Finished in arcticblau metallic over blue leather, this 99.99% rust-free blue license plate California car has been driven about 107,000 Autocheck certified miles since purchased new 30 years ago! [NOTE: the odometer stopped working a few months back and has barely been driven since then]. This gem is being sold with clean and clear California title and current regsitration AND just passed stringent CA. smog testing. It sports an excellent running 182 horsepower 3.2 liter inline six cylinder engine mated to a buttery smooth shifting 4 speed automatic transmission with stopping power provided by four-wheel disc brakes. Other noteworthy features of this classic "SHARK" Bimmer include chromed factory 14" alloy wheels with bright center caps and brand new B.F. Goodrich TA tires [you may also add or substitute other wheel and tires setups at additional cost], original BMW am/fm/cassette stereo with working electric antenna, electric windows and sunroof, cruise control and electric leather seating!
This 633CSi is a great find for the Bimmerphile or classic car collector for less than the cost of the sales tax alone on a new, quickly-depreciating BMW 6 series!

THE BODY AND TRIM
The exterior of this car is in very good nearly perfectly rust-free condition overall. The stately arcticblau paint finish still has a very nice lustrous shine with a few defects including some clear-coat failure on the roof and hood areas along with some miscellaneous minor nicks, blemishes and scuffs on the body. The chrome wheels have a nice shine with excellent virtually new rubber and fresh BMW center cap emblems.
This handsome thirty year old classic BMW would be a great local show attendee that also stills garners much attention on the road!

THE INTERIOR
As I hope is articulated in the many photos here, the interior of this non-smoker car is in VERY good to excellent all original condition overall with beautiful almost crack-free dash, nice original blue leather electric  seats [showing some light wear and cracking particularly on the drivers seat], in-dash Panasonic stereo, COLD air conditioning, electric sunroof and windows, OBC[inop currently] and more. Overall, this is a very handsome cockpit which stills show pride of ownership thirty years later!

THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE
This classic BMW starts, runs and drives VERY well and EXTREMELY SMOOTH with respectable acceleration from the superb-running 3.2 liter six cylinder engine, silky smooth shifting transmission, excellent straight braking with good pedal feel, supple rattle or clunk-free suspension, quiet exhaust and confident handling with very nice steering feel. Overall this 633CSi provides an elegant and satisfying driving experience!

2014 BMW 2 Series is a 1 and then some

Thu, 24 Oct 2013

Pricing for the new coupe starts at $32,100 for the 228i and $43,100 for the M235i.
BMW has taken the wraps off its replacement for the 1 Series, the 2 Series, ahead of an official debut at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in January. Pricing for the new coupe starts at $32,100 for the 228i and $43,100 for the M235i that we showed you earlier today - not including $925 for destination. And before you break out the torches and pitchforks, know that those numbers compare favorably with the current 128i Coupe and 135is Coupe, which start at $31,500 and $43,550, respectively.

This Or That: 1980 Oldsmobile 442 vs. 1989 BMW 635CSi [w/poll]

Thu, 09 Oct 2014

The last time I roped a coworker into an automotive debate, I lost. Resoundingly, I might add. Still, 2,385 voters chose to cast their lots for the Fiat 500 Abarth, as opposed to 5,273 choosing the Ford Fiesta ST, and so I can rest easy in the knowledge that at least 30 percent of you, dear readers, see things my way. I still like to think we have more fun, too.
My loss in the first round of our This or That series, in which two Autoblog editors pick sides on any given topic and then attempt to explain why the other is completely wrong, didn't stop me from picking another good-natured fight, this time with Senior Editor Seyth Miersma. Last time, our chosen sides were eerily similar in design, albeit quite different in actual execution. This time, our vehicular peculiarities couldn't seemingly fall any further from one another: A 1980 Oldsmobile 442 wouldn't seem to match up in comparison to a 1989 BMW 635CSi.
How did we come up with such disparate contenders? Simple, really. Seyth and I mutually agreed to choose a car that's currently for sale online. It had to be built and sold in the 1980s, and it had to be a coupe. The price cap was set at $10,000. The fruits of our searching labors will henceforth be disputed, with Seyth on the side of the Germans, and myself arguing in favor of the Rocket Olds. Am I setting myself up for another lopsided loss?

10 best new car deals in late September 2021

Wed, Sep 29 2021

New car sales were drastically affected in 2020 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but things started to show signs of recovery toward the end of the year before really coming on strong in the early months of 2021. Now there's an ongoing shortage of microchips causing a great deal of pricing fluctuation and a limited supply of certain vehicles. That doesn't mean there aren't still great deals on new cars, though. Using data provided by TrueCar, we’ve compiled a list of some of the best automotive deals for September 2021. WeÂ’ve noted the original MSRP, the average transaction price, and the total savings in both dollars and as a percentage of the original sticker price. Basically, weÂ’ve done all the hard work for you! So now, all you need to do is compare deals, go on a few test drives, and maybe drive away in a great car (and an even better bargain).
