Bmw X5 4.8is Fully Loaded - Nav/low Mileage/huge Roof/dinan/20 In Rims/perfect!! on 2040-cars
Chandler, Arizona, United States
Fully Loaded TRUCK - You do NOT need anything else in this Luxury Car - Trust me! Options: DINAN Stage 3 engine upgrade including throttle body, sway bar and exhaust (DINAN parts were installed by dealership; they were very expensive; my loss - your gain); REMOTE STARTUP Keyless Engine (VIPER mounted by BMW Dealership) - I have 2 remote keys 2 Operational Shifting Paddles on the Steering Wheel installed by Dealership; Passport GPS built in radar detector and laser diffuser; Self leveling air suspension with 3 height positions (Low, Medium and High); Telephone feature (Connect your iPhone, Samsung Phones to Bluetooth and speak with your friends through car's speakers); Original MultiMedia device to include: Huge Screen Navigation (original BMW wide screen) with lots of great multimedia features; 6 CD Changer (original BMW); M badging on dash, seats and stereo (original BMW); Low Jack; Nice Rumbling noise (not obnoxious) when you start and drive the truck. People are always looking around to see who’s driving and what. :) If you’re shy, this will fix this “behaviour”. More friends, more girls, more of everything, but with LUXURY! I’m proud to own this truck, as I am shy myself, and I hope the next owner will have the same experience. New Brembo Brakes (original BMW); HUGE PANORAMIC for Front and Back seats Sun Roof (Original BMW); Back and front Distance Sensors (original BMW); 4 wireless headphones for rear and front seat entertainment; 3 TV's (2 in read headrests, on on Multimedia System (where I have Navigation/GPS, Telephone,...); MVD Inspection good through December, 2016 (for Arizona). DINAN features just rock, and I will not have another BMW without their options. They are indeed expensive, but reliable and dependable. Truck is very strong - presenting itself with over 355 Hose Power at 6200 RPM. It’s Torque goes beyond 361 lbs-ft. Truck can pull anything it wants. It runs very smoothly - yet, it is still unbelievably strong. Truck is being driven at this moment, and mileage can vary based on driving needs. KBB gives a value of $23,000. keep in mind - KBB does not provide value on extra features. This car has an extra of total of $12,000 features. I do not ask for that money. I do NOT charge any taxes myself. If your US State (wherever you reside) requires you to pay taxes, it will be your responsibility to pay it yourself. Dealership did their 80k checkup in November/December 2013. You will not need to do anything to the truck (replace oil,...) till the truck gets 90k miles. Full multipoint check was done, and all aging recommendations were fully completed by dealership. The hood has a faded line which under sun light can be noticed, but with a buffer, it should go away. I just don’t have time to take care of it, as I’m traveling a lot. Other than that - TRUCK is at this moment in pristine condition!!! You will just love it, Period! Please - contact me, if you have any questions. For those who don’t have cash available, and decide to go with financing. Please, please, please - arrange your finances before bidding (let’s agree upon the price together, and then, you can check with your bank to ensure you do qualify for the money). There were numerous potential buyers interested in the truck, eager to take it (and I saw they really liked the truck; great!) - but all of them failed to commit 100% because of finances issues (local state won't allow truck to be paid for before truck has local inspection, credit issues, bankruptcy,... ). Let's be wise and not waste each other's time. Thank you for your understanding! |

BMW i3 wins 2015 Green Car of the Year award
Thu, Nov 20 2014The popular little BMW i3 (popular in the US, at least) was named the 2015 Green Car of the Year at the Los Angeles Auto Show today. The award doesn't just take into account a car's green credentials but also its "availability to the mass market." While the i3 is a bit expensive, starting at $41,350, it is becoming available at BMW dealers across the country, which cannot be said about a lot of other new plug-in vehicles released these past few years. The other finalists this year were the CNG-powered Chevy Impala Bi-Fuel, the Audi A3 TDI, the Honda Fit and the VW Golf. The BMW i3 with range extender gets a fuel economy rating of 117 MPGe and 39 miles per gallon (in gas mode) with a 72-mile EV range. The EV-only version gets 124 MPGe combined (137 in the city and 111 on the highway) and has an EV range of 81 miles. Green Car Journal has handed out the award every year for ten years now, naming the Honda Accord Hybrid/Plug-In Hybrid the winner last year, the Ford Fusion models (plug-in hybrid and hybrid) in 2013, the Honda Civic Natural Gas in 2012 and the Chevrolet Volt in 2011. BMW i3 NAMED GREEN CAR JOURNAL'S 2015 GREEN CAR OF THE YEAR" Milestone Carbon Fiber Electric Car Wins the Auto Industry's Most Important Environmental Award at Los Angeles Auto Show LOS ANGELES, CA (November 20, 2014) – BMW's i3, an innovative electric car built with a lightweight carbon fiber passenger cell and an aluminum drive module, has been named Green Car Journal's 2015 Green Car of the Year®, which was announced at the LA Auto Show. Green Car of the Year® finalists also included the Audi A3 TDI, Chevrolet Impala Bi-Fuel, Honda Fit, and VW Golf. The Green Car of the Year® award is an honor widely recognized as the auto industry's most important environmental accolade. Green Car Journal, the leading voice in the intersection of automobiles, energy, and the environment since the publication's launch in 1992, celebrates the high-profile award's 10th anniversary at the L.A. Auto Show this year. "BMW's i3 is a milestone vehicle in many respects and illustrates the automaker's expansive vision of future motoring," said Ron Cogan, editor and publisher of Green Car Journal and CarsOfChange.com.
