2007 BMW M6 Convertible in awesome condition. Has so many customized upgrades. Lots of Carbon Fiber. Race Ready.
600HP. V10. No damage or accidents. Never smoked in. Regularly serviced. Its very fast!! The launch control has
been changed from the North American version of 1500 RPM's to the EURO version of 4500 RPM's. The 5.0L engine has
been race tuned by EVOLVE tuning and the 7 speed SMG transmission has been tuned by ESS Tuning. The speed limiter
has also been removed. It has dual K&N "Typhoon" Cold Air intakes. One for each side of the engine. It sounds
amazing. Has a carbon fiber custom steering wheel from NEXON Motors. The steering wheel alone cost $2800. It also
has carbon fiber extensions on the paddle shifters on the steering wheel, also from NEXON. The steering wheel has
Alcantara suede side bolsters. It has 3M stitching all through it and a 3M stripe at the top center (12:00)
position. (see pics) There's a carbon fiber rear diffuser on it. It also has a HAMANN carbon fiber rear spoiler.
(Needs installed) and a front lip spoiler. (installed) This car has power EVERYTHING. Including the convertible
top. The battery was replaced a month ago at the dealership. The tires are Michelin and have plenty of life left.
They were new only 2000 miles ago. The interior is spotless.  No wear at all on any of the leather.  It really
is like new.  The dash and doors are also covered in high quality leather.  These cars sold brand new for over
$100,000.00. This is a steal at $37,500. You will receive all of the extras I bought, including things like a M
series BMW Umbrella, a matching, talk insulated M series coffee cup, custom key fob and key chain, wind deflector
for when the top is down, all the decals I have left over from buying different upgraded parts, BMW M6 repair
software for your PC, not that you'll ever need it. ;-) , the stock intakes that came with the car, all the
software for the engine and transmission upgrades. Everything I have for the car, I'll give to the buyer.   The
hood has been replaced with a carbon fiber VIS Racing, vented hood.  There are covers under the hood that can be
removed so the vents are open.  It helps pull more cold air into the engine since the vents are directly over the
cone air filters.  There are carbon fiber side rails on the sides of the rear bumper. Both shift boots, for the
shifter and emergency brake, have been replaced with matching black alcantara suede with 3M stripes on both sides
of them, as well as the tri-color 3M stitching throughout it. The interior trim is all carbon fiber from the
factory.  None of the carbon fiber on the car is that stick-on garbage.  Its all real carbon fiber or real carbon
fiber skinned.  Under the hood, there are several custom parts to make it look so great. The cabin air filter box
covers have been replaced with red carbon fiber ones that cost over $1000. The radiator cover has also been
replaced with the same thing. Some of the bolts have been replaced with chrome ones that have large red washer on
them, to match the red carbon fiber parts.  Even the oil cap has been replaced by a steel red "M" one. Also
installed, are the LED fog light strips. The front license plate frame is a red carbon fiber one.  The rear is a
black M series frame from the dealership.  Both side mirrors have real carbon fiber on the side and bottom half of
them.  The dash has aluminum rings on the 3 center knobs for the heating and a.c. These are all upgrades I've done
to the car.  I've put several thousand dollars into the car after I bought it.  I've only owned it for 6 months.
I'm selling it because I have a business venture I plan to pursue so having the liquid funds to invest is the
smarter thing to do. One day, I'll just buy another one.  nbsp;
Only 31k Miles on it. You'd be hard pressed to find an M6 Convertible E64 like this one. It turns heads everywhere
I go and people are always asking me about it. Everyone absolutely loves it.
I am willing to meet you in person for the sale. I can even pick you up from the airport. The Pittsburgh airport is
about an hour away from me. I welcome you to have your mechanic do an inspection.
Everything I've stated is true, to the best of my knowledge.
Feel free to message me with any questions you might have. I'll answer them right away.
Thank you for looking.

