Incredibly well maintained 2013 BMW M-5 sedan in black sapphire metallic over black Merino Leather.  With only 8k miles, my buddy has decided to move on to a 2 seat car and this is taking up his parking space.  The MSRP on this car was a big one at 105k.

This car is equipped with the Driver's assistance package which includes the Lane Departure Warning, Active Blind Spot Detection and Side and Top View Cameras.

The car is also equipped with the must have Executive package.  This package is the most important as well as the most expensive.  Included in this package is the following...
-- Heated Steering Wheel
--Power Trunk
--Comfort Access keyless entry
--Soft-Close Automatic doors
--Rear Sunshades
--Front Ventilated Seats
--Active Front Seats
--Heated Rear Seats
--4-Zone Climate Control
--Heads up Display
--Satellite Radio w/ One year subscription
--BMW Apps

The rest of the car is trimmed about as tastefully as you can get.  It does have the 20" M light allow wheels for better accerlation and handling for this monster.  It is also trimmed for the outdoors with the supplied "Ski Bag".  The interior is adorned with the rich and attractive Anthracite Wood Trim package as well.

For the Audiophile in you, this car has the Bang & Olufsen sound system to round out your rote local commute when you can't be hammering the gas and enjoying the sound of the engine!

This car is located in Houston Texas.  As I mentioned selling for a friend.  Car title is clear and in hand, no payoff or lien to be satisfied.  Why buy a new one and pay the 105k, you can have this one for more than 10% less with very few miles.  Email with any questions and we will get right back to you.

2015 BMW M3 is fast for the family man

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

BMW finally brought its four-door M3 into the public view, showing the new sedan off at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. The new M3 represents BMW's return to small, wildly fast four-door sedans after a several year absence following the discontinuation of the E90 M3 Sedan way back in 2011.
The M3 enjoys the same 425-horsepower, 3.0-liter six-cylinder used in the M4, with 406 pound-feet of torque and the owner's choice of either an old-fashioned six-speed manual or a seven-speed M dual-clutch transmission. All told, the new powertrain should scoot the four-door M to 60 in a mere 3.9 seconds (with the M DCT).
We've got a full gallery of live images of the all-new M3 up above, and we've included the original stock gallery down below. Feel free to peruse either, and then let us know what you think by sounding off down in Comments.

2019 BMW M850i xDrive: How it compares on paper with other GT coupes

Wed, Jul 11 2018

Although the hot new vehicles for the rich seem to mainly comprise SUVs and supercars, the neglected luxury GT coupe segment is starting to see some life again. The latest to add a spark to this set is the 2019 BMW M850i xDrive. It goes on sale later this year, and revives the 8 Series that's been dead since the 1990s. The first version available to Americans will be one with a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8, with other versions likely following. Before it launches, we wanted to get a lay of the grand-touring land and see how the new BMW stacks up to the competition in performance, practicality and price. While some of these models have higher-performance or more-affordable iterations, we picked the versions that would be the closest match to this 8 Series model. They include the 2019 Lexus LC 500, 2018 Mercedes-Benz SL 550, 2018 Mercedes-Benz S 560 Coupe and the 2018 Maserati GranTurismo. We will also provide some short summaries on our experiences with these cars, but to get a full picture of each model, be sure to check out their full reviews. And if you want to compare any of these cars with models you don't see here, be sure to try out our car comparison tool. Engines, transmissions and performance On paper, the BMW M850i xDrive is clearly the performer of the group. It has the most power and torque at 523 horsepower and 553 pound-feet. Coupled with all-wheel-drive and an eight-speed automatic, the car is able to overcome its relatively portly 4,478-pound curb weight to hit 60 mph in a scant 3.6 seconds. That's more than half a second quicker than the lightest car in the group, the Mercedes-Benz SL550, which weighs 4,012 pounds. The other three vehicles are in the low- to mid-4-second range to 60 mph. Though the Maserati is the slowest to 60 mph, it does boast the highest top speed of 186 mph. The M850i and SL 550 are electronically limited to 155 mph, while the Lexus is limited to 168 mph. The Mercedes S 560 has the lowest top speed at an electronically limited 130 mph. View 52 Photos Of interest is that there's a 50/50 split among these cars between using a pair of turbos, and having none at all. The BMW and Mercedes resort to forced induction, whereas the Lexus and Maserati choose to stay naturally aspirated. This is likely why the Germans break 500 pound-feet of torque, while the others don't make it to 400. Also interesting is the spread of gear quantity. The Maserati has just six ratios to choose from, and the Lexus has a whopping 10.

BMW pitting self-drifting car against drift champion

Mon, Mar 9 2015

The BMW M235i certainly makes a capable drift machine. Last year, the Bavarian brand had five of them with the tail out in unison in South Africa for the Driftmob. The coupe even proved that it could slide without a driver's intervention. For the latest sideways stunt, the company wanted to know which was the better drifter: an autonomous car or a human. This clip is just the trailer for BMW's entire drift challenge video, and it seemingly gives away the ending of the whole thing. We're sure, though, that there must be something more to the stunt than what's on display here. The driverless Audi TTS from Stanford University was reportedly slightly faster than an amateur racer around Thunderhill Raceway Park recently, and BMW has also been working at this problem for years with things like its Track Trainer. Regardless of how you feel about driverless cars, it's amazing how quickly autonomous tech is progressing – even on the track.
