Exterior Condition- The exterior is in much better condition than you would expect for its year and miles. The paint is very shiny and appears to be original. Really just a couple of scratches and dings here or there but nothing at all noticeable without using close scrutiny. The front right wheel shows some surface rust but the full size spare is in very good condition. No accident history, rust, or flood damage of any kind.
Interior Condition- The interior is also in much better condition than you would expect for a car of this vintage! The leather is in good condition. The carpets and dash are also in very good condition. The headliner fabric is in good condition but is falling in a few spots. The drivers seats shows normal wear (see pic). All of the interior options work as they should including the: Windows, a/c, power locks, etc. The sunroof is inop. The rear portion of the power front seats (seat backs) are inop.
Engine and Transmission- The engine performs as it should. It has the appropriate amount of power and does not overheat or do anything abnormal. The transmission shifts beautifully. Overall really a pleasure to drive. This car is not perfect, there are probably some engine oil seepages that are consistent with any engine of this age. It does not however leak or consume enough oil that would require adding any inbetween oil changes. There are no spots in the driveway after sitting overnight.
Tires- The front tires are Michelins and have at least half tread depth remaining. The rears are Good Years and also have at least half tread depth remaining.

BMW M4 pitted against i8 in drag race
Fri, Jan 2 2015Germany's Auto Bild has set up a very intriguing drag race to settle not just an inter-brand rivalry within BMW but a question of the old school versus the latest tech. The BMW M4 is a leader among the traditional sports coupes with a turbocharged inline-six spinning the rear wheels, but the M has to tackle the cutting-edge i8 with its turbocharged three-cylinder augmented with electric drive. See what happens when they go head to head. Even on paper, the race looks quite close. The i8 weighs about 300 pounds less than the M4 and also slightly nudges it out on net torque at 420 pound-feet versus 406 lb-ft. Also in some shots, the pavement looks just a little bit damp here, which would benefit the i8's all-wheel drive setup. However, the M-car has a healthy horsepower advantage with 425 hp against the hybrid's 357 hp. The race commences after a short introduction. Watch and see whether the traditional tech or latest layout wins the day. 2024 CES Mega Photo Gallery: Honda concepts, a VinFast truck and flying cars galore
Thu, Jan 11 2024The 2024 rendition of CES is coming to a close, and per usual, it was full of all the funky, futuristic tech the show is long known for. It’s also full of cars and legitimately forward-thinking tech related to cars, and we were on the ground to see it all and bring photos to you in this Mega Gallery. A boatload of manufacturers attended and made big reveals, from the Star Wars-like Honda concept cars to a pickup truck from VinFast, the sort of debuts we got to see ran the gamut. Of course, there were plenty of reveals and vehicles on the floor that were even more outlandish than concepts from traditional OEMs like Honda and Mercedes. Check out this flying Xpeng car as an example. Or perhaps the flying Mansory car. Apparently, flying cars were a theme. Jay Leno puts focus on some retro-inspired BMW bikes
Mon, 28 Jul 2014Jay Leno puts eight wheels on display this week for Jay Leno's Garage from a quartet of retro-inspired BMW motorcycles. They are the creations of husband and wife team Larry and Carol Romestant, who build each one in their home garage.
Larry is a former aerospace engineer who loves BMW bikes, especially the K models. Now, he's combining his passion with a real talent for fabrication to build his own cycles with his wife. With Larry and Carol the only ones working on these projects, it takes them six to nine months to build each one. In addition to the old-school looks, the motorcycles are supposed to be a bit more user friendly than stock. For example, one of them ditches the standard five-speed gearbox in favor of a six-speed unit to be a little more comfy when cruising at high speeds.
