1995 BMW M3

Manual transmission, sunroof equipped coupe. Excellent shape.

Exterior: Paint and clear coat is in great shape with two minor rust defects: spots below rear license plate, and back of left rear wheel well. I believe that you wouldn't need to cut out metal to repair, but would like the future owner to make that decision. The car is definitely worth doing the work on, and I have the paint supplies at the ready for whomever purchases the car to make the repair. Will also include a complete new factory rear panel should the new owner choose to invest the effort.

Interior: Fantastic. Drivers side seat recovered two years ago. Passenger and rear seats in fantastic shape. Sport seats (not vaders). New microsuede black headliner looks very sharp. Kenwood CD player installed 2012.

Driveline: Original engine with 163k. New cooling system. Excellent shape. Only mod is carbon fiber intake. Otherwise bone stock.

Suspension: Completely rebuilt to stock rear suspension- every bushing and ball joint replaced, except sway bars, which I had considered upgrading. All four shocks/struts replaced with stock (boge).

Other: Motion MOtorsports aluminum undertray. New oxygen sensor, new fog lights, new shift knob (weighted BMW).

Everything works (including all the pixels in the display), and it's great to drive.

New Forza 6 car pack adds 1,000 hp German race truck

Today, Forza Motorsport 6 continues its pattern of monthly updates with seven new cars in the Turn 10 Select Car Pack. The diverse group of cars spans nearly 60 years of motoring history with a combination three street and four track cars from Germany, Italy, the UK, and the UK. Turn 10 Studios will also release an update that brings back Monza, Catalunya, and the Circuit of the Americas tracks. The seven vehicles in the pack are the 1957 BMW Isetta 300 Export, the 1969 Ford Brawner Hawk III, the 1980 Fiat 124 Sport Spider, the 2014 Jaguar #14 Emil Frey GT3 Jaguar XK, the 2014 Chevrolet #4 ROAL Motorsport RML Cruze TC1 WTCC, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz #24 Tankpool24 Racing Truck, and the 2015 McLaren 570S Coupe. The BMW, Fiat, and McLaren all represent iconic vehicles for their respective brands. While the BMW may not be fast and the McLaren is the baby of the brand, their importance can't be overstated. It also can't be a coincidence that Fiat is releasing an all-new 124 Spider, now based on the Mazda MX-5 Miata, just as Forza is adding in a version of the original. The racecars share a similar iconic nature. The Ford Brawner Hawk III won the 1969 Indianapolis 500 with Mario Andretti at the wheel. The team behind the GT3 XK has ties with Jaguar going back decades. The Chevrolet Cruze is one of the most successful cars in the history of the World Touring Car Championship. Finally, the Mercedes-Benz racing truck was added because the developers saw them in real life and thought racing these big trucks would be cool. BMW i8 will be first production car to use Gorilla Glass

What do smartphones and the BMW i8 have in common? Glass. Scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass, that is. The i8 will be the first production car to use the chemically hardened material, which is more durable, lighter and provides more sound deadening than conventional laminated automotive glass. We thought it would be a natural replacement for windshields, but, according to Autoweek, BMW said it will be used for the rear window for sound deadening purposes. The Gorilla Glass will still be laminated, with two 0.7mm thick layers of it sandwiching an acoustic sheet, reports Autoevolution.
BMW reportedly claims the i8 will weigh less than 3,285 pounds, and to offset the heavy hybrid powertrain to reach that goal the automaker has implemented lightweight materials normally not found in mass-production automobiles. With a carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) monocoque used for both the (relatively) pedestrian i3 and the upscale i8, it's not surprising BMW was also the first to jump onto Gorilla Glass, especially given the timing of a report that a high-end automaker would introduce it within the year.
