Bmw Other Base Sedan 4-door on 2040-cars
Phoenix, Arizona, United States
Up for sale is my 2013 BMW 650i Gran Coupe with 19,4xx Original miles. The car is a stunning and rare Frozen(Matte) Brilliant White and is loaded with every single option BMW had to offer. Starting with the M sport package that includes 20'' Matte Black wheels wrapped in Dunlap SP Sport Maxx GT Run flat tires also the package offers the M aerodynamic kit and LED fog lamps. Inside the Luxury seating package includes power rear sunshades, front ventilated and heated seats, and front and rear 4 zone climate control system. The driver assistance package is what puts the car on another level with the heads up display that shows the speed limit on the current road you are driving along with the vehicle current speed. Also the lane departure warning that is only felt through the steering wheel will make sure that you pay attention to the road and not your phone while driving! I can continue on for a long time explaining all the options and features this car has but if you are looking at this ad, you are either a dreamer or a person that has done some research on what you are wanting to buy! Check out the original window sticker photo for the list of options and shoot me any questions you may have! On to important things such as condition of the car which is very good in this case. The car has been maintained by BMW of North Scottsdale from day one and is still under the 4 year/50,000 Full Maintenance Program. The paint and body in great condition with no dents. There are minor rock chips on the very bottom of the front bumper where you would have to put your head between your legs to notice them. Overall this car is a huge head turner and very unique in the color scheme that it sits and for the price you will have a hard time find "more car for the buck"

BMW's next-century concept mentions no powertrain, and we're sad
Mon, Mar 7 2016So the Ultimate Driving Machine might soon become the Ultimate Machine Driver. We get it, that's the way things are moving. For its part, BMW still plans to involve a driver in its next-century designs, as foretold by the Vision Next 100 concept it unveiled at its centenary celebration kickoff event. But what gets us is that BMW, Bayerische Motoren Werke, the company known for delivering some of the most sorted powertrains – gasoline and otherwise – over the last century makes no mention of the future of propulsion when presenting its idea of the next 100 years on the road. Maybe it's the fact we just don't know what will power our cars even 10 years down the line; locking into one concept or another could look bad in hindsight. But the whole, er, concept of a concept is to look at what might be possible, not avoid sticky issues. Where are the in-hub motors, the wireless charging mats, the onboard fusion reactors we were promised in Back to the Future Part II? This is an opportunity to offer innovative solutions. Skipping over the power was a mistake, and one that makes me a little disappointed in the company. I'd have liked to see BMW go big with a bold prediction, or even just admit that gas will be gone and some form of electrification will take its place by 2116. We're okay with electric motors as long as they don't drain the life out of cars, and they don't have to, which is something companies like Tesla and even BMW have proven. Here's hoping one of BMW's other centenary concepts will pick up where the Vision Next 100 fell short. BMW 6 Series Convertible gets a little work done for 2015
Sat, 02 Aug 2014Truth be told, I've never really found the modern BMW 6 Series to be a particularly attractive car, in Coupe, Convertible, or sedan Gran Coupe forms. This current generation certainly looks a whole lot better than the Bangle-fied Six that came before it to my eyes, but on the whole, I find much of the car's design to be fussy and awkward. There's a new 6 Series on the way, scheduled to arrive sometime in 2017 or 2018, but to hold us over until then, BMW is freshening its current range, as evidenced by this convertible prototype our trusty spies recently caught testing.
Will the changes to the current 6 Series be an improvement? Perhaps. Up front, there are restyled headlamps and a new front bumper, and at the rear, BMW has redesigned the LED taillamps to bring them more in line with the rest of the company's offerings. Aside from those modest tweaks, we don't expect much more to change on the Big Six - the interior will likely carry over with some minor tweaks (or new colors), and it's possible the powertrains could be massaged gently for gains in either power, efficiency, or both.
Whether you think this new look is pretty or not, this freshened 6 Series will likely debut sometime next year, while BMW's engineers and designers craft the all-new version. See it from several angles in our gallery, above.
Watch a trio of Santas ride up Mulholland Drive
Wed, 25 Dec 2013Santa Claus might have his eight reindeer - or nine, when it's foggy - to help him deliver presents in most parts of the world, but in southern California, it looks like he's traded up from Dasher, Dancer, Prancer and company to BMW, Yamaha and Ducati. RNickeyMouse is usually the place to check out spectacular motorcycle crashes on video along LA's Mulholland Drive, but a recent video caught a trio of Santas carving up the iconic, twisty road.
The three Santas are together, riding what appears to be a BMW S1000RR, Yamaha R1 and a hard-to-tell custom bike that could be a Ducati 1098. The video, which is posted below, also catches a bonus Santa riding solo on another S1000RR. Happy Christmas to all, and to all a cool bike!
