1991 BMW E34 M5 with only 109K original miles, one of the last hand built Ms. Overall condition is very good, but not perfect. Engine and transmission are in great shape. Runs and drives great. All electrical works as it should, no tears or rips in leather, pulls and growls just like it supposed to. 310HP stock, but I will include a DINAN performance chip that will add 37HP to it. This M definitely has lots of potential. Body is straight with normal minor wear, paint is still good(see pics). Clean CO title in hands. Passed local emission test last year with flying colors. Comes with maintenance records. The only thing it needs is A/C compressor sometime in the future, it still works and A/C blows ice cold, but it's noisy. - 18" Staggered OEM M Parallel wheels with 20/22 offset specifically designed to fit this car! Tires with approx 40% left. 235/40/18 front, 255/35/18 rear. - M-Tech steering wheel - New Kenwood Deck - Two 12s and AMP in the trunk(needs a hook up) - Black Kidney Grilles - Rear Euro Tail Lights along with clear corners all around - New control arms and sway bar links in the front - Recent oil change - New Hood and Trunk shocks - DINAN Performance Chip (+37HP). Needs to be installed. HAPPY BIDDING!!!

2015 BMW i8 configurator is ready to show the future
Mon, 22 Sep 2014Good news if you're one of the lucky few that can afford the new BMW i8. The high-performance hybrid's configurator has gone live on BMW USA's consumer website, meaning you can head in and customize till you drop.
If you've ever played with a BMW configurator, you'll instantly feel at home with the i8's. You have the choice of four trim packages (your author refuses to use BMW's pretentious "World" trim names), followed by wheel and exterior paint options. The interior choices are fixed to the trim level, so aside from trim, color and the choice of two wheel options, there isn't a lot to pick out on the i8.
Head on over and take a look.
The 2017 Alpina B7 xDrive isn't as cool as the BMW M760i
Wed, Mar 2 2016Steve Ewing is good people, but when it comes to big BMWs, he talks nonsense. He argues, incorrectly, that the new Alpina B7 is somehow cooler than the new M760i. Here's why he's wrong. No surprise, but the bulk of the pro-M760i argument comes from under the hood. Yes, both cars produce 600 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque, but it's where the power comes from that really matters. The M760i's power is just much more accessible, with peak torque coming in at just 1,500 rpm, while the Alpina makes owners wait until 3,000 rpm for max twist (a fact Ewing glosses over). The V12 also offers up all 600 horsepower at 5,500 rpm, 250 rpm earlier. Sure, the Alpina is 0.3 seconds faster to 60 miles per hour – it does the deed in 3.6 seconds to the M760's 3.9 seconds – but it relies on a tweaked transmission setup to do it. Not only that, but big automakers like BMW are usually quite conservative about performance figures, so it's still a bit early to hand a medal to the aftermarket. Here's the other thing about the engines – Nigel Tufnel would prefer the M760i. See, the Alpina has a 4.4-liter, twin-turbo V8, but the M760i has a 6.6-liter, twin-turbo V12. To paraphrase Tufnel, "This one has a V12." We rest our case. Other changes between the two cars are largely in the eye of the beholder – we can talk about the transmission, suspension, and xDrive changes until we're blue in the face, but we simply don't have enough information about the two setups to make substantive arguments – some people might prefer the subtler styling of the M760i. We're not going to blame anyone for liking the more aggressive look of the Alpina, with its big, quad-tipped exhaust, meaty front splitter, or aggressive side sills. And those 21-inch Alpina wheels? Easily the coolest styling detail. You can get a closer look at them, and the Alpina's other changes, in our live gallery from the floor of the Geneva Motor Show. The List: Best of proving grounds
Fri, May 22 2015Proving grounds are where automakers and enthusiasts alike go to push their vehicles to their mechanical limits. The Rubicon Trail, located in the Sierra Nevada, is the ultimate off-road test, while Germany's Nurburgring is a grueling 13 mile road and track course.