Rolls-Royce Cullinan and BMW 8 Series spied south of Death Valley

Wed, Aug 30 2017

Recently, we've stumbled upon a number of manufacturer prototypes running around. Usually, spy photographers sit and wait for hours with cameras primed in order to get a few shots of a car. We just got lucky. First, we caught the new Chevy Corvette ZR1 convertible during a Facebook Live video. A week or so later McGraw snapped a video of a ZR1 coupe cruising in his neck of the woods. Today, our ace photographer Drew Phillips caught a BMW test fleet filling up the new Rolls-Royce Cullinan and 8 Series coupe in Baker, Calif. Baker sits along Interstate 15, about halfway between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. It's just south of Death Valley, and, being late August, suggests that BMW was doing some hot weather testing. Drew was filling up his car when the fleet rolled in. There were at least two of the new king Rolls and a single 8 Series. Both cars were wearing a full swirl camouflage wrap. It's not an uncommon place to see prototypes. Still, seeing a whole fleet roll in is quite a sight. We've seen official photos of the Cullinan before, but these pictures give us our best view of the profile and rear we've had so far. From a distance, it looks like a high-riding version of the new Phantom with a hatch in place of the trunk. The taillights are obviously just filler units. Expect the final version to look very much like the squared off LED units on the Phantom. Likewise the interior and engine should be straight from the Phantom. That means a twin-turbocharged V12, though power is likely to be sent to all four wheels. We've seen the full BMW 8 Series concept a few times now. The proportions on the production car look the same, with a long hood and even longer wheelbase. The nose isn't quite as aggressive as the concept, but we expected the styling to be toned down to meet crash and safety standards. As for engines, look for six, eight and (hopefully) 12-cylinder power under the hood. A plug-in variant is also expected. Both cars have been in development for a long while, so look for full debuts sometime this auto show season. Maybe we'll happen upon some more test mules between now and then. Related Video:

Vorsteiner BMW M4 GTRS4 shows how to do a widebody at SEMA

Wed, 05 Nov 2014

Part of the joy of the SEMA Show is that all of the best tuners in the world are competing to show off their wares, and the challenge often pushes the companies into some absolutely insane directions. Case in point: Vorsteiner and its ludicrous GTRS4 wide body kit with the BMW M4.
According to Auto Evolution, the kit reportedly adds 4 inches in the front to fit 10.5-inch-wide wheels and a massive 7-inches more in the rear to snug in 13.5-inch-wide wheels, but spinning around the BMW in these images makes the changes look even more extreme. Beyond just the extra room in the fenders, the lower air intakes are ready to suck in huge volumes of cool air, and there's a front splitter to keep things planted. The front and rear extensions are joined by side sills that grow the farther back they go. Finally, at the rear, the M4 gets a reworked diffuser with mesh inserts.
This is just the type of automotive craziness that makes SEMA interesting. Take a lot at it for yourself in the gallery.

Why BMW doesn't plan to integrate Apple's iOS in the Car

Wed, 12 Jun 2013

While watching Apple introduce iOS in the Car during its WWDC keynote on Monday, we wondered how automakers, even the 14 who've already signed up to integrate this new in-car functionality of iOS 7, will feel about having the Cupertino company's mobile operating system supplant their own in-car systems. After all, some OEMs like Ford, General Motors and many luxury automakers have sunk millions of dollars into developing their own advanced infotainment, navigation and communication platforms like MyFord Touch, CUE and older systems like iDrive.
One automaker has now spoken up. A BMW spokeperson was interviewed by someone in the news department of British auto dealer group Arnold Clark and confirmed that the company would not be getting in line to integrate iOS in the Car anytime soon. The reason, as we suspected, is that BMW believes its own products developed over the last decade are both plenty good and already so deeply integrated with other systems of the car that, as told to Arnold Clark, "it would not be that straightforward to start changing all of the architecture of a car as has been implied [by Apple]."
While BMW isn't interested in spending more money to integrate Apple's services and functionality over its own, it has spent a good bit already to integrate iPhone functionality in its cars, including the relatively rare ability to support iPod Out and display Apple's own interface on Mini models with the optional Mini Connected feature, as well as committing to integrate Siri 'Eyes Free' functionality.
