2008 Bmw 535i Spacegrau Metallic/black Automatic Mint on 2040-cars
Hawaiian Gardens, California, United States
I have up for sale a 2008 BMW E60/N54 535i with 72K miles in excellent condition. I'm selling for my father whose priorities have recently changed due to retirement and has to let it go. He is a car nut and absolutely babied it during his ownership. Full maintenance has been performed in the past 6 months with records from BMW Encinitas. Everything is working flawlessly and has been garaged since his purchase over a year ago. Exterior and interior are both 10/10.
This car is smooth and pulls hard! The 535i has the N54 Twin turbocharged 3.0L I6 providing 302 hp and 288lb/ft. 0-60 5.4 sec. 1/4 mile: 14 sec. I fully welcome PPI and if you have any questions or concerns I will try my best to get back to you asap! Reserve has been set low. I can meet with you locally or ship the vehicle to you. Buyer will be responsible for shipping fees. Transaction can be completed at the bank or a cashier's check. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions. Thanks and good luck on your search! |

BMW raises pricing on many models
Wed, 02 Oct 2013Buyers interested in a new BMW will start paying a bit more for their Ultimate Driving Machines, beginning yesterday. The Munich, Germany-based manufacturer has announced price hikes across nearly its entire range, covering model years 2013 and 2014, that will sting higher-end customers in particular.
Price increases are enough to get any consumer riled up, but the incremental nature of BMW's increase makes it a bit easier to swallow. All 1 Series and remaining 3 Series Convertibles (including the M3 Convertible) will see a $300 increase in price. All current-generation F30 3 Series, 5 Series GT and X3 crossovers will get their price bumped by $200. $500 increases are coming for the 6 Series range (not including the M6), while the diminutive X1 gets just a $100 increase.
Cars on the losing end of the price hikes include the newest M cars, the M5 and M6 Coupe, Convertible and Gran Coupe, which are being bumped $2,000. BMW is adding $1,000 to the sticker of all Z4s and the entire X6 range, including the X6M.
EVO takes flight in BMW's sultry i8
Mon, 15 Sep 2014Electric cars and hybrids are here to stay, much to the apparent dismay of some auto enthusiasts, but that doesn't mean they have to represent the death of enjoyable driving. Granted, the initial run of hybrids in the US like the Honda Insight and Toyota Prius weren't exactly tailor-made for aggressive folks behind the wheel, but things are clearly changing. In its latest video, Evo takes a look at three examples from Europe's new crop of electrified vehicles to show that the future of fun motoring is safe and sound.
Evo editor Henry Catchpole kicks things off with one of the most bizarre EVs of the bunch, the tiny Renault Twizy. Its low power and 50-mile-per-hour top speed might make it miles away from a hot hatch, but there's still fun to be had in extracting the most from this little city car. Next up is the Audi A3 E-Tron, which isn't technically available yet. It's a step in the right direction of eventually creating an affordable, fun-to-drive hybrid hot hatch.
However, the main event is Catchpole getting some seat time in the BMW i8. The Bimmer can really fly -literally in this case - and the butterfly-door coupe offers a clear look at the prospects for electrified sports cars. It might not have the power of hybrid supercar contemporaries like the LaFerrari or Porsche 918 Spyder, but the BMW doesn't cost nearly as much, either. See? Improved efficiency doesn't have to mean boring.
