Petrolicious carves up the road with a pumpkin-colored BMW 2002
Wed, Nov 25 2015Sometimes the best way to learn a skill the right way is to completely screw things up the first time. Carter Kelly Kramer figured out that lesson during years of restoration work on his 1976 BMW 2002. What he lacked in talent, Kramer made up with dogged perseverance until he had the pumpkin-colored BMW in this week's video from Petrolicious. The problems started the moment Kramer bought the 2002 on eBay. It turned out to have rotten floors, no brakes, and plenty of other issues. However, Kramer was 16 and thought he could fix everything that was wrong. It was long repair process with a multitude of problems. Kramer even briefly sold the car. Kramer's tenacity eventually resulted in the orange 2002 that he has today. After all the work, the classic BMW is now far from stock, but the mods express Kramer's dream for the car. This engrossing story of determination also introduces a new opening for Petrolicious' videos. It also has a redesigned website. Related Video:
Season 9 of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee teases us with BMWs and Volvos

It should be no surprise that the list of actors and comedians is impressive, with Kristen Wiig, Christoph Waltz, and more making appearances. Seinfeld has lined up an equally impressive list of cars for the new season. Porsche, BMW, and Volvo all have beautiful machines lined up to shuttle Seinfeld and his guest to different coffee shops. Ken Block and friends race light in silly-beautiful Castrol commercial
Wed, 28 May 2014How does one make fast, loud, drifting cars better? Well, you can add more fast, loud, drifting cars or you can add lasers. Either or, really. In this case, Castrol did the right thing and added both, creating a highly stylized commercial for its Edge Titanium motor oil starring South African racer Adrian Zaugg, BMW factory driver Augusto Farfus, Audi DTM and Le Mans staple Mike Rockenfeller and some bloke named Ken Block.
Their cars? No surprise, but Block is in his Ford Fiesta GRC, while Zaugg samples a Lamborghini Aventador and Farfus and Rockenfeller drive along party lines, with a BMW M4 and an Audi R8, respectively. And those cars look good, too, thanks to the creative light and laser work on display.
