Bmw Z3 2000 Roadster Convertible W/ Hardtop, Original Owner!!, Pampered Red Z3! on 2040-cars
Louisville, Kentucky, United States
This is my wife's 2.3L BRIGHT RED Z3! We ordered it from BMW and had it built just the way we wanted it! We received the car in October of 1999. This car has been garage kept and well maintained throughout the years. The powered soft top is tan in color and works perfectly! The 125,011 (9,000 per year avg.) miles have primarily occurred on freeways driving to and from work. The car has NEVER been involved in any accident. We have had it cleaned and detailed throughout the years and most recently in late 2011. This included touch-ups on any paint chips from normal driving. We have all maintenance reports and receipts. The tires are in great shape. This Z3 has an automatic transmission. The soft top has minimal wear because we keep the hard top on the car 90% of the time. We only use the convertible without the hard top during the Fall each year when we have optimum conditions here in Kentucky. We have struggled whether to even sell our car because we are very attached to it. We selected a reserve price a bit above Kelly Blue Book excellent private sale value because we know its worth that and more!!!!! We want to find a great home for this car and find someone who will take care of it like we have.
I've done nearly 300 transactions on Ebay over the years with 100% feedback, but never a car, so forgive me for being overly cautious. We would like a down payment of $500, preferably PayPal within the first 48 hours after the auction ends. I would prefer the remaining transaction in cash or cashiers check. The buyer is responsible for pick-up and or delivery and any fees associated with the transfer of the car. Please email me any questions you may have. |

Carmakers, NHTSA to unveil auto-emergency braking agreement tomorrow
Wed, Mar 16 2016Happy St. Patrick's Day Eve. Tomorrow, there will be green beer, corned beef and cabbage, and automatic emergency braking for all. Weird combo, we know. But on St. Patty's we can expect an official announcement from a pact of automakers making auto-braking systems standard equipment by 2022. That's per a report from Reuters, which cites three sources familiar with the plans. Originally announced in September 2015 by 10 automakers and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the agreement is expected to be even larger when the details are unveiled tomorrow. According to Reuters, the manufacturers of 99 percent of the US domestic market's vehicles will be represented by the new agreement. It's believed that standard AEB systems could prevent thousands of accidents across the country. Expect more on the official announcement when it's made. Related Video:
Mini JCW Paceman vs. BMW M135i in family faceoff
Mon, 15 Apr 2013Over the last year, we've had the chance to drive two of the most exciting hatchbacks in the BMW family - the BMW M135i and the Mini Paceman John Cooper Works - but Autocar has managed to get the two corporate cousins together for a head-to-head comparison. Just like our initial impressions of the Paceman JCW, Autocar has little to complain about this new 215-horsepower hatchback... until it begins to factor in the faster, better-mannered and similarly priced M135i.
Despite laying down an extra 100 hp and delivering a 0-60 time that is almost two seconds quicker, the M135i carries the same price tag of 29,535 pounds in the UK; US pricing for the Paceman starts at $36,200, while it still isn't even clear if the US will be getting the M135i. Even more surprising is the fact that the Paceman falls short of the M135i in regards to rear seat and cargo volume, and just barely squeaks out a win in the fuel economy department. Scroll down to watch the BMW versus Mini hot hatch battle.
BMW X1 EV for Zinoro spotted
Tue, 04 Jun 2013BMW has teamed up with Chinese automaker Brilliance Automotive to create a joint venture in China, called Zinoro, and it appears that an all-electric version of the X1 crossover is to be the brand's first model. Spotted testing in Munich, these spy shots show a more camouflaged version of the X1 EV that we saw back in April.
Comparing these latest spy shots, we can see that the Zinoro model will wear a completely unique front fascia that ditches BMW's trademark grille, but few other changes seem to be taking place. Previous reports indicate that this Zinoro EV could go on sale in China early next year.