2016 BMW X4 M40i Quick Spin
Tue, Feb 23 2016There's only so much you can do to disguise the SUV-ness of a crossover. The physics are simply against it. Essentially a jacked-up wagon, the X4 is heavier and has a higher center of gravity than a 3 Series longroof. No matter how many badges or what sort of fancy suspension you throw at it, you can't defy the essential laws that govern the mechanics of the universe. This isn't to say that BMW is standing in the surf, ordering the waves to roll backward. The X4 is a valiant, if misguided effort, in injecting some sportiness into a very niche vehicle. The X6 M, a "full" M Division offering, does a decent job at this: it's quick like a rocket-assisted hippopotamus, and uses some black magic to stay planted. The X4 M40i, a less-full-blown M Performance model, is less dramatic, and less compelling. Here's the operating theory: this crossover won't sell on its dynamic charms, however superior to its X4 xDrive28i and xDrive35i siblings. It'll sell because it's the top of the X4 heap, the most expensive of the three ($58,795!), and with the most "M" badges. Anyone looking for utility and strong handling dynamics should examine a 3 Series xDrive Sports Wagon with the M Sport Package and the $700 Adaptive M Suspension, pocket the $10k, and marvel at the size and shape of the cargo area. Driving Notes: This is the same engine as seen in the brand new M2, making 355 horsepower and 343 pound-feet of torque in this application. That's 10 hp down from the M2. There's lots of torque, and with an intentional stab of the go-pedal, this X4 will scoot. The eight-speed auto is great heading through the ratio range – its shifts are swift and sharp. The paddles will hold gears to redline in manual mode, but would you really want to? We ignored them. The adaptive dampers have their work cut out for them. This is a 4,235-pound vehicle – a full 340 pounds heavier than a diesel, all-wheel-drive, 3 Series Sports Wagon, and 7.6 inches taller – and this is where physics comes into play. Slalom-like quick corners produce an uncomfortable jacking effect as the outer wheels unload and transfer weight to the other side. It handles well, for a hippo. Since hustling the X4 M40i is possible but not all that rewarding, know that it's very pleasant in Comfort mode. The extra oomph is realized as a thick, broad, rich torque band, and that's never a bad thing around town. It's nicely dampened in Comfort, without much wallow.
BMW i3 will come with unusual 'OwnersChoice' non-lease option
Sun, Mar 16 2014In case you were interested in driving a BMW i3 but were afraid of getting into a traditional lease, there's some good new for you. We think. BMW recently announced that it would offer something called "OwnersChoice" and "OwnersChoice with Flex" to make the elegant city EV an easier purchase. Or temporary purchase, anyway. Something called "OwnersChoice with Flex" is not listed on the federal government's consumer information page on vehicle financing and we couldn't get a better explanation out of BMW than the official announcement, but the gist appears to be that an i3 buyer can make a gigantic balloon payment at the end of the contract term in order to pay less in monthly costs along the way. The way Automotive News describes it, the typical balloon note chains the buyer to the car in such a way that, while you can get lower monthly payments, you're still on the hook for the amount of the financing even if you return the car. With OwnersChoice, if you give the i3 back after the contract is done (usually after three years), you're in the clear. With OwnersChoice with Flex, you need to pay up no matter if you keep the car or not, but you can take the $7,500 federal tax incentive and increase your balloon payment by - let's see here, what's the amount? ah, yes - up to $7,500, which would knock $208 (7,500 divided by 36) off your payment every month. BMW Group Financial Services (GFS) came up with this new lease/payment hybrid thing, and Fred Isele, BMW GFS vp of sales and marketing, says it lets owners get, "a comfortable payment for one of the highest technological and efficient premium electric vehicles available to date." BMW GROUP FINANCIAL SERVICES OFFERS 'OWNERSCHOICE WITH FLEX' FINANCING PRODUCT WITH PURCHASE OF NEW i3 -- PROVIDES END-OF-TERM OPTIONS SIMILAR TO LEASING, YET BENEFITS OF OWNERSHIP WOODCLIFF LAKE, NJ – February 25, 2014 – With the launch of the BMW i3, the brand's first premium electric vehicle, BMW Group Financial Services becomes one of the first in the industry to create a financial solution to ownership that provides eligible customers with the options to lower their monthly payment and return the vehicle at the end of their contract term. The financing product called 'OwnersChoice with Flex,' provides eligible BMW i3 customers the option to increase their final OwnerChoice balloon payment due at the end of their contract term by up to $7,500.
