2007 Bmw X3 3.0si Sport Utility 4-door 3.0l on 2040-cars
I am selling my beloved X3. This was the only car I have ever purchased new. Actually I leased it then bought it. It has been well taken care of by myself, the dealer and the certified independent BMW mechanic. Kelly BMW did all service until the warranty expired then I changed the oil, oil filters, air filter and cabin filter using Amsoil European Synthetic oil and Mann air filters. I always changed the oil before the recommended service interval. (see record below) I may have forgotten to record a couple oil changes but it is very close. I used a BMW certified independent mechanic for all check ups and repairs after warranty. All parts are OEM BMW. I just spent $3400 to be sure the vehicle is 100%. Now we (wife ;) have decided to buy a new SUV. The pictures show a few dings and scratches on the rear. I backed into my friends motorcycle and caused the scratches on the right side. They have been touched up with OEM BMW paint. There are no noticeable dings or scratches on the sides, just normal road rock chips. The front shows normal rock chips as well. It has always been garage kept. The miles were mostly highway miles traveling 130 miles a day for about 4 years along with vacation road trips. The interior is very good condition. No pets, no smoking, no mud. The two trim pieces on the steering wheel are peeling. The remainder of the interior is very good. Front and rear heated Letherette (NOT leather) seats are great. The vehicle does not have the bluetooth module, but all the controls are in the steering wheel. This is how it was ordered. You can add the module and it should work. Everything works. No records during the warranty period. During warranty the moon roof was repaired, wiper blades were replaced and a couple of trim pieces were replaced. The tires are still very good, they have a 80000 mile treadwear. The brakes should be good for 100000 miles if you drive sensible. We got 123,000 out the the original set. Oil was just changed. I have attempted to disclose all I have documented and memory. This vehicle is in great condition and I would drive it anywhere. You are buying it as is, no warranty of any kind. No returns, refunds or discounts. Color me electric: a nine-year-old designs a crayon-colored Mini wrap
Tue, Nov 14 2023Perhaps one is never too young to help design the look of a car … with the help of a box of crayons. DonÂ’t tell nine-year-old Oliver Gorrod, who lives in Oxfordshire in England, that it canÂ’t be done. Young Oliver has finished first in a contest sponsored by MINI Electric in the U.K. and crayon-maker Crayola to create an exterior color wrap for the EV that “champions nature.” “I like the idea of all cars being electric, as they are better for the environment, animals and the planet. My car is designed as camouflage, so it blends into natural environments,” said the young man, who was among hundreds of entrants aged from four to 10 years from the U.K. Oliver wins the honor of his design being featured as a vinyl wrap for a car (he only wins the wrap) and a bundle of Crayola art materials for himself and his school. Oliver will also get an invite to visit MINI Plant Oxford for a private tour. “The creativity of the designs were fantastic," said Federico Izzo, director for MINI UK & Ireland. "We are excited to bring OliverÂ’s design to life and hope he will continue to innovate and dream big in the future.” Added Jade Childs of Crayola, “We are delighted to share Crayola art materials with Oliver and his class as part of the competition prize, and we hope they will continue to be inspired and express themselves as they explore, discover, play, pretend, and dream.” Design/Style Green BMW MINI Green Culture Hatchback Electric

Trump calls Germans 'very bad,' vows to stop their car sales in US
Fri, May 26 2017TAORMINA, Italy -Talks between President Trump and other leaders of the world's rich nations at the G7 summit on Friday were expected to be "robust" and "challenging" after he had lambasted NATO allies and condemned Germans as "very bad" for their trade policies. Trump's confrontational remarks in Brussels, on the eve of the two-day summit in the Mediterranean resort town of Taormina, cast a pall over a meeting at which America's partners had hoped to coax him into softening his stances on trade and climate change. According to German media reports, Trump condemned Germany as "very bad" for its trade policies in a meeting with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, signaling he might take steps to limit sales of German cars in the United States. "The Germans are bad, very bad," he reportedly told Juncker. "Look at the millions of cars that they're selling in the USA. Horrible. We're gonna stop that." White House economic adviser Gary Cohn on Friday confirmed the reports. "He said they're very bad on trade, but he doesn't have a problem with Germany." Cohn said Trump had pointed out during the meeting that his father had German roots in order to underscore the message that he had nothing against the German people. Trump's spokesman Sean Spicer said Trump had "tremendous respect" for Germany and had only complained about unfair trade practices in the meeting. Juncker called the reports in Spiegel Online and Sueddeutsche Zeitung exaggerated. The reports translated "bad" with the German word "boese," which can also mean "evil," leading to confusion when English-language media translated the German reports back into English. "The record has to be set straight," Juncker said, noting that the translation issue had exaggerated the seriousness of what Trump had said. "It's not true that the president took an aggressive approach when it came to the German trade surplus." "He said, like others have, that (the United States) has a problem with the German surplus. So he was not aggressive at all," Juncker added. In January, Trump threatened to slap a 35 percent tax on German auto imports. "If you want to build cars in the world, then I wish you all the best. You can build cars for the United States, but for every car that comes to the USA, you will pay 35 percent tax," he said. "I would tell BMW that if you are building a factory in Mexico and plan to sell cars to the USA, without a 35 percent tax, then you can forget that." Last year, the U.S.
