I have a 1984 BMW 533i for sale. This car sits on Air Lift air ride suspension with stainless steel air lines that have been tucked into the frame. It sits on OEM BMW style 32 wheels that have been powder coated gray. Tires have around 2,000 miles on them. The fenders have been rolled to accommodate the wheels when the car is completely lowered. The car is Black with a Cardinal red interior that is in good shape. The seats don't have any rips or tears, the dash has some cracking. 20% tint with lifetime warranty. The car has a Yakima Roof rack with custom wooden slats that have been stained and sealed. The motor has been cammed and is in great shape. There are no misfires, vacuum leaks or other major problems. The odometer reads 192k, but the ODOMETER DOES NOT WORK. The 5 speed trans doesn't slip or have any problems, and the clutch still feels like new. This car is rust free. Buyer is responsible for shipping. We can help connect buyer with reliable transport. Deposit of $500 down within 24 hours of auction close. Car is still for sale locally so the auction is subject to close at any time.  Feel free to call or text Oliver at 9197538461 with any questions and for more information.

BMW intros Concept M4 GTS ahead of Pebble Beach debut

Fri, Aug 14 2015

Meet the BMW Concept M4 GTS. Coming to this weekend's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, the new high-performance coupe gets both performance and aesthetic upgrades as it previews a higher-performance version of BMW's two-door darling. The headlining item is the new water-injection system. As previously reported, the setup draws from a 1.3-gallon water tank and was pioneered by the M4 Safety Car used in the MotoGP series. The new system injects water directly into the plenums of the intake manifold, where it is vaporized. The result is a lower compression temperature in the combustion chamber, which according to BMW means more horsepower and torque. You can get a broader explanation in the attached press release. Beyond the water-injection system, the M4 GTS will get OLED taillights. Their function sounds very German – "producing full-surface and homogenous illumination" – but we simply prefer the impact they've had on the look of the rear lights. It's markedly different than anything else in the BMW suite. There is a mix of aesthetic and performance upgrades to the normal M4 exterior, too. BMW has fitted manually adjustable aerodynamic aids, with a new chin splitter and a prominent rear spoiler. Both items are, unsurprisingly, made from exposed carbon fiber. BMW also turned to composites for the hood, opting for carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic. We're particularly fond of the M4 GTS' wheels. They're absolutely stunning staggered hoops, with 19-inchers in front and 20s in back. The 666M style, as BMW calls them, feature Acid Orange accents that really play well with the Frozen Dark Grey paint (although they clash quite badly with the yellow calipers on the carbon-ceramic brakes). Stay tuned for more on the new Concept M4 GTS, including live images from its debut in sunny California. Until then, scroll down for the official press release from BMW. Check out the trick way you access the tire valve on this BMW Alpina B6

Wed, 22 Oct 2014

The wheels are one of the first things you notice when checking out the 2015 BMW Alpina B6 xDrive Gran Coupe. The 20-inch aluminum alloy rollers have 21 spokes that spray out from their hubs, creating one of Alpina's signature design features. But there's also plenty of function to go along with the stylistic form of this hotted-up BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe.
By rotating the Alpina roundel and unlocking the center hub, you gain access to the tire valve and bolts, which are hidden inside. They're literally kept under lock and key, and they protect your Alpina's wheels from the elements and theft. This unique center-fill system employing a hollow spoke isn't a new setup for the favored BMW tuner, but since Autoblog had one in our offices this week, we thought we'd take the opportunity to show the unique mechanism in case you haven't seen it before. Check it out in our brief video below.
