In addition to the usual features, car has the Cold Weather Package, with heated and cooled seats, driver’s seat massage, heated steering wheel and a ski bag pass through from the trunk. Also features 19" wheels, electric rear and side curtains, satellite radio, blue tooth telephone connection and premium sound system. Doors unlock when you approach the vehicle, and doors & trunk pull themselves closed electronically. Parking warnings with audible as well as visual assist. Recent full set of Pirelli tires installed. T his car has been serviced impeccably, and it has required zero repairs. One wheel rim has been roughed up by a curb, but can be replaced with perfect, identical spare. More powerful than my lighter 540 sedan and better gas mileage in spite of its heavier footprint. Without question, the best of several luxury cars I have owned.

BMW sold 2.49 million BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce vehicles in 2018
Tue, Jan 8 2019FRANKFURT — German carmaker BMW on Tuesday said it achieved record sales of 2.49 million BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce vehicles last year. "BMW Group achieved record sales in 2018. 2.49 million vehicles mean the BMW Group is the world's leading premium automotive company for the 15th year running," Chief Executive Harald Krueger said. In 2017, BMW Group sold 2.46 million vehicles. Daimler has not yet released annual sales figures for Mercedes-Benz passenger cars, so it remains unclear whether BMW brand overtook Mercedes-Benz in terms of sales in 2018. Sales of BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce cars were higher than Mercedes-Benz in 2017.

The List: The Red BMW - A Retrospective
Mon, 23 Dec 2013We can't help but use this time of year to look back at the days before and reminisce about friends who are no longer in our lives. For The List, Jessi and Patrick were often joined by a little, red BMW 3 Series that, at times, felt like a third host of the show. Having been bought used for just a thousand bucks, the red BMW proved to be surprisingly durable. Through jumps, dunks and monster trucks, it remained our little trooper 'till the very end, and on the way taught us all how important a faithful four-wheeled companion is to the life's work of completing one's automotive bucket list.
