For sale is a 1999 BMW M3 Coupe
DISCLAIMER: This is an IOWA Salvage vehicle - Salvaged due to the damage seen - the car swiped a fence and caused the damage. No other damage done to the car. The car will be transferred to your name upon pickup of vehicle. If you purchase in the state of Minnesota, you will get a Minnesota title. If you purchase out of the state of Minnesota, it will be your responsibility to get a title in your state.
The car needs the repairs done to the Driver side of the vehicle as seen in all the pictures. I tried to get all the details of the car in the pictures - what you see is what you get.
The driver door airbag did deploy - a new one would need to be placed in it - $30 on ebay for a replacement
The Leather is in good condition - the paint is nice as well. There are a couple nicks here and there - its a used car.
There are no exhaust leaks - it runs and idles GREAT. No funny noises - does not over heat either. The clutch grabs very well.
THERE IS EXTREMELY LITTLE RUST ON THIS CAR - Only one spot that I saw and pictured! - VERY CLEAN!!!
What it needs:
Driver air bag
Alignment - the car pulls
Repairs done to Driver sides
New driver side skirt
One of the wheels has a dent in it - the front driver wheel - it is fixable at a wheel repair shop
The engine light is on - not sure why, most likely and oxygen sensor - the car drives fine and has great power
I would recommend trailering the car home after purchase - the alignment makes it tough to drive - also if you drive it you will rip up the tires with the bad alignment.

BMW and Samsung team up with Galaxy Gear smartwatch that talks to your i3
Sun, 12 Jan 2014Without a doubt, the most impressive thing that BMW showed at CES this year was a driverless M235i drifting flawlessly around a wet track at Las Vegas Speedway. However, that bit of robotic helmsmanship wasn't the only trick the German company had up its sleeve. Or, more to the point, on its wrist.
Taking a page from rival Mercedes-Benz, BMW demonstrated how a "smartwatch," in this case the Samsung Galaxy Gear, could be made to function usefully with a vehicle, in this case the BMW i3. Calling it a "research application," BMW showed off its BMW i Remote App on the Galaxy Gear; the app gives information about state of battery charge, available range and whether or not all the doors and windows are closed or open. Perhaps more useful still, the watch can be used to send a destination to the i3's navigation unit, adjust the climate control in preparation for a trip and can recognize voice commands. Nifty stuff, if not world-shaking, that could help tech-obsessed luxury buyers take a second look at the upcoming BMW EV.

BMW 5 Series GT spied in the snow
Sat, Dec 19 2015Tuesday, December 22 might be the official start of winter, but as the northern hemisphere hunkers down for the darkest and coldest days of the year, the automotive testing community is beginning its annual migration to the snow-covered roads of Sweden. For BMW, that means heading north with the new 5 Series Gran Turismo. This isn't the first time we've seen the hunchbacked five-door, as our spies captured it about six weeks ago testing in Germany. This new round of images doesn't reveal a great deal more about the 5GT, but it's further evidence that BMW is moving into the next stage of testing. This still looks like it'll be a more stylish evolution of the original 5GT idea. And as our spies report, we can still expect a significant weight savings, too. We're still expecting the the second-gen 5GT to arrive in late 2016. Check out the full gallery of snowy spy shots up top.
