I'm selling my 2005 BMW 645ci coupe.  The exterior is titanium silver and the interior is tan leather with wood trim.  I recently had the car serviced at my local Certified BMW dealership - including a full inspection, engine tune up and new Toyo performance tires (over $2,000).  I purchased the car used from a dealer in June 2012 totalling of $30,000 with a 5-year or up to 10,000 miles wareanty.  I have had all my maintenance and check-ups performed at my local Certified BMW dealership.  I have all the records since the purchase date.

My car surprised everybody, including the people at the BMW dealership.  They are impressed by how beautifully the vehicle has been kept.  They are surprised when I tell them the year of the car.  The paint is still very glossy and bright except some small scraches on the rear and front bumpers. The leather inside is nearly perfect, unwrinkled and plush.  The car looks amazing and drive perfect.  I doubt you'll find a nicer looking 2005 BMW 645ci. Hard top 645 is very rare as well.

The reason why I'm selling this car is that I bought it as a fun 2nd car and to drive when my son uses my 1st car, a Toyota Prius.  Now that my son is going to college, I don't drive this car as much.  I am a middle age woman who drives casually and never speeds.  I get all the maintenance that I supposed to.  So you can be sure that the car has been babied and runs beautifully.  It's also very clean inside and outside.  The car was always garage kept, washed and cleaned regularly.

In my 2 years of ownership I've added superior quality tires, had everything gone over and updated (3 minor oil leaks, AC belt replacement, computer system replacement, tune up, new battery replaced).  I did everything the BMW dealer told me I should to keep the car running perfectly.

Kelly Blue Book priced this car at $22,000 - private sale by owner.  The dealer price is $25,000.  I think my car is worth the $25,000 because of the condition, the maintenance, tune up, transferable warranty and new tires - and because I've had all my work done at the authorized BMW dealerships.  this car comes with a warranty you will have to pay $100 in order to transfer.

Here's some more information.  I want to be straightforward and honest, so you know what you are getting. I've also added lots of photos.

Warranty

When I bought the BMW in June 2012, I also bought a 5-year or up to 10,000 miles transferable warranty.  I will transfer the warranty to the buyer for $100 (paid to the warranty company).  The remainder of the warranty is up to 10,000 miles or 2.5 more years - because at the time of my purchase it was 5 year warranty.

Maintenance History

In December 2012, I had a very minor engine oil leaks fixed at the Certified BMW dealership.

In June 2013, I had the computer system serviced/replaced.  The screen would not always load up when the car started.  after the replacement Now the computer works perfectly.

In June 2013, the BMW dealership performed a full engine tune-up.  Both June services cost me $1,800 because the computer was not covered by the warranty

A new battery was installed in November 2013.

In May 2013, 4 new Toyo performance tires were installed, which costs over $2,000.

Unfortunately there are 3 very tiny areas of damage.  The driver side mirror was cracked only on the bottom under the mirror and a small silver colored plastic piece was replaced.  The rear bumper has some very small paint scuffs.  And near the passenger side rear wheel there is a tiny paint scuff, hardly even visible. I showed these in the photos.  They are all very small and difficult to notice.   For a 2005, this condition is excellent.  No touch-up work is needed unless you are perfectionist.   I also will include the touch-up paints for the BMW regardless.

If you have any other questions about my car, please message me.  This is a remarkable BMW with a lot of power and beauty.  I think it will sell fast.

Delivery & Pick Up

I am listing this car for pick up only.  We can arrange a time after the auction closes.  If you want the car shipped, you (the buyer) must arrange all the details.  I have no experience with these things.  Any shipping costs are outside this auction (not included in the price) and must be paid by the buyer.  I'll do my best to cooperate if you have the car shipped.

Next BMW X5 caught testing in the snow

Wed, Jan 20 2016

That's not taken long at all. Less than three years after BMW introduced the current X5, the German automaker has already kicked off winter testing for its replacement. The new Sport Activity Vehicle (that's BMW for crossover) has been spotted in snowy terrain, complete with heavy camouflage and extra driving lamps. Now, this is a mule, which means we're absolutely not looking at production sheetmetal. Instead, we'd wager the next X5 is hiding well beneath this swirly camouflage. Compared with images of the current car, it looks like we're seeing a longer front overhang, a shorter rear overhang, and a tighter dash-to-axle ratio. That makes us think the next X5's exterior dimensions might be just a smidge smaller than the current model. And that gels with at least some of what our spies are telling us. For one, they're reporting that the new X5 will be significantly lighter, as is the trend nowadays. It will also be more comfortable and techy, both of which would put it in line with the new 7 Series. Beyond that, though, we're in the very earliest days of BMW's next SAV. The debut of the fourth-generation X5 will likely come in 2018 as a 2019 model. Related Video:

