2004 Bmw Z4 3.0i Convertible 2-door 3.0l on 2040-cars
Orange, Connecticut, United States
|
2004 BMW Z4 3.0i. Top of the range for the year with leather heated seats, climate control, sports pack and power roof. 6 speed manual transmission. It has been a Connecticut car all of it's life. It has a zero accident record as can be verified by a clean Carfax report. It has just had it's pre summer service at the BMW dealer last week which included oil and filter change, brake fluid change and a full system check. It passed the Connecticut emission test on 3/17/14. The performance tires were new last year and are non run flats (a tire repair and inflation kit comes with it). The battery was replaced just over 2 years ago and it had a windscreen replacement a year ago after a way-wood rock from an oncoming car.
The car is in good condition for it's age and mileage and runs extremely well. It has a few nicks and dings from car park incidents etc. and some road rash on the front from Connecticut roads. There is some curb rash on a couple of the wheels. All typical of a car that has been driven. The interior is in very good condition. It still has the original floor mats and the carpet under them is like new. The leather seats are in great condition. I have all of the original manuals that came with the car from new and 2 keys. Not much more to say. A very nice Z4 that is serviced and ready for the summer. Please look at the photos and ask any questions via ebay. If you are in the Connecticut area you are welcome to come and take a look before bidding. I am willing to assist with shipping if that is what you want to do however all shipping cost and organization is the responsibility of the buyer. I see the automated ebay history report says 2 accidents. I have no knowledge of these and in fact have a clean Carfax report that says no accidents when I bought it (actually has a certificate from Carfax).Sorry for the confusion as I am equally confused. |

The BMW M8 leads this month's list of discounts
Mon, Sep 21 2020Back in June of this year, the BMW 8 Series was the most heavily discounted vehicle in America. This month, it's the 617-horsepower M8. Midsummer buyers of the 2020 BMW M8, which is offered in hardtop, convertible and four-door Gran Coupe bodystyles, were seeing an average of $6,150 cut off the sticker; this month that figure has ballooned all the way to $16,864. That's more than 11% off the car's $150,000-plus retail price, and, according to data provided by TrueCar, it's the largest dollar amount sliced off the retail price of any car for the month of September. Next is the Maserati Quattroporte, buyers of which are saving $15,912 for an average transaction price of $99,763. If that's still too expensive, the smaller Ghibli's $70,030 average transaction price represents a huge 14.5% discount, earning the Italian sedan entry into our monthly top 10 best deals list. The third largest monetary discount in September comes off the $131,066 sticker price of the lovely 2019 Mercedes-AMG GT. Take $15,473 off that sum for an average transaction price of $115,593. 2014 BMW 320i
Tue, 24 Dec 2013When BMW switched its entry level 3 Series, the 328i, from a naturally aspirated, 3.0-liter six-cylinder to a turbocharged, 2.0-liter four-cylinder, we weren't entirely sure what to think. Sure, from a pure numbers perspective, the new 2.0-liter cooked the old 3.0's goose, delivering more torque at far more accessible engine speeds while boosting horsepower and fuel economy.
While we miss that revvy six-pot, the numbers for the 2.0 were just way too good to pass up. Then we received news of an even less-powerful 2.0-liter 3 Series - the 320i. This was interesting, as it saw BMW delving into a power level previously owned solely by the anemic Lexus IS 250 and its six-cylinder engine.
Could BMW make a sub-200-horsepower sedan that still drove the way we expected a 3 Series to drive? To find out, we borrowed the new 320i for a week of testing.
BMW i3 gets tuner treatment from Eve.Ryn
Sat, Oct 11 2014The BMW i3, especially when wearing its Capparis White paint job, already looks a bit like some sort of futuristic escape pod launched to Earth from a spaceship. It was only a matter of time until the electric car got touched by the eager hands of a tuner to make it even more eye-popping. It is, after all, a BMW. Japanese tuner Garage Eve.Ryn appears to be the first to give the i3 the inevitable once over. The result is a much more aggressive-looking EV, called the i3 EVO. We say aggressive-looking, because we have no information to suggest that the makeover was anything but cosmetic. The i3 EVO has slightly exaggerated fender flares, which stand out with their strips of carbon fiber along the edge. The redesigned front bumper looks like it could have been fashioned out of Star Wars stormtrooper armor, complete with fake air intakes and, of course, a helping of carbon. The rear end gets a diffuser, too. The large wheels feature blue accents, which help to highlight the Ice Blue bits already on the vehicle. For a closer look, check out the i3 EVO photos in the gallery and there are more like it on Eve.Ryn's Facebook page, in galleries here, here and here, as well as a more recent set of images showing the car emblazoned with Energy Motor Sport (a company that appears closely related to Eve.Ryn, on the distribution end) decals on the sides. There's no telling what the body kit does for the aerodynamics of the car, but it would be interesting to find out what effect Eve.Ryn's handiwork has on the i3's range. Either way, this surely won't be the last time a tuner finds a way to reimagine the BMW i3, so, love it or hate it, you might as well get used to it.
