bavarian brand's engineering talents at their very best. By modern standards, the sedan's powertrain is almost antiquated. Up front, there's a big, naturally aspirated V8 that sends power to the rear wheels, and the only choice of transmission is a six-speed manual. But as MotorWeek explains, the tuning of the whole vehicle comes out to near perfection. This is a model that's definitely worth remembering.