BMW 7 Series iPerformance hybrid priced at $90,095

Fri, Jul 15 2016

We've known that a new flagship plug-in hybrid from BMW was coming, but the German automaker hadn't revealed any details or exactly when it would be coming. Now we know both. Today BMW released detailed information on the electrified 7 Series. The new plug-in hybrids will be available in both short- and long-wheelbase variants, with xDrive all-wheel-drive available on the long-wheelbase model. The new model will carry the 740e (or 740Le for the stretched version) iPerformance moniker. BMW also confirmed to Autoblog that the models will be available in August starting at $90,095. Drivers concerned about letting everyone know they have the most high-tech and environmentally friendly 7 Series will be happy to know that BMW has visually distinguished the hybrid. The car will carry eDrive and i badges as well as exclusive blue grille bars and hub covers. And for potential owners wishing to make a personal statement, all the other styling kits available on the normal 7 Series are also available on the hybrid. Speaking of the exterior, know that the laser headlights available in Europe will not make the trip here. Mechanically, the big Bimmer is propelled by a 2.0-liter inline four coupled to an electric motor to make a combined 326 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. Power is transferred through an 8-speed automatic to either the rear wheels or all four. The electric motor, depending on configuration, can provide between 25 and 30 miles of driving on a full charge. That full charge also comes in under four hours using the standard wall charger, and under three when using the BMW i Wallbox accessory charger. When performance trumps frugality, the quickest 740Le xDrive iPerformance can hit 62 miles per hour in a claimed 5.3 seconds while it's two-wheel-drive counterparts are only 1 to 2 tenths slower. Drivers will also have a remarkable amount of control in how the drivetrain doles out power. An eDrive button will allow the driver to choose between Auto and Max settings. The former is the default setting that attempts to maximize range, but will engage the gasoline engine at 50 mph or under heavy throttle usage. The latter shifts to electric-only mode and can remain a pure EV up to 87 mph. It will still engage the combustion engine if the driver floors the throttle. Other features that control power usage are the new Adaptive driving mode and Battery Control function.

BMW prices M2 at $52,695, X4 M40i at $58,795

Wed, Jan 13 2016

BMW announced pricing for both the M2 and X4 M40i during the 2016 Detroit Auto Show. The M2 will be the slightly more attainable of the two, priced at $52,695 (including the $995 destination charge). That's about the price of a base Porsche Cayman, and represents a $7,550 premium over the price of the next-step-down M235i ($45,145 delivered). For that much scratch, you get a 2 Series coupe amped up with a 3.0-liter turbo six good for 365 horsepower and 343 pound-feet of torque. With all that muscle on tap, the M2 will rocket to 60 in 4.2 seconds (in M DCT form) and tops out at a typically German electronically-limited top speed of 155 miles per hour. Deliveries start in April. If you need more than two doors (but not much more head room), BMW also rolled out the new X4 M40i at the Detroit Auto Show, and with delivery set to commence next month, it has now released pricing for that as well. The high-performance slant-back will command $58,795 (delivered) – or $8,100 more than the X4 xDrive35i. (That places it price-wise in between the base Macan S and GTS.) It packs a 355 hp turbocharged inline-six channeled to all four wheels, and is capable of reaching 60 mph in 4.7 seconds. THE 2016 NORTH AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW IN DETROIT: - BMW to announce pricing of the all-new 2016 BMW M2. - BMW to announce pricing of the all-new 2016 BMW X4 M40i. Making its highly anticipated world debut, the first ever BMW M2 features the renowned BMW M performance complimented by a sleek interior and exterior design. The new entry model of the BMW M GmbH is perfectly aligned with M tradition ensuring unbeatable driving dynamics on the roads and the track, embodying the true DNA of BMW M vehicles. A newly developed M TwinPower Turbo technology 3-liter, 6-cylinder engine produces 365 bHP and 343 lb-ft of torque between 1,400 and 5,560 with an overboost function raising this figure to 369 lb-ft between 1,450 and 4,750 catapulting the high performance vehicle from 0-60 mph in 4.2 seconds ( M DCT) with a top speed of 155 mph. Inspired by its motorsport roots, the BMW M2 sets the pace in its segment when it comes to agility, driving feeling, directional stability, steering precision and controllability at the limit, without any compromise in everyday use.
