REPLACED PARTS: TRANSMISSION (2014), WATER PUMP (2014), THERMOSTAT (2014), FRONT WIND SHIELD (2013), IGNITION COILS (2013), ALL 4 BRAKES (2013), 2 FRONT TIRES (2013), & 2 REAR TIRES (2012) ! ITS ALL NEW!! IF I COULD DO IT AGAIN, I WOULD KEEP IT. BOUGHT A NEW CAR AND WILLING TO SELL IT. CLEAN CAR FAX. JUST REDUCED BUY IT NOW BY $1,000 SINCE WIFE WANTS HER GARAGE BACK. YES, I HAVE 4 CARS. THE AVERAGE SELLING PRICE OF THE 535I IS $14,500 WITHOUT THE REPLACEMENT OF EXPENSIVE PARTS. THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR A GREAT CAR WITH $4,000 IN NEW PARTS JUST IN JANUARY 2014. I am selling since I bought another car. After the purchase, as I was about to sell the car, warning lights came on to service the car. I found out that I needed to replace the water pump and transmission, so I did. I spent over $4K for replacements. Other replacements were all in 2013. The car is running very well. Now you have the comfort knowing that the most expensive parts will not trouble you. I am beginning to understand that BMW's water pump and transmission are its weakness for cars of this age; well no need to worry with this car. Other features include, 18 Inch Tires Window Tinting Front lip spoiler, Trunk spoiler, Adjustable driver/passenger seats w. memory, Ipod/iphone adapter, CD player, Bluetooth, Black rims, Red Caliper Covers Steering wheel cover OEM Touch up paint avail Engine running very smooth, was 3rd car for freeway driving. A/C ice cold, All scheduled maintenance. Must see, Never seen snow, No accidents, Non-smoker, Title in hand, Very clean interior, Well maintained. The bad if u can call that for full disclosure. The spring on the front hood is weak and needs support so I use a stick to hold it up. I am the 2nd owner, had it since 30,000 miles. The front spoiler is slightly scuffed. Serious offers only. Best offer considered. This car will go fast due to the recent replacements of expensive parts. Please do not waste my time with low ball offers, I will not respond. I am a busy person. |

2014 BMW 4 Series Coupe images leak out
Fri, 14 Jun 2013Because embargoes were apparently made to be broken, images of the 2014 BMW 4 Series coupe have leaked onto the Internet ahead of the car's official debut thanks to Car Design News' Facebook page. As you'll recall, the 4 Series is the replacement for the outgoing 3 Series coupe, its nomenclature falling in line with the rest of BMW's lineup, where coupes and convertibles will be set apart from their sedan counterparts by one number.
As we can see in the photos, the 4 Series takes a lot of its design cues from the 3 Series on which it is based, but there's a lot more in the way of attractive body sculpting, and this production model stays true to the original 4 Series Coupe Concept that we saw at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.
We don't have official details to divulge just yet, but we can discern from the photos that the range-topping coupe will be the 435i model, likely powered by BMW's turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six from the 335i. There will no doubt be a 428i model with a 2.0-liter turbo-four underhood, and we expect BMW to offer its xDrive all-wheel-drive system on both models. Much like the 3 Series, a variety of trim levels will be on offer, including a top-spec M Sport trim that you can see painted in Estoril Blue here.
BMW 2 Series Coupe priced from $33,025* ahead of Detroit debut
Fri, 13 Dec 2013BMW is definitely going to have its hands full at next month's Detroit Auto Show. The big news might be the debut of the M3 and M4, which were previewed in our Deep Dive, but joining those performance cars under the bright lights will be the all-new 2015 BMW 2 Series Coupe.
While we already know most of the details about the 2 Series and its available M Performance parts, BMW has now announced that the Coupe will go on sale in the first quarter of next year with a starting price of $33,025 (*plus $925 for destination) for the base 228i. This price is about $1,500 more than the current 1 Series Coupe, which starts at $31,500, while the M235i's starting price of $44,025 is almost $500 more than the existing 135is Coupe. There is still no indication as to when we'll see 2 Series Convertible unveiled.
In addition to new M cars and the 2 Series, BMW's display will also reveal another new color-theme package for the Z4. Last year we saw the Hyper Orange package, and this year will give us the Ivory White Burnt Sienna Z4 available in an exclusive Sparkling Brown Metallic exterior paint color. Scroll down for the full press release of production vehicles BMW has planned to showcase at Detroit's Cobo Hall next month.
BMW Smart Charging App helps drivers charge for less
Tue, Jun 10 2014As electric vehicles proliferate and people try to conserve energy, moves toward smart charging seem only natural. Now, BMW is offering smarter charging, and it should mean more money in the pockets of its customers when they charge at home. BMW owners who drive one of the company's i vehicles will be able to use the BMW Smart Charging App that taps into a national energy rate database (powered by Genability) to allow drivers to automate charging during off-peak hours when electricity usage costs are lower. Charging vehicles at these lower rates could save drivers as much as $400 a year, BMW says. It's a simple idea, but one that could make BMW's EVs even more attractive to potential customers. The BMW Smart Charging App is initially available to customers who have leased a BMW ActiveE from the company's 2012 test fleet, a group whom BMW dubs Electronauts, and many of whom are also early adopters of the BMW i3. The app will then become available to all BMW i3 and i8 customers beginning in 2015. The Smart Charging App is integrated with the BMW i Remote App, which links with the BMW ConnectedDrive interface to also allow drivers to monitor charging times and vehicle status, adjust charging settings and even adjust vehicle temperature so the car is ready before the driver gets in the vehicle. The Smart Charging App is available for iOS and Android devices. Find more information in the press release from BMW below. BMW Launches First App to Automate the Home Charging Process for BMW i Electric Vehicles. 09.06.2014 BMW Smart Charging App Determines Optimal Times for Charging Electric Vehicles Based on Rates and Calculates Cost. Woodcliff Lake, NJ – June 9, 2014... The new BMW Smart Charging App makes it possible for BMW i customers to automatically identify the best rates and times for charging their electric vehicles at home. Developed by the BMW Group and available for Android and iOS devices, the BMW Smart Charging App is integrated with the BMW i Remote App, which allows drivers to get vehicle information via their smartphone. The BMW Smart Charging App has the potential to save customers as much as $400 annually on their electric bills. BMW is the first automotive manufacturer to offer this automated and fully integrated functionality. In its initial phase, the BMW Smart Charging App is currently available to BMW Electronauts.
