Up for sale if my Certified Preowned 2008 BMW 535i. This turbo charged beauty comes equipped with both the premium and sport packages. It features the highly desirable black on black combo. This car has always been garaged and well cared for. This is a 300 HP smooth beast, it has superb acceleration with a handling that only a BMW can offer.

This beauty is the sport edition, it has the oversize 18 inch premium wheels with Dunlop rubber on them. It comes with the paddle shifters in the steering wheel, if you have driven a BMW with this feature you know this is a super fun feature to have, for those of you who have not used them, trust me you are in for a treat!! Also on the steering wheel are all audio and telephone settings, this baby is super easy to pair with your phone, it will even load all you contacts information. Shifting can also be done by switching this beemer to manual, also super fun to do. The exhilarating feeling of power taking off from a stop light or merging into the Interstate will make you feel like a million bucks.

This BMW comes with the premium package, this includes the user friendly Idrive system that can be used to maneuver through all the menus. This package also brings navigation to a new level, my 4 year old learned how to use this system in 5 minutes, I am pretty sure you will get the hang of it in the same time or you might be able to beat his record (I wont tell him though as he is very proud of it). Also, as a token of appreciation I am throwing the subscription to Sirius XM best package. All channels are included, say goodbye to having to listen to commercials every 2 songs and say hello to an ever expanding library of more than 200 stations. Want to listen to your personal playlist on your phone or Pandora? No problem, this 535 comes ready to hook your iphone to it!! It is like a matching made in heaven, you can use the steering wheel controls to navigate through your iphone music.

As much fun as summer is, it can get so freaking hot!! Especially here in the south, thanks to the powerful and fully customizable AC system I can ride in comfort without having to experience early hot flashes. Once the summer is gone you can rest assure that the heated seats will serve you well during those months. Doing your Christmas shopping at minus 10 degrees outside never felt so good.

Those in the back seat can also customize the temperature and the power of the AC and Heating systems. There are ambient lights all over the car, on the door handles, front, rear, sides, everywhere.

This car comes with the remaining of the Certified Preowned warranty, it will cover the car until 12/20/2013 or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. Peace in mind is such a priceless thing to have!

I am having to say goodbye to my car, I have my 3rd baby on the way and this car wont do. I guess a minivan will be my next car, at least I wont get anymore tickets. Have you noticed that men on minivans never get pulled over?

I am taking the plunge here and I am selling this car with a very low reserve, lower than any other comparable car I found on ebay, cars.com, autotrader, etc. When comparing prices please make sure you do an apple to apple comparison. This is a 535i not a 525 nor a 530. This is a sport edition (look for the paddle shifters on the steering wheel), also look for the size of the wheels, this has the 18 inch wheels. Look for the color combo black on black, it is by far the most desirable color combination.

Did BMW really win the luxury car sales race?

Sun, Feb 14 2016

As anyone who follows our monthly By The Numbers series already knows, the luxury car sales race in the United States was close all of last year as BMW, Lexus and Mercedes-Benz seesawed up and down for sales supremacy. At the end of the year, it was BMW on top of the standings with 346,023 total sales. Or was it? According to data released by Polk, comparing the actual number of vehicles registered between the three top luxury players in the US paints a slightly different picture. Polk's data suggests that only 335,259 BMWs were registered in 2015, compared to 340,392 Lexus models. Why the disparity? It's all a matter of timing. Actual end consumers buy new cars, in almost all cases, from a franchised dealer. BMW delivered 346,023 vehicles in 2015, but only 335,259 of them were registered by their new owners. Presumably, those 11,000 BMWs did (or will) end up registered in the driveways of consumers, but they hadn't before January 1, 2016. Lexus General Manager Jeff Bracken wrote in an email to Automotive News, "Luxury sales leadership as measured by vehicle registrations is important to Lexus as it represents actual consumers engaging directly with our dealers." Of course, it goes without saying that we'll be paying keen attention to the 2016 luxury car sales race as it unfolds. If it's anything like it was in 2015, it'll come down to the wire, and even then may not be entirely clear. 2019 BMW M850i xDrive: How it compares on paper with other GT coupes

Wed, Jul 11 2018

Although the hot new vehicles for the rich seem to mainly comprise SUVs and supercars, the neglected luxury GT coupe segment is starting to see some life again. The latest to add a spark to this set is the 2019 BMW M850i xDrive. It goes on sale later this year, and revives the 8 Series that's been dead since the 1990s. The first version available to Americans will be one with a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8, with other versions likely following. Before it launches, we wanted to get a lay of the grand-touring land and see how the new BMW stacks up to the competition in performance, practicality and price. While some of these models have higher-performance or more-affordable iterations, we picked the versions that would be the closest match to this 8 Series model. They include the 2019 Lexus LC 500, 2018 Mercedes-Benz SL 550, 2018 Mercedes-Benz S 560 Coupe and the 2018 Maserati GranTurismo. We will also provide some short summaries on our experiences with these cars, but to get a full picture of each model, be sure to check out their full reviews. And if you want to compare any of these cars with models you don't see here, be sure to try out our car comparison tool. Engines, transmissions and performance On paper, the BMW M850i xDrive is clearly the performer of the group. It has the most power and torque at 523 horsepower and 553 pound-feet. Coupled with all-wheel-drive and an eight-speed automatic, the car is able to overcome its relatively portly 4,478-pound curb weight to hit 60 mph in a scant 3.6 seconds. That's more than half a second quicker than the lightest car in the group, the Mercedes-Benz SL550, which weighs 4,012 pounds. The other three vehicles are in the low- to mid-4-second range to 60 mph. Though the Maserati is the slowest to 60 mph, it does boast the highest top speed of 186 mph. The M850i and SL 550 are electronically limited to 155 mph, while the Lexus is limited to 168 mph. The Mercedes S 560 has the lowest top speed at an electronically limited 130 mph. View 52 Photos Of interest is that there's a 50/50 split among these cars between using a pair of turbos, and having none at all. The BMW and Mercedes resort to forced induction, whereas the Lexus and Maserati choose to stay naturally aspirated. This is likely why the Germans break 500 pound-feet of torque, while the others don't make it to 400. Also interesting is the spread of gear quantity. The Maserati has just six ratios to choose from, and the Lexus has a whopping 10.

Watch the BMW M4 drift around an aircraft carrier

Mon, 07 Jul 2014

A Nimitz-class American aircraft carrier is big. Really, really big. After all, it has to be, in order to launch and recover a wide array of military aircraft. But when it's not catapulting F/A-18 Super Hornets and E-2 Hawkeyes into the wild blue yonder, what exactly can you use its 1,040-foot long flight deck for? Well, BMW seems to have an idea.
Now, obviously BMW hasn't paid Uncle Sam to convert the deck of the USS John C. Stennis into a racetrack (but what an idea!). That doesn't make this video of an Austin Yellow M4 slipping and sliding its way around the carrier deck any less entertaining. The video itself comes, weirdly considering the US aircraft carrier, from BMW of Canada, and we aren't really sure what the point of it is. There's no voiceover, or title or closing screens to lend the scene any context, and it seems unlikely that this sort of seemingly high-dollar video wouldn't be done sheerly for giggles. Whatever the reason for its existence, it's worth a watch.
Scroll down and have a look.
