Fantastic and Beautiful Car!
Exactly what you expect from a BMW, power, elegance, and solid handling.
Drive it just as it is and you'll have an excellent daily driver that'll get compliments on a daily basis and will be a joy to drive.
Take care of a few details and this BMW will be your pride and joy for years to come.
Don't want to mess up your new car this winter? This could be your perfect winter car! Heated Front Seats!!
This 540iA performed flawlessly on a cross country trip from Los Angeles to Tampa in August.
I am the 3rd owner of this 15 year old German Sport Luxury Cruiser.
Please remember she is 15 years old. As good as she is, this vehicle does have a few details that need taken care of to make her 100% again.
Mechanically:
the vehicle has been checked over by a BMW specialist and the only known issue is that the the check engine light is on, due to a faulty electrical thermostat. However the mechanical portion is working perfectly and the car has NO overheating issues!
Rear passenger window regulator needs to be replaced.
Cosmetically:
After 15 years and 136,000 miles the paint has some chips and is starting to fade a little, but it still shines up nicely, as seen in the pictures.
The gray, full power, heated leather seats show some wear, but are still incredibly comfortable.
Some of the wood grain trim is cracked.
Overall:
Great car. As is, makes a great daily driver or winter car. With a little attention you can easily make it new again.
If you're a fan of BMW's, you know how great this car is. If you've always wanted to get into a BMW but were afraid of the costs, you can't go wrong at this price!
Nearly 300 horsepower! 0-60mph in 6 seconds (in a car that weighs nearly 4000lbs!)
Front & Rear side impact airbags.
Wholesale priced! Don't miss out.
I can possibly deliver anywhere along the East Coast (at cost) AFTER vehicle has been paid for.
Vehicle is being advertised locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.

2014 BMW 4 Series Coupe images leak out
Fri, 14 Jun 2013Because embargoes were apparently made to be broken, images of the 2014 BMW 4 Series coupe have leaked onto the Internet ahead of the car's official debut thanks to Car Design News' Facebook page. As you'll recall, the 4 Series is the replacement for the outgoing 3 Series coupe, its nomenclature falling in line with the rest of BMW's lineup, where coupes and convertibles will be set apart from their sedan counterparts by one number.
As we can see in the photos, the 4 Series takes a lot of its design cues from the 3 Series on which it is based, but there's a lot more in the way of attractive body sculpting, and this production model stays true to the original 4 Series Coupe Concept that we saw at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.
We don't have official details to divulge just yet, but we can discern from the photos that the range-topping coupe will be the 435i model, likely powered by BMW's turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six from the 335i. There will no doubt be a 428i model with a 2.0-liter turbo-four underhood, and we expect BMW to offer its xDrive all-wheel-drive system on both models. Much like the 3 Series, a variety of trim levels will be on offer, including a top-spec M Sport trim that you can see painted in Estoril Blue here.
2013 BMW M3 Coupe Lime Rock Park Edition

I like difficult cars. I like turbo "moments," dramatic weight distribution, low-grip, peaky power delivery, and overly quick steering, along with ultra-short wheelbases and any number of other non-racecar-perfect dynamic foibles. I love the newest generation of BMW cars and engines - all turbo'd up with tons of torque and power everywhere in the rev range, too. But what I think the enthusiast community will miss when this 2013 M3 Coupe becomes the 2014 M4 Coupe - replacing its idiosyncratic, small-displacement, revvy V8 for something like a triple-turbo, directly injected, inline six-cylinder powerhouse in the process - is the work it takes to drive the car fast and perfectly. Sometimes small flaws just make things better; my mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun, and all that.
The idea of this E92 M3 going away then, magnified by the loss of the M3 badge for the coupe, is at best bittersweet for me. This generation of M car is already surpassed in terms of raw thrills by the better-than-ever Mercedes-Benz C63, a car that doesn't ask its driver to sacrifice low-end grunt or the very latest in amenities in return for stellar backroad performance. Yet any time I've been lucky enough to lap a track in the M3, it has quickly become clear that the Bimmer is the better on-edge tool. With the freedom to wring the neck of the 4.0-liter V8 and room to exercise the lovely balance of the car, the E92 is hard to match (even six years after its debut).
Senior VP Hildegard Wortmann says BMW's electric journey is just beginning
Fri, Mar 14 2014Anyone who questions BMW's effort or sincerity on electrified vehicles should have a chat with Hildegard Wortmann, the German automaker's senior vice president over product management for automobiles and aftersales. I was fortunate to do just that at the Detroit North American International Auto Show earlier this year. ABG: Where might BMW go with electrified vehicles beyond your i3 urban EV and i8 high-performance hybrid sports car? "That [regulatory] train has left the station" - Hildegard Wortmann HW: I think a big advantage is that we now have two bookends: BMW i [green] and BMW M [high performance]. We can use those bookends to foster the BMW brand in total. Are electrified vehicles the answer to CAFE and European regulations? Is that the future? We don't know, but that [regulatory] train has left the station. To achieve all of these regulations worldwide, there is no way to do it without electrification. That is why the activities of BMW i are not just to launch new products. They are our build-up in competence for learning and gaining experience in electrification. We will use those learnings for the total BMW brand. Technology-wise, we now have a really good understanding of what to do, what not to do, how to work with this and how to get a lot of learnings from the infrastructure and everything that goes with it. And depending on how quickly the market takes off, we can scale it and use it across the range. We will use the competence we will have in vehicle electrification for more than just BMW i. There will be other derivatives and electrification of other products. ABG: Do you see BMW offering pure EVs with larger batteries for greater range? HW: That's a big feature of the Tesla. The question is to find the best balance [of range vs. battery size, weight and cost]. On the i3, we tried to have the right balance between how much range customers need for daily driving and how much battery we put in there. The market will show us. We have over a million kilometers driven by consumers in the Mini E and ActiveE and a fairly good understanding that those people are not driving that much. Putting a really big battery with all that weight into a car that is meant for urban mobility does not make sense. ABG: What about extended-range EVs beyond the i3's optional small range extender engine? "This whole EV movement is in its very early stages." HW: This whole EV movement is in its very early stages.
